I would check into potential diabatic neuropathy and increase methyl b-12 5,000 mcgs 2 times a day with P5P 50 mgs increasing slowly.

Sleep on your stomach you may have a mis alignment in your spine or subluxation ..Check for structural imbalances.

Many thanks Matrix. I will see my chiroprator...

I experience numbness in my arms - usually the one I am not sleeping on. When I move to my back, it goes away. I took my BP when experiencing the numbness one night and it was 90/50. Is this normal for night time supine BP?

You are probably cutting the circulation temporarily if the numbness goes away quickly.

As you are experiencing "socks and gloves" peripheral neuropathy I would get it checked by a Doctor. It will hopefully be nothing but it can be caused by a range of things including vitamin deficiency, malabsorption, some diseases and heavy metal poisoning.

I was getting this but isolated to one hand, I have a trapped nerve but I done quite a bit reading on other possible causes. Still awaiting my B12 and some other blood results as well...

Nuker, I was recently told by a cardiac consultant that the home blood pressure tester is not calibrated for the arm bands' position relative to the heart. I can get mine to read 20 points difference depending on how I lie.

I would also look at hypothyroid as this can effect ciruclation as well plus thyroid slows down at night time ..Sleep apnea could also cause decreased circulation as well as you structural imbalance..You may want to elevate the head of your bed to help ciruculation through out your body. Blood flows down hill and to outer extremitites

I have this same problem.

It's a good idea to check blood sugar levels during the day if you have this kind of problem, i'm just about to do this as well.

Hypothyroidism screws up circulation pretty badly.

Could hypothyroidism itself if severe enough cause neuropathy of any kind i wonder...

Does hydroxocobalamin help with this or just methylcobalmin matrix?

Interesting stuff on the Thyroid, not something I've read much about in terms or nerves. When I went for tests after discovering my neuropathy my T3 and T4 levels were tested.

Sorry, I should have included that they were normal. I'm still waiting for B12 and Folate as my sample was haemolysed and I had it done again.

Need urine to comfirm functional defieincy blood will not show it.

for functional serum tests... what about RBC folate, and methylmalonate (elevated in B12 deficiency)

nope.
Because you need to look at other enzymes that are associated with b-12 in the CNS not the mitochondrion or blood indices.

Just like thyroid it could be in the blood, but not functional.

Since I am takng Vitamin D3 (only 3 days now) I get the feeling that my numbness are worst. Is it just coincidental or could be a relationship?

the maximum I took was 4000 UI. Could it be symptoms of overdose?

Overdose of Vit D is usually at 40,000 UI I've read. Maybe if you're supplementing and getting a lot of sun exposure, otherwise I'm sure you're fine.

I am living in suny area and I have a white skin.

I should mention also that when I did a blood test on Wednesday, the nurse touched a nerve and now my left forehand is like unsensitive.

I wouldn't supplement with vitamin D if you're getting plenty of sun exposure.

and? what was the result?

Low thyroid = low tissue cobalamine which would explain your scenerio
If thyroid is properly evaluated.
