10 weeks

I got really out of shape going to college. I only started training/dieting 10 weeks ago. I am happy with my progress, but want more. What percentage bodyfat would you guys say I have? BTW, there has been a lot of arms measurement talk so I just thought I would throw in a pic of mine and tell they are 16.5" As for my other measurements I am 5'8" and weigh 186. Let me know what you guys think I need work on, and if the pics actually work haha.

Thanks for the comments guys. When I started to train I wasted no timewith anything. I started a great diet my first week, and have been extremely consistant. I also had a bottle of methoxy-tst/mega-trn, that was about to expire, so I decided it is time to use it, and I did. So for the supplements for the first 8 weeks I was on that cycle. Then after that I used PCT from AX, and also axis sports hyper test. weeks 8-10 I used VenEvol to help me shed a few extra pounds of fat. I lift 4 days a week, and do cardio 7. My workouts normally looked something like this day 1: shoulders and chest day 2: back and bis Day 3:(I take a break before this day) and do legs Day 4:L arms. I do cardio every morning for 1 hour (around 130ish bpm) on an empty stomach and then for 20 minutes after I lift.

Here is my diet

Meal 1: 3/4 cups oats
1/4 cup strawberries
2 scoops of whey protein

Meal 2: 3/4 cups of brown rice
1/4 cup asparagus
1 chicken breast trimmed of fat (and I boil the chicken)
2 pills flaxseed oil/ 2 pills omega 3

Meal 3: 3/4 cups brown rice
1/4 cup asparagus
1 can of tuna or other fish
2 flaxsceed oil pills/ 2 omega 3 oil pills

Meal 4: 6-8oz Extra Lean ground turkey/beef (beef on lifting days only)
1 small yam/sweet potato (I try to make sweet potato fries but sometimes it takes too long)
2 pills flaxseed oil/ 2 pills omega 3

Meal 5: 3/4 cup lowfat cottage cheese

Meal 6: 2 scoops of protein

I have actually cut back on my brown rice, and its not 1/2 cups becuase I feel that I hit a road block cutting weight.

I gotta say this is really impressive. 10 weeks can be a lot. All depends how you want it!

Jjohn, "all depends on how you want it", yeah man I am getting married in 1 week, so I wanted it really really bad haha.

Davidlee: Hey man here is basically what I do.

Day 1: Chest (I always switch up what I start off with) So I either start off with bench, decline bench, incline bench. My only complaint about this is that it was hard to tell if I was getting stronger. So for the last few weeks I started off with incline dumbell press, and its been great. My first week doing this my last set was with 85's and was happy to put it up 6 times. The next week my last set was with 90's, and just 2 days ago I did it with 95s so I am really happy with this progress. I figure I will keep it up till I cant go up in weight (even though my gym only goes up to 100s haha). After that I do the other 2 lifts mentioned and cable cross

Day 2 Back: I start off with dead lifts, depending on how I feel that day I either go heavy or high reps. I then do bent over rows, pull ups, and then close grip pull ups, and finally lat pull downs. After that I hit a few sets of bis.

Day 3: I skip a day before this because my legs are sore from dead lifts. I start off with squats 8-10 reps. Then I move my legs in and do 2 more sets of squats. Then I go to leg press and do really high reps (like reps of 50). Then I alternate between leg extensions/curls.

Day 4: Arms :), I always alternate what I start off with either shoulders bis or tris first. I do pretty standard stuff on this day. Nothing special

Thanks for all the kind word guys, its nice to hear I look big in a good way haha. BTW m16, I want yoru back hahaha

That is amazing progress mate, for 10 weeks you should be really proud of yourself. In terms of body fat percentage I'd hazard a guess at 15-16% (you're holding a bit of abdominal fat right now).

What's the plan now? Continue cutting?

Thanks for the estimate ukstrength, I was figuring around there myself. I took 2 different types of tests, 1 said 13.6% (which I didn't believe) and another said 22% which I didn't want to believe haha. 16 sounds like a number in the middle. I would like more than anything to continue cutting, but my bachlore party is tomorrow, and then I am getting married in a week. So what I am planning on doing is just eating well/work out/party. Then after the wedding, I am going to do whatever I can to get a six pack haha. I just really hope I do not put on much fat, it was a nightmare getting it off in the first place haha.

Thanks for the comment learn, I am using hypertest as part of my pct. I also have a bottle of xtract for after the wedding when i really want to get shredded. YOu guys make great products. Is there any chance of being a guinnie pig for future products?

Very nice progress. Looks like a LOT of hardwork really paid off!

I can't do deadlifts first on my back days, makes me too damn tired right away! Do some heavy sets at the end to finish off a solid back workout.

i think i may give this plan a run! hopefully brown rice is somewhat bearable cold.. i do physical labor so i gotta eat everything out of a cooler!

funny you say that because when i first tried this diet out it was years ago in college. So I had to eat everything cold (the chicken sucks), but my best advice to do it is have a crap load of water to swallow it down. Great progress on your pics man looking much better!

Thanks bro! Ive been at it just about as long as you... 10 weeks or so! Im ready to take it even further though and this whole time I havent followed a structured diet exactly yet

I actually like cold chicken :) wooo wooo!

thats crazy for 10 weeks.

Good job.

but that mst/trn must have been working...

still got some for me?, haha

It can depend a lot on the test you use. Skinfold estimations are notoriously bad if the practitioner isn't that well-trained or doesn't conduct them regularly.

The 'body fat analysers' that you see in most gyms (where you grab a pair of metal bars or stand on platform barefoot) are also really inaccurate, using electrical resistance between the different body tissues to estimate bodyfat, you can easily be out by 10% depending on hydration.

I'd say the two best things to go by are tape measurements and the mirror, even the scale is horribly inaccurate and can fluctuate dramatically. Just take your measurements at the same time each week and chart your progress and be critical of yourself in the mirror, i.e. do you look leaner?

Enjoy your wedding mate, it's a (hopefully) once in a lifetime experience that you won't forget, save the restrictive diet for post-wedding/honeymoon ;)

and even then, I wouldnt worry about working out.

you and your partner should be getting plenty of exercise the next few days after you marry, or when you are on your honeymoon.:beerchug:

Just do me a favor, next time you are on top of her, say my name.

ooh and about the tst/trn comment, yeah I wouldn't look this good w/o them. These results were just way too quick. I will call the supplement store today to make sure they still have 1 bottle, let me know if you really mean it.

are methoxy-tst and mega trn the same thing?

Methoxy-TST
Innovator: Bioscience Technologies
Nomenclature: 17b-methoxytrienosterone
Pill size: 2mg
Dosages: The label recommends 2-6mg daily, but many users report only noticing effects when dosed at 8-12mg.
Side effects: Low liver toxicity. Some users say this is a libido killer, yet others say the exact opposite. Other users report sides of thinning hair/hair loss.
Reputation: Seemingly underdosed, methoxy-TST could be considered an underrated designer, as many users have reported some substantial gains with higher dosages.

Id pick it up just for yourself.

How much does it cost and whats the exp?

Those are hard to find these days.

But the new tren type compounds of today should produce similar type results.

Id say id want it, but im already planning another cycle.

Im shure someone would buy it off you for shure.

Thanks for the offer.:006:

no prob mars, I just wanted to throw the offer out there because I know this stuff has basically became extinct. That was also a really good deal on them. I think they sold it by now anyways haha.

Grunt, hows the BMS diet comming along haha?

Note To Self: Brown Rice not so good cold! Like eating it fresh out of the bag hahaha...
