Ok the last tub of chocolate PB I got had a 60 cc measuring cup and the new one I got today has a 70 cc measuring cup but the nutrition info is the same on both labels so whats the deal if I'm getting an extra 10 cc's of powder then the nutrition info should be different so please help

Haha, well damn, what happens when you receive a tub that's missing a scoop? That's what happened with my nutraplanet cupcake batter 5lb tub. Hell, I dug around in the tub for a few minutes just to be sure there wasn't a scoop.

Of course I ended up using an old scoop but there's no way to know if it's the correct size for that tub density.

My last batch had a 60cc scoop, the new batch has a 80cc. Since the scoops have got bigger is there more protein in a tub so that it still has the correct 80 servings or are we actually getting less servings in a tub??

Let he said, the density is changes. It weighs the same, but takes up more space. Probably because the whey protein particle sizes are bigger.

Sorry but protein powder is not "measured by density". It is measured in grams/kilograms a unit of weight. If the scoop is different then the label should have changed in some way, the very least being a different number of servings in the tub.

Your headed down the right path but your still only half correct. Your theory is correct, IF we didn't change the scoop size.
The volume of the scoop is adjusted to match the serving size.
This does NOT change the number of serving because the product is sold by weight not by volume.
If I took a 70cc scoop and I filled with lead, it is going to weigh about a pound. If I fill that same 70cc scoop with whey protein it is going to weight approx 28 grams.
Thus the two products occupy the same space yet they possess two different bulk densities.

Use a 70cc. Only one batch was actually 60cc

Weird i just got some chocolate from nutra and it came with 80cc scoops bt i weighed it out an it came to almost 40 grams of material per scoop that cant be right i had a few 70cc laying around an used those an they hit just about right at 28-29 grams which is the listed serving size? so why did it come with 80cc scoops?

Yeah i made sure to tare each scoop then fill, the 80cc scoop came out about 38-39 grams an the 70cc was 28-29 i only did it cause i noticed i was going thru it faster than usual then i saw this thread so i thought to check, ill say the new whey i got has a different texture than old batches hard to explain more powdery if thats a word seems lighter too, just thought id bring this to you guys attention in case a mistake was made some where along the way.

I wondered the different scooper sizes myself. First order of choc PB isolate was the red 70cc, my second order of cupcake batter isolate was a clear 80cc and the tub of whey concentrate i just got in has a black 60cc scooper. I'll take a blue 35cc next...
