Janeane Garofalo, please stick to acting.

Apparently because I went to a Tea Party, and I'm upset about being overtaxed, underrepresented, and sick of government intervention in my life, I'm now just a racist-redneck that can't stand having a black man as my president...oh, and apparently I have issues with my frontal lobe. Ahhhh, the classic Hollywood diagnosis.

I don't even want her acting either

I'll give people credit where it's deserved, and I think she's a pretty good actress, but she needs to continue letting people write her script for her...It's funny how so many people in Hollywood are good actors/actresses, yet when it comes time for them to talk...wow.

Also, be looking out for the Paul Begala v. Don Imus clip. It's not on YT yet, but Begala calls those attending Tea Parties as whiners and tells us we just need to shut up and pay our taxes...among other things.

I had to stop listening to her about 30 seconds in. I guess I am a racist redneck who voted for Obama. Do I think McCain would be any better. No. I think he would be worse. These bailouts and government intervention started with Bush and I think would have continued with McCain, so worse for the hypocrisy. With a Democrat, at least this is expected.

Republicans needed a wake up call, and this is it. I used to expect that if you vote for a Republican, they will be fiscally conservative, be equitable with taxes, and push for limited government in our lives. Bush spent a lot. He did cut taxes, but wasted the taxes we did pay by overspending and approving bail outs. And the government got bigger.

For me, the last election was basically a lose - lose situation. The only honest Republican out there in my mind is Ron Paul. His message and call for change would have been a direct and poignant challenge to Obama's retoric of change.

And we got McCain and Palin. Lame.

Palin is a great conservative woman and would handle this position much better than Obama is; McCain by no means would have been "worse" but he by no means would have solved everything, either. Two things will fix our country...

1. Fair Tax
2. Term limits

Watching the video again...

I'm also sick of the sexual spin put on the word. Is that actually supposed to be funny? Is that really the best they can do?...Is it just me, or is standing up to an oppressive government about as American as you can get?

These people are a disgrace to our founding fathers and veterans that died for this country, the people, and their freedom.

Say what you want about Palin, she didnt pretend to be someone shes not just to get elected and that was nice.

Janeane is, like many acting folks, clueless. Its annoying that they give these people mics.

a great conservative woman?

well shes hot, so that makes it work

However, this was going to be tough, as mentioned previously, there was no one out there that was fiscally conservative which is what was needed. Sadly Obama is taking a page out of Bush's book, and the book of the current crop of republicans.

For those that think that Palin will have a chance in 2012, ;)
