Arimidex during cycle? --experts view?

...so ive read hundreds of posts and still cant get a feel for weather or not to take a small dosage of Arimidex while on a 12 week test e cycle..
i have read that you should only take it at signs of gyno..
i have read to start Arimidex 2 weeks before cycle...
i have read only take it in PCT...

i dont know if im prone to gyno as this is my first cycle..
 
adex will also help you not to bloat so much. Its up to you if you want to take it or not. Its not required. I am two 2 weeks into my first cycle of dbol and test c and have some on hand. I decided not to take until i start seeing the bloat. i have nolva on hand for the gyno and for the pct.
But thats just me.

I have done a lot of research but dont claim to be an "expert"
 
any time im using compounds that make you tend to retain water, i use .5 adex eod throughout the cycle. it is enough (for me) to keep water and other estrogen related sides away and still make good gains. if you do more than that it can interfere with your gains. it is a very strong compound.
 
Adex is not for gyno. It will not stop it. Adex is for bloating/water issues caused by aromatizing compounds.

stop it? probably not. but its meant to help prevent gyno.

adex is a "before the fact" compound for prevention, where letro and nolva are "after the fact" compounds

In a way yes. It helps with the amount of circulating estrogen which causes gyno.
 
How about Proviron ? Would it be better to use it instead of Arimidex to reduce estrogen during the cycle ?

I am planning a Sustanon/Deca/Winstrol cycle and I hear that Proviron is widely used for that same purpose.

Any experience ?
 
so .25 or .5mg of ADEX EOD?
man... .25mg might be tough to split on that small pill... prolly endup doing lines =)

i disagree with this also. it will stop it. if you don't have the circulating estrogen you wont get the gyno in the first place.
 
Here is what I'd recommend....if you are filling gyno signs, take Nolva...it will work much faster than Adex, bye blocking the estrogen receptors. If you are not feeling it, take Adex to keep the estrogen levels low, since it is an Aromataze Inibitor, and you also get the bloating and water retention under control.

Aromazin, which its pharmaceutical name is Exemestane, is considerably stronger than Adex (Anastrozole) but not quite as strong as the Femara (Letrozole). It reduces estrogen by around 85% when you are dosing it at 25mg ED (1 tab).

You can safely take it during a cycle as well when you are very sensitive to estrogen. However, if you are not, you'd limiting the gains you could achieve in a bulk cycle if you are almost completely eliminating estrogen in your body. I'd use it for post-cycle instead.

I think we are talking 2 different things here.............Adex is for on cycle use to prevent estrogen related issues. Once you have gyno, you need nolva or something else, not ADex.
My first post was assuming you already had gyno. The op in the first post asked if he should take it only at the sign of gyno.....too late then.
You're right....it is to stop excess circulating estrogen.
 
Arimidex is and has always been my recommendation during cycle....Years ago, when it was either arimdex or nolvadex, I would encourage people to use the arimidex if they could afford it over the nolvadex. Then other more powerful inhibitors came out (femara), but I still maintain that arimidex is the best. I have seen firsthand that femara often works "too well", and takes estrogen levels too low, thus causing other issues. Arimidex seems to have a broader sweet spot, and I rarely ever see this happening with users.

Think of it like this....arimdex is a step higher up the food chain that nolvadex....it works differently, but not so good that it causes its own set of problems.

Still a little mixed up on dosage though. I am thinking .5mg, two times a week starting at about week 3 or 4 of my Test/Var cycle. Or would it be better to do .25mg 3 times a week, or even .25mg 2 times a week? Thanks brothers

typically its taken daily. I would start out at .25mg a day and up it to .5mg if you need to. BTW is that test prop? If it is you should be fine with .25mg a day if you concern is bloat.
