Do you guys think there is enough creatine in Jacked for weight gain or is it only effective for pre workout energy?
 
Creatine itself does not induce skeletal muscle hypertrophy. Also note, that the amount you take is not the limiting factor of performance (you're body stores creatine naturally). The limiting factor in which determines how much creatine is used is the enzymatic activity by creatine kinase, which breaks down the creatine.
 
Creatine can cause water rentention by release of ADH from the posterior pituarity gland due to its high concentration of sodium. It will not cause skeletal muscle hypertrophy.

All creatine is, is a molecule which transports and stores phosphate groups. In the phosphagen system, when ATP is depleted due to muscle activity and abundance of ADP is formed (this is where creatine comes into play). Creatine is broken down by the enzyme creatine kinase to cleave the phosphate group, which then binds to the abundance of ADP to form ATP. In some scenarios ADP will bind with another ADP to form ATP + AMP.

What can you do to ensure the enymatic activity is not breaking down the creatine , so more is available for use?
 
Creatine kinase is always active just from daily activities.

Unless you're in heart failure or something it isn't an issue.

it can cause slight water weight gain in some.. it's mostly a precursor to ATP and/or utilized as energy for short durations in high intensity excercises.. it's really helpful for lifting.

In my opinion, the amount is perfect for pre-workout dosing. I never feel bloated from it. I will add 5g Creatine Mono to my post workout shake as well.
