Going for a run with MMV2+H-Drol

I agree. Captive by choice my man. I hope our pleading shows you the evil ways of this marriage institution we have fallen victim to. If nothing else I hope our pathetic pleading for stories from you shows what not to do in the future.
Though I have to confess I do like my wife on occassion.

And bringing Silver back home to the Mama Bear with glitter and snail trails all over his face would not be a good thing. Talk about a roid rage! and not from either of you.

I think you are on the right track. That marriage thing will always be there. But while you are still young and able to be selfish by all means do it. I got married right after college and have no regrets but I could have not done it that way and been fine with that as well. I just happened to find that girl and it was over.
But you are in the hottest city in the world and are a single successful guy. So why not? I'm jealous of that entire set up. The burbs, house and hot trophy wife will be there when you really want to find it. And who knows, it may find you when you aren't looking. But look at them all while you can you lucky bastard.

Play while you are still young TL. Get it all out of your system. Just remember one thing, god forbid a bad situation befalls you, because the only ones that will really go the extra mile for you are family and your partner in marriage. And there is nothing on this planet that can make my heart feel the things it does like my kids!! Enough of my sappiness...:sigh1:

Hey bro. Thanks for wading through our BS to find the real reason that this log is running.

As far as diet goes I haven't really changed too much. I always keep my pro intake high. I have added some extra carbs lately to combat some lethargy that has been killing me. I have been having a coffee at night after dinner to stay awake for a while longer than I had been before. It has worked and still lets me pass out for bed on time.

And my dosing had been 2 H-drol and 2 MMV2 with my morning shake and supports. I would then take 2 more of each at lunch time. Then an additional MMV2 early afternoon. This worked well and had me going all day. I would then finish the day with the second shake and support dose at night. But since I have few MMV2 left I am only taking them pre work out. I have been taking 4 pre w/o and that works well. Gets you all revved up but not in an overly caffeinated way. Plus the muscle endurance has been great.

And cardio? Ugh. I am not a big fan. I do 15 minutes to get warm and then hit the weights. Though I have been doing 30 minutes on my bike at home before breakfast on some random days. It goes fine. No issues or anything to really report.

My lifting schedule has been fairly consistent for quite a while. Its a 3 or 4 day a week split. I take any pre w/o supps about 30 minutes before getting into the gym and then 15 minutes on the bike. So that 45 minute window gives anything ample time to start working. Then we lift for about an hour each time. I feel like I could work longer on this combo but there is no real productive reason to go longer. But the endurance factor has been surprising to say the least. I also feel like I could work each body part multiple times a week. But I am sticking to my rotation and its working. I have rotated back to more of a strength routine taking the reps a bit lower and the weight increased. Strength has been great and has really picked up is this 4th week.

I hope that answers your questions. Ask again if I wasn't clear. I hope your current stack is treating you well. I'd like to hear what you think about it for sure.

Like I said, it was out of the norm for me to get twisted with a blonde.

I'm such a sucker for blondes. My recent girl had dark hair... and honestly I am not picky. My dream girl at my gym is a redhead... Haircolor is really of no concern to me as long as it doesn't have a bunch of punk rock pink or purple stripes in it. Ugh... trashtastic. But man, if I have a choice, I almost always go for the blondes. Don't know why, it seems just like the way my brain is programmed. Blondes usually end up being more selfish than brunettes for some reason though. Probably the attention. Not the case with my past girlfriend though, she takes the selfish cake and eats the whole thing.

I just need to find myself a little blonde gym bunnie that likes to cook healthy food. Shouldn't take too long. hahaha... I am probably gonna start working out once or twice a week at the other gym in town, nowhere near as "hardcore" as my other gym, but the scenery is much nicer. :D I guess it's just up to me to make the gym "hardcore".

BTW... what a perfect time to be single... just in time to get ripped for summer. No more bad food cooked by the girlfriend (I swear to god she was trying to sabatoge my gym goals).

I'm glad to hear that this recent break up is a glass half full type of situation for you. Move on to younger, hotter pastures. You old stud you.

The gym bunnie criteria sounds good too. Likes to cook healthy and wants you to be as jackt as possible. And a hard core gym that has no scenery is sometimes over rated. Thats how my gym is. A bunch of iron smashing dudes and very few chicks worth sneaking a glance through a mirror at. There is a gym across town from me that is the total opposite. One of those no chalk, no grunt, no sweat gyms. But every chick who trains there is pretty smokin'. the price you pay. I kind of prefer the gym where I'm at. The other spot is just a place to try and scam on chicks and look like a douche while dropping a 45 on your face while doing a bench press. Idiots.

And red heads? I dated a red head for a while. Animal! Though most red heads that I have known tend to be a bit wound up. But in that good way. But you figure if you put them all in a bag and shake it all up, the kitty always comes out the same. ME-OW!
 
SHOULDERS

Shoulder day was solid. Pumps were on the border of painful in the front delts. Took 50 mg H-Drol pre as well as 4 MMV2 with regular supports and protein shake about 45 minutes before starting.

Started with a bike warm up as usual. Then got a good stretch in.
Went to seated DB presses. Warm up set with 65's for a set of 12. Starting to feel good at this point. Went to 75's for 12, 85's for 12 and 95's for 10. The hardest part is getting the DB's to the starting position. But the work went well. Felt a good pump and was strong through out.

Went on to side laterals. Used light weight and really forced a pump. 3 sets and they were warm now. Very good pump going on.

Moved onto front plate raises with a 45 and a drop to a 25. I was shooting for 12 reps with the 45 and 12 with the 25. Arms straight out with no cheating. These are deadly if you don't really do them like I haven't been. I'm starting to get used to the area they work and its starting to feel good. But if you need to change up your front raises I highly reccommend these. I know most gyms have 35 pound plates as well so that makes a even more deadly drop. When I have those available I would go for reps of 10, 10,8. But with just the 45 and 25 here I go for 12 and 10. Fewer reps but still smoking at the end. Needless to say after the 3 sets were completed I was HURT! This is where the pain started to kick in. And I have yet to find a way to stretch out my front delts when they get that tight. Just time to relax is what works. But I tried to stretch as best I could to move on.

Then we hit rear delt on the pec deck. I like this because it keeps the form tight as long as you keep your elbow rotated up and even with the handles. Did 3 sets of moderate weight to try and balance out the pain from the fronts.

Then onto a superset of seated side machine laterals and more seated rear delts. 3 sets of each looking for a good pump in both areas. That was achieved and we moved on to seated over head machine press.
These were done heavy while trying to still grind out 10 reps. This was tough because of the pump that was going on but I managed to complete the sets. Ended up racking the machine for a final set of 12. Thought my shirt was going to blow off at the shoulders. But I like the machine because it focuses the work on just the shoulder while taking that effort of stabilizing the weight away. I don't use just machines for that reason but I like to use them towards the end when the muscles are tired already.

Then we went to up right rows to hit the side head and traps a bit. used a 80 pound barbell and did 3 sets at 12 reps each. The sides were feeling it as well as the traps getting some additional work.

Finished with a super set of DB shrugs and hammer strength shrugs. Did the DB's first. Used the 100's and got 20 reps for the 3 sets and followed right after with the hammer strength as a burn. Felt it right in the middle of my neck. Serious burn and traps were toasty. I don't do many things for my traps as they respond pretty quickly to work and the other shoulder stuff that I do has them working as well.

And that was the day. Felt really strong and endurance has been outstanding. I am starting to feel a bit dry in the joints. The elbows and one shoulder. But other than that there are no issues. Libido is still fine, performance is no issue. If I could find someone who wants to perform at least! Married life is awesome! Especially when the kids come in during a morning surprise session and that gets promptly shot down. Oh the anger. But if thats my biggest problem I'm a lucky guy.
This is the last week of this cycle and I feel it has been productive. My weight has gone up but my recomp is noticeable. Starting to get muscles to stand out where they have never been which is nice. Clothing is changing its tight spots so that is a measuring stick. I'll have some PCT questions to ask but that will be at the end of the week when I am going to order my PCT stuff.

Until then I'm off to eat and enjoy the day.

All going along with this will be continued cycle support, a scoop AM and PM. This is seeming like enough because I am having no sides and all functions are still on. I will throw in Lean Extreme as a cort blocker around day 15ish. Comment at will.

I'm probably going to pick up some Anadraulic State and T-911 when I can get my hands on it. I did go to my local GNCrap and the kid behind the counter had never heard of the product. This after the muscle head who worked there told me that the other guy knew everything and went on his break. So they had none and he never even knew that GNCrap was running that promotion. Strange. So I looked at how over priced the rest of the products I use were there and left.
But I will run that stuff after my PCT wraps up. Probably in about 6-8 weeks from now. So thats that plan.

I wasn't going to buy from GNCrap but wanted to get a look at the stuff and see what they were spitting out about it.

If it isn't at Nutra by the time I am ready for it then I'll order from LG directly. How does the PCT lay out look to you? Know anything about this Formex? I did some research and it looked good to me.

I have no idea about Formex. Sounds intriguing, most formestane use is transdermal though, since it's oral bio availability is crappy. I use serm's myself, but this Hdrol/MMV2 is kinda walking the border of needing a serm and not. Your bodyweight is what makes me think that your doses would be "ok" to go sermless. At my bodyweight that amount, mg for mg, would make me side with a serm at low doses. I'm sure you'll be fine though.

I had forgotten that we talked about a serm so much, I wouldn't have even brought it up... whoops. Honestly, I probably wouldn't bother using a serm myself if I was running a light Hdrol cycle. above 75mg is different for me than it is for you at our bodyweights, so my opinions are usually based on what I would do for myself, but it really isn't the same in this case.

How are you leaning out on the halo? You notice a recomp?

I'm glad we had all the discussion earlier. It really put me in a different mind set as far as looking at PCT as a equal if not more important time in the cycle. You can bring up whatever brother. Sometimes I need a kick in the ass to break out of my stubborn mind set.
And I think you are right on with your assessment. Bodyweights and personal effect are really the key variables. It's all good in the hood!

And I am feeling tighter across the shoulders/chest. My belts are looser. So something is moving around. Though the scale shows a weight increase it isn't in the fat area. Much improved strength and endurance for sure. I think if I really kicked my own ass diet wise it would have been more pronounced but this has worked out well with the addition of the MMV2. Very nice!

I am enjoying the fact that most of my shirts are fitting me tight in the shoulders and arms, but loser in the belly. I also like the fact that my 34" pants are starting to get a little roomy. I still remember years ago when my size 40" pants were starting to get tight. I would have never thought I would wear a size 34 again.

We are the same with our diet issues. We know what to eat but have that hard fact of actually doing it. I think the family thing makes it harder to stick to that regimented schedule. I am working on it but its a work in progress.

And these two coumpounds together are working very nicely. I think if a very strict diet was followed I would have obviously made better gains but I am very happy with what I have gotten out of this. I will keep the MMV2 in my rotation for future uses and will be in on the MMV3 when I can sample that.

Tomorrow is back and bis so I'll check in with that report.
 
BACK/BI'S

Solid.
Back was strong. Major pulls were pushing new numbers. Had a great pump just from my warm up chins.
Hit Hammer strength pull down for 3 sets ending with 3 plates and a 25 on each side. hit a set of 8 reps! About blew my head off on the last 3 reps.
Went onto some pull downs behind and front for a forced pump. Then to T-bars. Hit these heavy and hard. Ended with 5 plates 12 reps. Again about to pass out. But felt really strong muscle connection and a great squueze and stretch. Back was worn out as I am right now.

Hit some ab work in between. Did some stupid ball leg raises where you hand yourself the bigball and the reach over your head with it. Looks ridic but my abs were on fire.

Then went to arms. Started with one arm preacher hammer curls. Banged out 3 strong sets. Had the crook of my arm on fire.
Moved to standing one arm curls. Made those happen and the arms were throbbing.
Ended with BB preacher for an ending pump. Bi's felt like they were stretching right then and there.

Had a good day. Tired from doing some home stuff yesterday so I am lazy right now. But this is the last 4 days of this cycle. It has been successful for sure. Added some good lean while rocketing strength and making my jeans a bit saggy.

I am on Silver's train of thought though that the next time I'm in I will make an all out assault on diet as well. This time the diet was not crazy. High protein but cheat meals were mixed in as well. Next time I will make it more of a priority to focus in on the diet rather than on the result of training heavier and seeing how the compounds react. I really enjoy the reaction of these 2 compounds and can see that if the diet is tuned in the results will be great.

But no sides to report. Lethargy has been consistent and the back pumps are here. Not terrible but annoyingly lingering. And these were known entities so I am not surprised. I am ready to go forward to PCT starting sunday so then its on.
 
CHEST/TRIS

Last working day on H-drol and MMV2. So sad. How time flies when the muscle is being hammered. Took the usual dosages before going and got it on.

Started with the SMith incline's. I am feeling a bit dry in the joints and stuff which is to be expected. I have upped the fishie and joint supps so it should work it self out. Worked up to a final set of 3 45's on either side for a strong, almost easy set of 10! Felt really good. I didn't want to push it too far because I still have that feeling of my pec twinging in the back of my head. But the set of 10 was pretty awesome.

Moved to cable crosses for 3 sets light to force a deeper pump.
Then went to DB's inclines. 3 sets. 80,85,90. 3 solid sets of 10 each. Chest was really pumped.
Hit some flies next. same incline. 3 sets of 12ish. lighter weight but really stretched and squeezed. Felt good to get that stretch in too.

Went to dips. for the first time in a long time I was able to complete 3 sets of 10 reps each. Very surprised. this makes me think that if you ran H-drol longer, like 6 weeks or so it would make a huge difference. It is a slow starter so if it was to be taken longer the effects could be huge.

Then finished chest with pec dec flyes. Set the seat high and squeezed the death out of the lower chest. Chest was spent and I was almost as well.

And today i felt the MMV2 kick later than usual. It really started hitting home during the flyes portion of the routine. It stood out as odd because I was starting tri's and then my head was like, BAM! Here we go!
But we hit the ropes, 8 sets of 8. I moved the weight up so its on the 9th plate. Getting serious. But I was stoked to be able to make it through the sets and my arms were about to explode. I had one of the better pumps ever after todays workout. Straight up awesome.

So this is really the end of the hormonal part of this run. It was pretty frickin' sweet. The MMV2 is flat out awesome! I liked it spread out throughout the day but more so as a pre workout kick start. Take 4 of those about 30 minutes before take off and look out! The muscle endurance and recovery time was outstanding with these two. The H-drol as suspected took around 3 weeks to start showing its face. But once in is ready it is a good time. The pumps, recovery and strength gained is awesome. I would reccommend this to anyone who really wants a solid recomp combo. If I had been more focused on diet and consistency with my food I would have gained more of a recomp effect. From just keeping my protein high and other wise eating normally I have had my belt come in a notch and my shirts are more snug in the arms and chest. But I can imagine that on a serious cut these two would be perfect.

So I will be in during PCT which is starting tomorrow. I am hoping to keep all the muscle I've gained and will be slowly changing my diet towards a cut. Nothing drastic but AZ has me thinking about cutting carbs out of my last 2 meals. Low carbs makes my brain go crazy so its tough but for the last 2 I can see it happening. That way I can go to sleep and not be that nuts with hunger! So we'll see. Slowly but surely is how its going to be for a while. The next thing I am itching to try is the T-911 and Anadraulic State combo. Once that is available at Nutra I'll be snatching it up quick like.

Awesome cycle and log MattyO. You have inspired me throughout and make me want to give H-Drol a shot one day, but I will definately do the 6 week run if I do. :-) Looking forward to seeing your your PCT goes. If you do it right you should continue gaining strength for the first week or so!

I appreciate that Silver. You have given me some solid motivation to keep pushing as well. And you even got me thinking of some dietary changes as well. You are more motivating that I think you realize.

And I am anticipating a smooth transition into PCT and beyond. Keep the gains coming and the muscle growing. I have your problem too. I can't be happy with myself moving a little weight a lot of times. I need to figure something out to help my sanity in that regard. We'll see. Kills me to struggle under a weight that I used to rep out because I am dieting or changing a routine. Stupid ego.

It was a good run if I do say so. I'm not totally sure where the scale stopped but it was hovering higher than I would have imagined. At an all time high actually. 310ish?? But my pants were loose and shirts are tight so I'm not freaking out. I feel much more dense and solid.

And the PCT set up is ready to go. I got some Formex and some Post Cycle Support ready to roll out along with cycle support and the rest of my supports. I'll be ordering some lean extreme for cort. control around day 15 and then run it till its through.

And your no carb idea for the last two meals is really got me thinking. I would like to drop to around 270-80. I hate the weak feeling that comes with cutting carbs out but I think the last 2 meals shouldn't sap me right out. And if I do get to feeling bad I can just go to bed! It can't make me as lethargic as this H-drol did so it will be like to difference.

YOu have a good idea with your stack too. I will wait for a bit and run that stack as a natty summer time trip. That should get you some good strength and keep the diet right. You must be feeling pretty good though. 206? Getting able to be see some good definition or what? Awesome.

That is awesome you are up in weight and leaner - THATS THE WHOLE POINT!!! Good job!

Just keep that diet in check. I really am noticing how much different I feel when I eat clean and when I don't.

I bet you are an animal on the flag football squad. How quickly does it turn to flag/tackle? Guys get all excited and start reliving their linbacking days on their high school team. Gotta love it.

And I am going to focus now on PCT and a cleaner diet. I can totally feel the difference when I eat good stuff. I almost feel groggy when I eat junk for a consistent amount of time.

It's pretty much full contact except for the person with the ball. A flag being pulled usually ends up with someone hitting the grass anyway. In our league I play wide out and tight end... not big enough to play line, and not good enough to play QB :lol: , I really like tight end... you pretty much get to do everything from hit people to scoring touchdowns. Wide reciever is ok, but it's a lot of sprinting for me. haha.

I feel like I could use another 20 lbs though to play tight end correctly, I just get ran over by some of the bigger guys playing defense on other teams.

I might not play next season as it really takes up a considerable amount of my free time.

Your league sounds much like the one I was in. I was about the biggest guy running around out there so it had its pros and cons. Chasing those little guys is tough but catching them is the pay out. Out of bounds means there's only one way to go. BANG!

But you would make a good tight end. If you have decent hands and some speed you are in. And some leverage and proper body position makes up for pounds a lot of time. Technique is huge.

And I only played one season for that exact reason. Too much time!
 
I just joined a softball league at work... bunch of fat old men and gangly girls struggling to pick up a composite metal bat. I just try my hardest to murder the ball, and run over the catcher.

I played in a softball league too. Also a lot of time. Like 2 or 3 games a week. the later games were tough. 8 starts. Luckily there were no girl requirements. I can't stand watching chicks trying to swing a bat. Horrible.

I tried to murder the ball too for a while but found that peppering the bare spots served me better. Singles and doubles and then the occassional big rip for the deep ball. We had a no contact rule though. So crushing the catcher was frowned upon. But we had a few collisons. I shouldered this old man right off his feet into the back stop one time. They were not happy. Pay attention old man.

I think thats the key to getting out of a slump. Hit a rocket at a chick and run. I usually see girls as catchers because they don't really have to do much.
Hit it at the chicks and then hit on them after. Sorry baby, had to do it. Wanna play with my bat?
