Hey All,

New person here, well not totally new been reading enough of the posts to know there are some pretty knowledgeable people on this board.
Anyway just got my results back and wanted to see if you guys could help me out with the results:
Testosterone Free 173 Range 250 - 1100 ng/dl
Test Free 45.2 Range 46 - 224 ng/dl
Test Bioavailable 94.9 Range 110 - 575 ng/dl
SHBG 10 Range 8 - 48 nmol/L
ALbumin, serum 4.6 range 3.6 - 5.1 g/dl
FSH 1.8 Range 1.6 - 8.0
LH 3.4 range 1.5 - 9.3
Prolactin 4.6 range 2.0 - 18

I am 39 years old have done AAS when I was in my early 20's never felt right since I went off them about a year and a half ago was prescribed TRT I did it for abotu 6 months then was prescribed HCG. I never went back on TRT due to soem personal reasons mainly lost my insurance when I changed jobs and androgel without insurance is close to $300 a month. Anyway I was feelign like crap plus has soem pain in my testes so I went to urologist he did blood work and this is what came back. Originally he was going to prescribe Androgel again I said I was not sure if that was the course I wanted to take so he said then lets try clomid.
Anyway before I was put on TRT my Test levels were high 300's.

Any thoughts if you all think clomid is a good direction for me?

.

Clomid will show if your condition is primary or secondary. It's not good for long term use because it's hard on the liver. If you respond to it you'll be a good candidate for HCG. With LH at 3.4 I think you will.

Good answer we use clomid to distinguish primary vs secondary.
If you are under 26-28 years then it can be used to try to restart, but people taking it long term it can have severe side effects. If you test postive on clomid challenge and are up there in age where you will not recover naturally then hcg would be the next step. If you are vitamin D and E defieinct hcg will not work to its full potential.

I was under the influence that HCG can also be used to restart your system. Am I incorrect?

Hey all thank you for your replies

I did not want to go on this permenantly I am just trying to figure out if Clomid could be a possibility of helping me to the extent where I would not have to go back on TRT. So if I read this correctly I may be too old for this to work?

Thanks

That is an interesting lab that did your bloodwork. Weird labeling method. I have never seen it.

I wouldn't use clomid for your situation.

BALifter please enlighten me. What do you think is weird about the labeling? Ranges? type of tests? Also please share with me what protocol I should be using? HCG? I have an appointment with an endo in June and would really like start researching possible protocols. Also I started on the clomid like urologist prescribed and will be getting blood work doen at the month mark.
