best time for creatine?

is it best to take creatine before or after the workout. i have been told to:

A:take it on a time based schedule spread throughout toe day, regardless of when you exercise

B:take it before you exercise

C:take it after you exercise

D:experiment and see what works best for your body. (????)

so know i will ask some people who I honestly believe take their bodies a little more seriously and know what is best,....(that would be you guys) to help me avoid wasting my money and my supply of creatine.
 
There are three optimal times to take creatine: 1) First thing in the morning in a fasted state when the muscle cells are like sponge, dense with enzymes favourable to nutrient absorption; 2) Pre-workout, so that the workout itself provokes the efficient uptake of vital nutrients; and 3) Within 90 minutes post-workout, to take advantage of the so-called Anabolic Window of Opportunity when glycogen stores are depleted and the body is in an optimal state for anabolism.
