CE2 Hi-Def

I just started taking CE2 hi-def and looking over the dosing it doesnt seem to add up to what ive been reading about (although limited knowledge that might be)

Basically ive heard at LEAST 5g of creatine is recommended, like a staple. But the dosing in CE2 gives about 3 grams of creatine a day only. With the other added ingredients such as the BA and themo-rk it totals to slightly under 5g.

But thats not exactly 5g of creatine. Is there something im missing? Should I or is it safe to increase the dosage to get 5g of creatine out of this product? Im not sure what the consequences of increasing the dosage of the other active ingredients would be however.

the only thing i can think of is the beta alanine... the tingle might be a little too much ..i enjoy an intense BA itch, the raspberry ketone is a thermogenic supposedly.. your body temp could go up undesirably.. i would gradually go up in the dose and see how your body responds

Not a bad suggestion.

Although I was contemplating my completed stack earlier and I was tossing the idea around of replacing Black Powder with Jack3d. While I really think Black Powder is a good, it really doesn't give me that Alpha and intensitity feeling like i should be lifting the machine instead of the weight I got with another product I used along time ago.

I really think that super intense focus and energy helped my workouts immensely and from the reviews i've heard jack3d could very well deliver.

Also Jack3d contains 1.5g creatine if I recall hearing correctly. Witch would as an added bonus bump me up to ~5g total creatine for the day with CE2.

The idea behind the 5g of creatine a day I believe started when the delivery method was just an insulin spike with a high GI carb. I think there is probably some synergy in the newer products with less creatine so that although they use less, less is wasted or turned into creatinine.

Interesting thought Blue, never looked into it much, perhaps I should.

But if jack3d does what it says, I should be at 5g now anyway, so think im covered now either way.

Btw, I read/followed your vdiet-10/10 log and enjoyed it. I only lasted a week and a half on my vdiet before I cracked, but the 10/10 im doing now is going well so far.

Just trying to keep the stack simple, so ill prolly end up with:

No2 Black
CE2 Hi-Def
Jack3d

And some BCAA when I get to the gaining phases. Std vitamins/fish/protien applies. Just trying to keep it relatively simple yet give myself an edge as im fairly new to lifting.

I agree with keeping it simple, especially new to weights. I've been training a kid for 4 weeks now and by just getting him in line with a good post workout shake, he's put on 5 solid lbs and gotten much more vascular. Pick something simple you can stick with and run with it for 12-16 weeks before you go changing things. Make sure you focus on technique of your lifts before trying to pack on tons of weight to each lift. You can't get bigger or stronger if you're injured.

Are you taking Jacked along side CE2? The creatine in CE2 is ethyl ester. The Jacked is monohydrate. When i went in a sup store i was going for C monohydrate but the guy told me EE is better and has less water weight. He also told me ethyl ester is better so you don't need 5g. I'm not sure I buy all of it but CE2 did increase my endurance. Another thing to consider is all the meat you do or don't eat (pork, beef, fish etc) has creatine in it as well. So that 5 or so grams you are trying to meet you might be getting anyway.
On the other hand if you are taking Jacked I don't see why you would waste money on CE2 anyway.

Some of you're post is interesting.

The rest I don't understand.

I've also heard EE is better, some people think its hype, its really hard to draw the line in my opinion. As for the less water retention yes, and as well with the hi-def formula that's amplified its supposed to hold no water at all basically.

But aside from that I dont understand your comparison with CE2 and Jack3d. CE2 is obviously a staple creatine suppliment with thermogenic qualities (for the hi def version). Whereas Jack3d is a preworkout suppliment, meant to give you energy for you workout more or less. It contains creatine but only 1.5 grams max, and that's certainly not a sufficient source. I see no reason why would would replace the other.

That being said does anyone have any insight on combining the Ethyl Ester with mono. I cant imagine it matters much? specially in such a low 1.5g dose.

The Nut Facts say 3166mg or something close. Is that all that fall in that area as a whole (Beta Al and Arg) ? I guess I figured it was over 3 grams. Plus the servings are conflicting, some say 3 scoops and one says 1. At any rate jacked has the monohydrate so you might still get some water weight, but yeah supposedly there is a reason why CE2 only delivers just under 5 according to the VitaShoppe rep. LOL especially since every Supplement company tells you to take more of their product than you actually need to. Honestly if you haven't taken CE2 before I'd not worry about the amount if you take to the effects like the majority of us. My bottle has lasted me for 6 months because sometimes I only take the 1 pill instead of the 2 in the morning and my endurance is doing fine(for my body). The energy is still there for my cardio after I've finished the lifting that same day. And I don't stack anything else except for protein. You should be flipping over cars with what you've going on. haha

Thats the idea on adding Jack3d in.

I want to walk in, and hell for that matter even out of the gym feeling like I should/could carry my car home rather than drive it.

If you can walk out of the gym feeling like you could carry your car home, you need to step up the intensity bro. When I walk out of the gym, I want to feel like I just got ran over with a car.
