Problem with product?

I have the muscle juice weight gainer at home, and my one tub has a different odor then the other. Also when I take one no problem, when i take the weird smelling one i get monster head ache behind my right eye, and get a congested feeling in my chest. when i say weird smelling i dont mean its emitting some moldy weird smell, it just has a little bit of a different smell. any input is appreciated. or am i just a :crackhead: lol
 
Anytime I've had a head ache behind my eye it was a sinus head ache and your right....................MONSTER. Dump it out and take the stuff that doesn't do that. Check expire dates too.
 
yea see I have a head cold and thought sinuses were the culprit. But when I don't use one protein I'm fine for over a week, I take it then 2 hours later the symptoms come back. What kinda things can go wrong with protein powders?

All depends I guess. If it gets wet I suppose bacteria could form, if it gets heated, it might break down. Did you spill anything in the jug?

The bottom line is you shouldn't feel like that after using it. Are you allergic to milk, soy, etc? If so, find a different protein source for your powder. Are they from the same source protein?
 
i'm not familiar with the brand but did they recently change the formula? at one point, I believe AST changed the formula of their isolate and I couldn't handle it anymore -- either that or Gatorade changed their formula (cause that's what I mixed it with).. in any case a tiny formula change can impact the flavor..

also like someone already mentioned, check the dates -- when were they manufactured? are the dates far apart?
 
yea I just threw it away, I'll just stick with what has worked for years. Guess homemade weightgainer is the way to go. Thanks for the help fellas'
