Marijuana and Bodybuilding

How come so many hits on this thread.... Arnold would like to join in... He didn't have any problem growing while using..:toofunny:

hell yeah, i got so ripped from knife hits one time i actually had a panic attack and started to black out. this was even with 3 years or 4 years of weed smoke under my belt. god i love. it

what's a knife hit?
 
Two long handled knives are heated over an open flame until they are red hot. A large bud is laid on one of the knives and immediately pressed with the other one, this produces copious amounts of rich, cool, smoke. The knives have to be clean of any electroplated finish and you have to have enormous amounts of large buds to use it. It can be pretty impressive at a good party. The entire area fills with smoke, you can catch a buzz just by standing near.

i wouldnt use the whole bud. if you have a bud thats a gram break off a little piece and rool that **** up into a ball... (does not work very well with shwag though, its too dry) but yeah roll it up into tiny balls and get a styrofoam cup and tape some ice up in that bitch and cut a hole in the bottom of the cup. place your lips around or in the hole you cut and inhale when the smoke funnels in, you got yourself an ice catching hard ripping machine there. dont touch the blade to the styrofoam though, that will definatley burn the foam and your lungs!!!
 
I think if used right mary jane would be very useful for those of you on a strong cycle helping to come down if ur raging a bit.Plus if ur trying to bulk, i know when im eating every 2-3 hours i loose all appetite.Plus for sum of you its safer im sure than some of the stuff we have put in our bodys.

i like to think the italian mafia might have sold drugs, but never used them for a very good reason. i'm sure some guys did but i doubt they were able to keep their composure for long. i also imagine there were those who did it "once in a while" but for the most part they didn't like associating themselves with drug trade or drugs in general. takes a lot of self-control to indulge yourself "once in a while". it varies from person to person and if you're one of those people that can really do it once in a while, go for it. my personal opinion is if you have time to do any kind of drugs on a consistent basis, you either don't have enough responsibilities or obligations,therefore leaving you with way too much spare time.

.....i smoke every day....i also have a ton of responsibilities and obligations......i also drink a lot of coffee and some beer.........i pay all the bills in my family......and do it with pleasure....... its what is expected of me..........peace...
 
Some people have no experience with altered states and thats okay. There are millions of responsible, intelligent people that get high, lift weights and contribute in a positive way to society. Im not defending it or endorsing it, just saying that there are people that have an ill-conceived, naive and erroneous concept of what it is.

i was merely using the mob as an example. knowbull's post is a view i also share. i should have elaborated a bit more and contributed to that perspective as well. if what you say is true, then kb's post would apply to you.

I covered this earlier, I did a paper in my course "Crime & Delinquency". Students exposed to the DARE program are more likely to experiment with drugs, although a parent can opt them out.

I really don't care who smokes and who doesn't. Everyone's business is their own so long as it doesn't effect me or my family in a negative way.

I think the higher ups in our government would have you believe that MJ is the root of all evil in the world.
And I think that many MJ smokers would have you believe that MJ will magically cure all the worlds problems.
I'm not going to take a pot smokers word on weed anymore than I'm going to take a DEA agents.

I firmly believe that America ought to have permanant polling stations in place for just such decisions as this. I think the POTUS ought to let the citizens of the US vote. If they want it, then so be it. If not, then no.
Or better yet, make sure each state clearly defines their own laws regarding MJ. Then get rid of the federal criminalization. That way if you want to live in a state that has it, move there. If you want to live somewhere that has values to the contrary, then live there.

That said, considerations in the law would have to be made too. Police would have to develop the ability to immediately screen you on the side of the road when it is reasonably believed you are operating under the influence. While a FST/FSM Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus is very effective in determining whether or not you are under the influence of some sort of substance or alcohol, I've never seen a portable breath test for weed which can determine how "high" you are. Then again, maybe it exist and I am simply unaware.

Laws would also have to be conceived. How much can you smoke and still operate a vehicle? What if you consume XX amount of alcohol with XX amount of weed? Is there a formula to determine any compound effects, and a way to test them both scientifically speaking (on the side of the highway). How old do you have to be to consume? Do you have to buy it from a store, or can you grow your own? If you grow your own do you have to have a license? And so on and so forth.

The short point of my long post is this:
I don't see the problem with legalizing if it is a well thought out, and rational process.
