Hi guys

I need some urgent help please. I've purchased Anabolic Pump and Prime and would like your comments on my current diet.

Meal 1 (7am): 5 Egg whites and 1 whole egg (Omlette) , 1/2 cup oats and 1 scoop Protein Shake (24g protein) and 3 caps of fish oils.

Meal 2 (11:30am): 300g chicken breasts (+-106g protein) and 150g brown rice (75g uncooked) and kumara.

Meal 3 (4:30pm): 300g chicken breasts (+-106g protein)

Workout between 6pm and 8:30pm

Meal 4 (8:30 pm to 9pm): 400g steak (100g protein) and veggies and 1 scoop Protein Shake (24g Protein).

My own stats:
Male
Weight = 63kg
Length = 1.74m
Goal = Bulk

I know my eating plan is not perfect, but it's difficult with my current job. Also tell me when is the best time to use the USP supplements with this meal plan.

Thanks.

You mention that you want to bulk. I would significantly increase your overall calories as well as carbohydrate intake.

I often recommend 45kcal/kg. This would put you at 2835 kCal. Some may argue that that is on the low side but your individual body chemistry will depict your response.

In terms of carbohydrate, I would recommend 5 grams/kg. This would yield 315g per day. This too may be on the low side and again you may need to adjust.

Anabolic-Pump
If you choose to make changes to your diet, please post it up. Or post your ideas up for help. We can manipulate a few things to allow for the requisite changes that will in turn provide many benefits.

If you choose to not make diet changes, i would recommend consuming Anabolic-Pump prior to Meal 1 and Meal 2. Please keep in mind, you may use Anabolic-Pump before any non-scheduled carbohydrate containing meals as well.

By utilizing Anabolic-Pump, you can reap the benefits of higher carbohydrate intake without the less-than-desirable effects of carbohydrate intake such as body fat gain, sluggishness and bloat.

Anabolic-Pump will allow your body to more efficiently and effectively utilize carbohydrate, illiciting a lesser insulin release. This in turn will eliminate the sluggishness associated with carbohydrate consumption as insulin is a Central Nervous System depressant.

Your fat cells will be signaled as full and carbohydrate storage will be inhibited. Conversely, your skeletal muscle/glycogen cells will be signaled as empty. This hyper-saturation will lead to a 'food-pump'. The 'food-pump' is different from conventional vasodialatory type pumps in terms of nutrient delivery and proceeding anabolism. You will also find increased endurance while using Anabolic-Pump due to greater carbohydrate efficiency.

PRIME
PRIME should be dosed as 2 pills with Meal 1, Meal 3 and Meal 4. I recommend to dose with your pre-workout meal as well as your post-workout meal. PRIME is an extreme recovery aid and post-workout is a 'prime' time for recovery inducing agents.

If you have any other questions, let me know!

Hi, thanks for the advice. I'm also going to use Ultimate Nutrition's Iso Mass Xtreme Gainer.

First question, how would I increase my calories? At the moment I'm already stuffing myself or it feels that way. How do I get my carbs intake up to 315g per day? Do I need to cut down on protein intake, because with my current diet I get about 380g per day and I think it should be in the region of 230g?

What do you think of the following meal plan:

Meal 1 (7am): 5 Egg whites and 1 whole egg (Omlette) , 1/2 cup oats and 1 scoop Protein Shake (24g protein) and 3 caps of fish oils. Totals: Protein = 50g , Carbs = 25.3g

Meal 2 (11:30am): 200g chicken breasts (70.6g protein) and brown rice (80g uncooked) and kumara. Totals: Protein = 70.6g , Carbs = 57g

Meal 3 (4:30pm): 200g chicken breasts (70.6g protein) and brown rice (80g uncooked). Totals: Protein = 70.6g , Carbs = 57g

Workout between 6pm and 8:30pm

Meal 4 (8:30pm) : Iso Mass Xtreme Gainer (65g protein, 80g carbs, 650 Cal)

Meal 5 (9:30pm): 200g steak (50g protein) and veggies.

Grand totals: Protein = 306g , Carbs = 220g (should be a bit more due to sweet potato (kumara) and veggies.

I really can't see how it's possible to increase my carbs intake, if you can maybe give me some ideas.

Thanks.

Sorry, i missed this!

Some easy ways to increase clean carbohydrate are to add beans to your meals, incorporate a carbohydrate supplement such as Waxy Maize Starch, among others. Be careful with weight gainers as they tend to have relatively low quality ingredients. Search this site for homemade weight gainers made from Oats, Fruits and other healthier, more effective options.

I do think your protein is a tad high however everyone's individual body chemistry will depict their macronutrient needs.

Try adding a homemade shake once or twice a day, incorporate Anabolic-Pump and you will find yourself tapering-up your dietary intake of carbohydrate.

Before you start the Anabolic Pump, make sure that you have a good diet. Look at this article that I have written about building a great diet:
