dizziness/tiredness during work out

Its IMO the most overlooked general health remedy in society, a lack of veggies and fruit IMO is one of a few reasons for, increased cardio related deaths, diabetes, cancer and decreased egg viability and lowered sperm count. If i eat veggies and fruit i can do wahtever i like and i DONT get sick, no colds, no flu, no fat gain and almost no DOMS if i time my PWO shake properly.

A greens formula is part of the equation, if you can snack on veggies once or twice i day i guaratee that these issues will lessen before dissapearing.

Snack on carrots, with ranch if neccessary.
Eat a salad once a day with lunch or dinner (bowl size).
Snack on celery with peanut butter if neccessary.
Eat tomatoes, if your not big on raw tomatoes try it with salt and pepper or bake at 350 for 10 mins with dill, cheese, sea salt and pepper and a sprinkle of olive oil.
Bananas with spots (fully ripe) are alkaline whearas green tipped bananas are acid forming.
Apples are alkaline, watermelon, lemon and lime aer acidic but have an alkaline result in the body so season your fish or chicken with lemon or lime.
Asparatame is prolly worse for you than the additional calories so drink regular or pop sweetended with splenda if you must drink pop.

Pop, coffee, tobacco, alcohol and medication are very acidic. Often excercise can aggrevate your symptoms when your body is starving of fruit and vegetables (alkaline sources).

Hey bro this may be a stupid question but what about things like orange juice, apple juice and so on. Would they have some benefits I need or no? Thanks for all of your help by next week i want to have a new diet in progress

thats what i was gonna say.

p.s. your diet sucks...LOL how long have you been eating like this in conjunction with training or have you changed your trainign recently...ie more intensity

Probably about 2 months. I cheap a lot though so it is hard to say but my training just started suffering recently. I have actually seen my other people wiht a diet like miine but i just didnt realize what i was missing

Hey bros for the past week or so my workouts havent really been to successful! I wake up around 8 in the morning have one shake (46grams/protein) and have about the spoonfulls of natural peanut butter along with 2 prime pills, 2 diesel test pills, 1 cla pill and 2 scoops of jacked. I have been feeling great driving to the gym thinking what a good workout I will get it. Then I get to the gym get through doing like 2 different exercises and I start sweating like crazy but I always sweat real bad and then I feel like a dizziness feeling come on. Its like I cant do anymore sets because I get all dizzy and like a nauseous feeling. Then about 10 minutes after i leave the gym I am fine. It is not the jacked because today I lifted without taking the jacked and the same thing occured!

I am not sure what is causing this??? Should i tried to get some more carbs in before workouts or something?? Any help will be much appreciated.
I get this same thing. I also have chronic high blood pressure. I have been taking Life support to combat the high blood pressure. also take whole food (veggie & fruit) caps. So as with others I would have to agree what has been said in this thread. Change your diet, grab some whole food fruit & veggie sources, as well as possibly look into grabbing cycle assist/ cycle support/ life support if your blood pressure is constantly high as mine is. good luck!

also fellas one problem I may run into is how costy some of these green supps can be. I am still in college and my mom already gives me a hard time about buying my protein/fish oil/preworkout supp and watever else I decide to get. So I am going to try and use real food first. Would things like adding some lemon juice or lime juice into my shakes work. I also dont mind apples and oranges so i am going to start eating then 1-3 times a day. I alos use to make a shake with one bannana some milk a little bit of honey and sometimes some chocolate syrup. Another thing i am going to try is those big grapefruits my gf loves them so im gonna give them ago!

where can i get the whole food veggie and caps again bro? Also is the life support helping with your blood pressure at all. Thanks for the help bro

Its called Juice Plus. i'm not allowed to link so you will have to search in google. There may also be better or more cost efficient sources. Those are just the kind I chose to use. As for life support, I can say its helping yes. When I take it consistently (I forget alot).

I bought some hawthorne berry(which is in Life support)and it has helped with my blood pressure. It was 127/72 when it before was around 135/75 consistently! I had good results! cheaper route if you just want to buy the hawthorne.

My guess is hypoglycemia. I suffer from this. If I don't get the same amount of carbs/protein 6-7 times a day, I get sick and suffer major headaches. Nausea, dizziness, irritability, its all there.
This.

Why are you training without consuming carbs beforehand?

Hey bro this may be a stupid question but what about things like orange juice, apple juice and so on. Would they have some benefits I need or no? Thanks for all of your help by next week i want to have a new diet in progress

The problem with juices is they are not what comes out of fruit, they are pasteurized, boiled, filtered, chemical added versions of juice but not pure clean healthy juice.
This is why raw veggies and fruit are the best (assuming you wash off the pesticides, herbicides and other shelf life chems).

The thing is these chemicals build up in your body and cause toxicity issues, when you become acidic its horrible for your stomach PH and intestinal flora that are essentially nutrient uptake aspects of eating. It hurts your ability to absorb and fully breakdown food.

Water bearing vegetables are the best, there is no substitute for this and simply put... Man cannot make a better vegetable than nature because nature made exactly what we need already, no more no less. The closer somthing is to the real thing, the better, so why not eat the real thing???

Honestly i uses to be just like you, i used to eat buffalo chicken tenders for breakfast, ham and egg, bagels, chicken breast, steak and lean pork. Id eat some carbs and alot of protein and just take a multi and say "veggies are for rabbits".
I was "picky" and over time developed allergies, asthma, lost muscle and got slightly more BF and less strength.

i needed to sleep more and felt like napping after doing anything strenuous, id take caffeine before big games then just feel wiped and lethargic. I got so acidic that i had gas all the time, my Bowels were rarely functioning normal and my urine was dark. I was depressed sometimes and SORE after workouts for almost at week at times. I had dry skin and scalp, poor cardio and trouble gaining quality mass.

All this went away or lessened with a large serving or more a day of veggies or fruit, snacking on raw veggies once a day, taking a "greens" supp and having something alkaline every meal to balance out the acidic animal protein (chiken, steak, eggs, tuna... etc). Carbs are minimal now but pre and post workout simple carbs are neccesary.

I found it very usefull to supplement Glutamine because glutamine maintains blood Ph levels and increases nitrogen retention (protein synthesis). After adding glutamine my evergy increased and recovery time dropped to one maybe two days, while soreness was greatly minimized and ive seen improvement workout to workout.

I think your are feeling like this becasue essentially you are malnutritioned and that has many causes.

Farmers used to do hard labor for long days and did not need to eat 6-8 meals a day. This is largely goal specific but a result of mans tampering with food.

There is not fast or easy trick to eating healthy, healthy is healthy. You need a balance of protinen, carbs, and fat.
When needing nutritious food there is no better thing than dark leafy greens so do yourself a favor and find a healthy diet that works for you.

You dont have to eat boatloads of spinach but find an alkaline fruit vegetable source and add it to every meal ASAP>!

yup. classic hypoglycemia/low blood sugar signs
dizzy, sweaty, shakes.

either from too little pre workout carbs or high glycemic carbs to far ahead off your work out time
carb crash

if carbs dont fix it see your doc.

Once again thanks for all the help and great info bro. A little update: today I woke up and had 1 cup of oats and then a shake with a scoop of card slam in it. I actually felt great during my workout. Did 6 different exercises with 3 sets for each, chest day. Then did cardio was in the gym for about 1hr 30min. After the gym i went home had my shake made with milk and another coop of carb slam. Then ate 5 eggs with 3 scoops of natty peanut butter. Aftre that had another cup of oats. Later on I went to the grocery and just walked around. Ended up buying a bag of spinach, 4 bannanas, bag of 6 grapefruits, and a bag of a bunch of these little mini oranges i forget what they are called. Then went home and made some ground beef and was worried about the spinach ut i cooked it on a pan with some olive oil for aout 5 minutes and ate it with my ground beef and it wasnt bad at all. Then for snake a had 3 mini oragnes with some yogurt and one more shake before bed. So fr energy was best its been in a while and i felt great all day. Hows this diet look now???????/ I am still gonna add in another shake with 1 bannana and more spinach throughout the day!!

Buddy thats it exactly the best way to do it! You dont have to eat every weird lookin veggie know to man, diversity is good, but find somthing you like to eat.

Make sure your bananas are spotted, they spot when they ripen. Bananas with no spots are acidic and dont taste as good. I usually buy a few that are almost ripe or ripe, and a bunch of not yet ripe so i have a steady flow of ripe bananas.

Its not so much the vitamin content of the spinach and bananas thats the point its having a good PH balance of your food when you eat and in your system. The olive oil is a great healthy fat source and i cook evrything in it when i am not making eggs.

Raw is better so if you like sundried tomatoe and oregano salad dressing its really good IMO, also japanese ginger dressing is really good on spinach. Baby spinach and baby greens are great too.

Dude if you keep it up i promise every aspect of your life will get better, mood, digestion, recovery , strength, growth endurance, energy. Research alkaline foods and make it a point to buy the ones you like and learn to make meals around them.

Do you like bean sprouts and celery or tomatos? they are great too.

Drink lots of water, cut out pop and other sugary drinks and after a few days you wont miss them and be much healthier as they are very acidic. I read that after drinking one glass of pop you need to drink 30 8oz glasses of water to get back to neutral.

I barely know you but i am stoked for you cause i KNOW what a benefit your life will have. Stay on track, and trust me if you can make it a few weeks then when you do go hard one day and miss the veggies you will feel it and want to get back on track.

Can you suggest some online reading about the acidity of food and how to maintain a good balance. I eat a lot of veggies and oats and a lot of good stuff and I cut out junk food years ago but I don't know anything about the acidity factor that you've been mentioning and I liked to learn more about it for when I make changes in my diet.

Thanks,
-MoTiV

]Well there area lot of different things i can post so i will post the most easily digestable info i can think of to a) teach the basic importance of the acid/alkaline diet and b) post some foods within each category.

I found of all the different sources of info on this subject Anthony robbins had a great presentation and cover alot of topics without having to read page after page of scientific studies and marginal infomation absorbsion.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKmrccRHFE0"]YouTube - Anthony Robbins "The edge" On Alkaline Part 3[/ame]

Here is a chart that indicates the differnt foods and which category they fall in.

Keep in mind acid forming foods are not the enemy but finding a balance between acid/alkaline as well as eating 40% protein, 40% carbs, 15% fat
OR 35% protein, 50% carbs and 15% fat is important also.
Meal timing is still important most diets can be followed but you have to pick foods that also consider the PH of your meals.

Cancer cannot survive in an Alkaline environment, also most diseases thrive in this environment.

Eating heathy is not healthy is you only eat acids.

Are you saying that most diseases, including cancer, thrive in an acidic environment?

Can you supply some information on this topic too please.

Greatly Appreciated,

Refer to post #74 above The list is posted and the link at the bottom is the full article. It has partly to do with the fact we are mostly water and acidic water can make red blood cells lose its negative charge, causing clumping, cell death (more acid upon cell death), and severely decreased oxygen transport. In other words its fks everything up big time!

Cool thanks. How come this topic isn't advertised?? I've never heard of this before. All I hear about is fast food and high fructose corn syrup.

Well there are a few reasons.

1) people dont believe in things until it reaches critical mass approx 30% of people have to believe in somthing until it "catches on".

2) it may be that the majority of the sides of acidity are considered mild and tolerable, so a person can "get used" to them and consider living with small issues as if it were normal.

3) there is always a drug, supplement or band-aid solution that makes people think they need that solution and dont bother to ever wonder why they are ill and say "thats just the way i am". Some people get cancer multiple times and dont change their life as if it struck a random unlucky person and it will go away as it came.

4) Society as a whole is riddled with problems that never adress the root of the problem, teen pregnancy, disease, crime, poverty and obesity are largely from a lack of education.

5) MONEY, sick fat people are not usually very happy and tend to be the people who spend the most money. Big corporations make ALOT of money off of the uneducated over weight population.
People always say how much sick over weight people cost society but who pays the tab? not the politicians, not big buisness but you and i, the tax payer.

I am making this post completely off the top of my head and it is largely speculation, why do alot of things happen in this world? Sometimes your guess is as good as mine but i seek out truth and solutions so somtimes you just need to look.

Answer in short, why dont people talk about this? Cause they arent looking for it.

Thanks again bro!!! Without the help you provided with me I would still be leavin the gym after 2 exercises!!!

So ur saying u do not cook ur eggs with olive oil? I always put some on the pan to help with the eggs sticking and I thought it would add a little benfit to the meal? Also ur saying eat the spinach raw correct? Because it i easier for me to eat the spinach raw, just made 5 eggs then just mixed in some spinach and almods and it was actually a pretty decent meal and much more filling. I am just amazed at how much what you it affects your workout and mood. Todays I lifted shoulders for 1hr and about 30 minutes and felt absolutely great. Once again bro thanks to you and everyone else for all the advice and input its only been 2 days and its made a world of a difference.

Ive been there man and for time to time i get lazy, dont shop and eat less veggies and my body suffers, i wonder if its cause im not back from being acidic or just know what living is supposed to be like.
