you're totally right about that!

I don't plan to pig out on Thanksgiving (especially since I have the pleasure of working) but I do plan on having one plate of all the things I really enjoy.

I gotta run to my bank...my girlfriend broke my debit card, haha
 
Being that far under on a workout day concerns me though...especially since my body isn't primed for it yet. I feel really weak today (even though I just woke up), and i'm hoping it doesn't have a lasting effect.

I agree with Crader, get some protein and some good carbs in you and you feel much better!
 
I have thought about looking around, but in our economy right now, I don't know that it's a wise move. I feel disrespected and unappreciated...but i'm also making decent money and have full medical and dental benefits with a 401k.

This is all temporary until my training career takes off....but that is not exactly 2 days away either, haha

Until that time, I guess i'll just have to keep relying on the super generous and caring people that have been helping me out with supplements and such to play around with. Specifically Matt Masuda from MST, and Christine and Matt from RPN.

Well I COULD just eat....but i'll be working so odds are, the food will suck either way. Not saying that our cooks are bad...just that the ingredients they are given to work with sometimes are not the best.

Yeah she was on the phone and for some reason bending it back and forth. It definitely snapped.
 
11/24/08 - Day 50

Overview :I had another fun workout today. I had a little longer than usual being as how I finally had a day off work and (even though this part sucked) my girlfriend had work....so I used my extra time to have a good workout session. Ended up going about 2 hours....but only because I had a serious stretching session.

The day itself was kind of a bummer...but the workout was good. I'm hoping tomorrow as a whole is a little better.

I devised a new warmup that i'm calling "ImpacT 25/25". My warmup was 50 pushups and 50 situps that I was doing religiously. Now I have changed that to 25 pushups and 25 situps...and then doing the "ImpacT 25/25" which is 25 spider pushups and 25 situps with a 20lb kettlebell on my chest.

I saw that....I was thinking of grabbing it since it's so cheap. I was assuming since it's so cheap that it's either being discontinued (there's always a reason to discontinue a product) or that it's a batch getting ready to expire (which always sucks)

I am definitely thinking about that route though!

Designer Supplements is going out of business at the end of the year.
 
haha it's so sad that i'm trying to decide whether I can afford the 9 bucks for the basic cuts...lol. I am so outrageously poor right now. I just made a $230 amazon.com order for christmas presents.
 
11/25/08 - Day 51

Overview :I took today completely off. I was off from work (starting tomorrow I work 8 days straight) and I wanted to be off from the workouts as well. I didn't even do my Renegade25/25 x ImpacT25/25 like I plan to do every morning. I really just wanted to take a day for relaxtion and repair. Naturally that didn't happen (the relaxing part)...but it was nice to say that I tried. Today ended up being one of the most stressful days of the week.

^^^Tonight's Dinner : HomeMade Meatloaf (93% lean beef), HomeMade Mashed (so I know what's in them), Snap Peas, and a concontion I made out of the skins from the potatoes and some spicy cheeses. It was effin' Delicious!! :)



*** just a quick note :
Kept the supplement intake kind of low for today. Within the next 9 days, I am going to go off of Cre-02 until day 90 when I will start back on. During that time frame I am going to be running more Cordygen than I have been recently, and I will be using DCP as well as potentially ordering some bulk leucine to add to my bcaa's. Any suggestions will be eagerly accepted.

Also, Virile Maneis REALLY working...it's really intense. I definitely have hairs growing in that were not there before. I've not even been using it for a full bottle yet :):):)
 
Ahh rest days. Those are so nice. Glad the VM is doing its thing for you. You have enough bottles you should be one hairy beast at the end..lol

Oh my Half Irish/Half Italian genes are making sure that i'm already a hairy beast. We're just hoping that by the end of the 3 bottles...some of that hair is on my head :rofl:

Overview :Only very minor stuff today as I went out shopping for a bit with my girlfriend and her family, and then I had to work. Was thinking about doing some stuff tonight when I got home, but i'm kinda beat up...and have to be up early to head over to my girlfriend's place to have some Thanksgiving food before having to head into work for tomorrow night. It's a crappy job...but someone's gotta do it.

I would do that, but I didn't really want to make the WHOLE day a cheat. My birthday is like 10 days away now and i'm sure between that day, and the weeks leading to xmas where i'm inevitably going to cheat in some of my girlfriends homemade cookies....I am going to need all the lean meals I can get, haha

11/27/08 - Day 53

Overview :Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I'm actually updating this a day late (from the black friday hell) since I was exhausted last night after eating a ton and working and blah. haha. I enjoyed the fact that I let loose a little bit yesterday....but at the same time, I felt all the effects of it. I could feel myself bloating up from the added carbs and it felt awful. Even now waking up I feel like a blob. I will be going ahead and having a good workout in a few. Thinking KBs today. Full session I hope.

In our battle with our local rival yesterday for the "turkey day game", my old high school won 34-0 so that was a plus, haha. At work I ended up letting 5 of my 11 people on staff go home so they could be with their families. I'm sure i'll get my ass reamed on that today when I get in...lol. Fun times :)

^^^Like I said earlier, I really let loose last night. When I got home from work I decided to enjoy a Purple Haze (microbrew made in Louisiana) by Abita. I love that stuff so dearly...and I had a taste for beer for like a month now and didn't let myself have one til last night.



*** just a quick note :
I placed an order at NP last night that is going to be getting me another Gut Health that should last straight through December, a bottle of Leviathan Reloaded which I have run before and really enjoyed a lot, a bottle of Reset-AD which I will run alongside LR so that I am not burning myself out, and a bottle of Relora because of all the great things i've been reading about it. I have had some anxiety issues lately (worse than usual) and since it was a problem for me in the past, I want to squash it now.

This will coincide with the DCP i'm waiting to arrive at my house, as well as my Cordygen products and other MST goodness :). I have built up a fun month-long stack to play with while my Cre-02 is taking a break from making my body something amazing! Exactly one more week until I cycle off for a month.
 
Whoa!

So looking back into my paper log I noticed that I was just about due for a bench workout..which is cool, I dig bench and all. Decided on that instead of KB's.

I was keeping a fairly close grip (just about shoulder width, maybe a little less) most of the time and I have to tell you that right now I have a RIDICULOUS pump in my (I think this is what it's called) Anconeus muscle (at the very bottom tip of the triceps). It is right above my elbow on the outside of my arm...but not so high that it feels to be a part of my triceps itself. I'm not sure if the pic will help you see it or not...but it's WILD! Much more seperation under my arm between my forearm and my triceps than usual.

And I too love me some Abita beer. I've only had Purple Haze once or twice, but I really enjoy their Wheat beer and Turbodog.
 
I'm so split on how I feel about this topic.

1. I'd love for more people to get into Abita beers because I think they are top notch and it'd be nice to see a good company get the credit they deserve.

2. I'd hate for more people to get into Abita beers because then they'd more than likely either lower the quality at some point to speed production...or they'd end up selling off the microbrewery to a bigger company...and they'd just eff up everything!

haha I definitely won't have you beat as you have MILES of head-start on me already...however, i'm doing an alright job (not counting yesterday) of eating alright lately. I'm pretty pumped about that :)

11/28/08 - Day 54

Overview :Today was a good day. Everything felt just about right today. Solid workout, saw my girlfriend for a few, work wasn't TOO awful, hopefully gonna get some good sleep in tonight, and yeah...a good day. Tomorrow should be even more awesome. I am expecting 2 key deliveries :)

As noted earlier, the pump I had right below my triceps but right above my elbow (if thats even possible) was awesome today. I originally thought that was called the "Anconeus" muscle...but after checking it out, I saw that the Anconeus is more so located in the upper forearm just below the elbow. Either way, the pump lasted for another 3-4 hours after the workout too...and then started to reach the soreness stage. I love it.
