Actually seemed borderline legit.

If you were the head of a company like AIG would you pick up big time clients in a Geo Metro and take them to wendys for your meetings? That's just not how things work at that level.

(I'm not excusing their past behavior btw)

I agree. What I don't like is that the press is trying to hold them to a similar standard that a government agency would be held to. The bailout clouds the entire issue, which is one of the many reasons I don't like it.
