I hope to look my best at the AC as well. I haven't really had a large cheat meal in a few weeks. It feels pretty good to be solid on the diet for an extended period.

It's not so much that i've cheated in terms of the kinds of foods that I have been eating. My problem is that I have not been able to tone down my appetite long enough to STOP eating, haha. It seems like i'm hungry more often than not.

Maybe I need to take the normal 4 pill dose of HCSXS...or maybe I will finally try a new fat burner. I've been using HCSXS for at least 6 months now (1 month off), so maybe it's time to give something else a shot. Anyone have any suggestions? :). Right now i'm leaning towards Phenadrine.
 
Have you ever tried making the protein brownie that is in the recipe section on AM? It's actually pretty decent...and i'm sure much cheaper than these in the long run

No I actually have not. I've looked at Beverly Int site for recipes as they have some good ones!! But I have not tried any yet. Technically staying away from it all is best for me. But every now and then i get cravings. I have went to Applebees for desert sometimes because they come in little shot glasses. So enough to satisfy but not gorge on it!!

Yeah a lot of those types of places have those shot desserts now. I've seen them at Fridays, Applebees, Chili's, etc.

The brownie on here is pretty awesome.

LR worked really well for me....i'm not sure why I never went back to that...hmmm. Probably because HCSXS worked really well for me too..and i've been using it since. Maybe a different compound will help shock up my body a bit. I have some Glucommanan pills but they don't work as well as I had expected them to.

Palo Alto is a good company though...maybe you're on to something there...

Then again...haha...maybe I should get some DCP to stack with it. I liked DCP with HCSXS...maybe I should try it out with LR
 
I currently use DCP/Reloaded/ephedra stack.

Im not sure if it was the HCSXS, the DCP, or both at the time...but when I took both together, it was doing a great job at keeping my appetite at bay. I'm guessing it was a combo of them both though since HCSXS works sometimes by itself but not always, and the same for DCP. LR did a fairly good job alone (most of the time)...so i'm guessing taking a month off from HCSXS and throwing LR in couldn't hurt.
 
I have never been lucky enough to have anything work for me for appetite. Oddly going on the comp diet helped for awhile. I would get hungry but then when it came time to eat in 2 hrs I was so sick of the food I did not want to eat. I think after time my stomach adjusted a bit. But now i'm back to starving 24/7.

Those Kashi blueberry waffles are the Jam! I don't even put anything on them at all. I just throw them in the toaster and eat up when they are done. Awesome fast breakfast food.

I usually just toss anything in the house into my chilli...but i'm always down for some recipes to try out! I am awkward in the kitchen in the respect that I can make something out of nothing at all times, haha. I just toss things together...life is a stir-fry :lol:
 
11/4/08 - Day 30

Overview : Well there was a positive and a negative today...and they have to do with the same thing, haha. The negative is that I was over on calories again. It's not really a big deal because I only missed by about 200-300 calories from where I want to be. The positive is that A LOT of this was protein...I mean...A LOT. Way more than I usually take in. I figured that was a solid reason to miss by a few cals...we shall see though.

I went and met up with the woman who owns the gym I will be teaching my Kettlebell classes at soon. She is really nice and we have a lot of the same morals and theories towards the fitness world so I think it's going to work out very well! She is going to start promoting the classes now and we are going to start the first week of 2009! I may be leaving my current job to go work there sooner though. Updates as the time goes by, haha

My workout only consisted of 3 things...and only 1 of them was an actual lift. I did this on purpose today because I wanted to ignite fat burning while getting a full body workout in. I have been doing a lot of physical things...but not much of it has been actually lifting. Today was good for that.

If you recall from "Quest for Success vol#1", I posted a picture of the rainbow cookies that I love so dearly. I believe it was you that said you've never had the opportunity of trying them.

Please note that your Java Lather Soap smells exactly like those Rainbow cookies do. I think it's the almond that gives both of them a similar scent....but yes, exactly the same. I just got through showering and felt like I was rubbing rainbow cookies all over me...and then smooshing peppermint patties into my hair (Virile Mane)

Overview : A few changes took place today. Since my NutraPlanet order came RIGHT before I went to shower, I got to try out my new Java Lather soap and my Virile Mane once I got out of the shower. I will write a little "how I feel" (w/pics) towards the bottom on that. I have 2 bottles of Virile Mane in total...so I am going to track my progress for however long those bottles may last on here, and once I am through, I will order more or not order more based on results. I have a good feeling about it :)

I am gonna hold off on the "big news" just a bit longer until some things around here are more stable...haha. Everything's been so nuts the past few weeks...that naturally it has to end with me giving good news right?! ;)

These are the starting pics for my run of Virile Mane by RPN. At first thought it literally smells (to me) like if you snapped a York Peppermint Patty in half and smelled it. My girlfriend disagreed and said she thinks it smells like cinnamon swirl oatmeal, haha. Either way...I enjoy the scent. Nice menthol feel of tingly when you put it on and rub it in. I used it right after my shower, and right before bed. It was funny because I woke up today and my pillow smelled like it....haha....that's NOT a bad thing.

Also began using Java Lather yeserday by RPN. It smells to me like Rainbow Cookies but I think that's because both are made with a form of almond. Rainbow cookies with almond extract, Java Lather with Almond fragarance. It's a really nice smell...and it does a good job of wakening your senses during the shower. I dig it a lot so far. I don't know about effects on the body at all just yet after only one use....but I do like the smell and the feeling.

** I got a sample of Apido-X from NutraPlanet so I figured i'd give it a shot since I was thinking of trying out something new along those lines anyway. I liked Apido-X. At first it was too strong and I felt like my acid reflux was going to kick into effect pretty bad....but it subsided. Whether that would be a long term effect or not, i'm not sure. I felt clean energy from it and felt warm for about 4 hours after use. That's a short shelf life compared to a lot of others i've tried....but it was a good 4 hours. I doubt it'd be the choice for me...but ya never know :head:

Overview : Other than the whole having to work thing...i'd say today was a good day! I'm waiting on another fun delivery that hasn't gotten here just yet, but i'm so happy with my nutra delivery that it really doesn't phase me right now, lol. Let's just say some good people are sending me a nice package :)

Did some chest and then some random stuff as well. Basically just went with it to see how it felt. I had a good workout overall. I dropped weight so that I could push more reps at a more explosive pace. Felt awesome...like some of my old workouts...only more fun :)

I wish I took pics but I had a delicious piece of steak tonight. It looked so good that I didn't think to take any pics until it was already gone. It was amazing. Sometimes I truly crave a good piece of steak. One way of knowing i'll never be a vegetarian I suppose. I like the principles behind being a vegetarian....but I just love meat so much.

^^^I am NOT a Brown's fan...however, being a big Notre Dame fan, I was excited to see Brady Quinn get his first REAL shot. I'm sad they lost...but i'm very glad that he's in there.


*** just a quick note : Java Lather leaves an almost cocoa butter feel at the end of a shower. I had the water beading up on my skin...very interesting. I like it a lot though.

Its funny because I know it has the undertones of coffee, but it doesn't smell like coffee to me. I smell the hint of honey...and a lot of almond as well...but the latte scent is missing for me. Probably because it reminded me of something right off the bat and that's what I went with.

You should definitely pick it up though..I really like it so far. I bet that stuff could get playpen from Charlie Brown in the shower daily :lol:
 
Note : I am taking today off to get some very much needed food shopping done. I don't have a lot of money so i'm only getting basics...but right now my house is fairly barren.

At work we gave away $50,000 at 9pm. We have 4 parking lots that are all about triple the size of football fields, plus we have valet. ALL lots and valet were full by 8pm. It sucked.

I haven't run that much in a long time...i'm going to bed!!

Overview : This day was a failure. The reason I say that is because I am posting on the next morning and my legs are SORE. I mean...bad. Like, they haven't been this sore in a long time. The reason I say that's a failure is because I didn't work out except for my ridiculous amount of running at work. I took in WAY to little calories to try and keep up with the amount of running I was doing...and i'm paying for it now. I am taking today off since my legs are already in pain and it will be another very busy night at work tonight.

My package arrived which was AWESOME. I will keep updated on new additions into the list of awesomeness and such, haha.

^^^Here is my OFFICIAL before picture for Virile Mane. I took a few others that were posted below but this is an actual perfect overhead shot. You can see that I am receding at the "peaks", thinning everywhere, and right in the "crown" area I am getting the normal pattern balding patch.

*** just a quick note :
Virile Mane in comparison to Revita's DNC-L leave in product is about the same in color, almost the same in consistancy, and feel pretty similar on the scalp upon application. The big difference I am noticing (which is a VERY big deal to me) is that Virile Mane has not inhibited my ability to "do my hair" afterwards. DNC-L would leave my hair greasy and almost like I had used a gel product. For me that was a big problem because it made my hair look even thinner than it already is. I do not have that problem with Virile Mane.

Overview : Another day of recooperation was supposed to be upon me, however, it didn't really work out all that well. I managed to not have a workout so that I could rest up my muscles...but work was insane again so I beat myself up again tonight. ugh. What's worse is that when work is nuts, I can't eat as often as i'd like. Yet another day under cals. Blech. It can't hurt TOO bad since I have tons of fat to shed yet...but i'd rather just hit my mixes where I want them and my numbers level.

Saturday - He works hard for the money (again):

^^^Action shot of me unloading the baler at work. All those boxes were just tossed in there during about 1/4th of my shift tonight. I then had to make the bale, eject the bale, move it off the dock, and re-line the baler for next use.

*** just a quick note :
I am still 100% in love with Cre-02! On days that I can't get a workout in I am seperating them at 1 pill x 3 doses. Taking one with each major meal has helped tremendously in aiding the partitioning of food. The 125mg of Eneteric coated Alpha Lipoic Acid is the culprit there i'm sure :). Either way, it's truly amazing to be using a Creatine in the 3rd month now that still has the same effects as day 1. What's also amazing is that Cre-02 has been helping me slim off water weight...instead of adding it. It's love.

Yeah I'm really amped to see my progress with Virile Mane also! I have only used Revita shampoo and DNC-L which is Revita's leave in product...but after 2 months it didn't do anything for me. I'm excited to see how Virile Mane compares. I will also soon be adding the shampoo by RPN as well!
