lowest bodyfat attainable w/o anabolics

I was curious what would be the lowest natural bodyfat an average bodybuilder could get without using ph, ds, clen, etc. considering they had a perfect diet and exercise.

You can get down to 3% if your 110% committed and you have diet, training, and gear all in order, respectively. Diet is the most important, followed by training. The right cycle is the icing on the cake that will get you down to an extremely low body fat and give your muscles that "hard as granite" look.

ya but i was wondering without gear, because wouldn't you only be able to hold onto the 3% bodyfat while your on the gear/ shortly afterwards and then you would go back to a higher bodyfat percentage? or am i wrong?

Oh, I didn't see the w/o. With proper diet and training, I think that 5% isn't out of the question. Gear would be used to just get that last little bit of fat off. As soon as you stopped dieting, you would balloon back up.

It's actually not that easy of an answer. It all depends on your body type. If you are an ectomorph, hell, you can get down all the way to competition %...

If you're an endo or meso, it's gonna be pretty darn hard to get down to anything less than 8%.

i didn't mean stop dieting i meant once you were off the juice, would your body be able to hold onto that 3-4% bodyfat considering your diet/exericse are 110%?

If you're an ecto, yes. Getting off sauce will just not make you look as hard and vascular as when you're on. If you're diet and workouts are 100%, then you'll have no problem.

FYI, I don't know anyone that can do 3-4% all the time. Competitive bodybuilders don't even go that low during competition. Maybe a few. But most BBs are 6% at contest and 10% during offseason. That's the general rule.

I know a guy who wins his Masters all the time. He's 60 years old, and looks 40. He's 6% all year round. But he's also ecto, and eats around 7 meals a day... you don't even wanna know what his calorie content is... it's nuts.

No, even with diet, it would still come up (if you got it down with gear in the first place).

With or without gear 3-5% is competition ready. With gear you hold much more muscle, but you can still get REALLY low without. Some of the most ripped guys I've ever seen are natural but they just don't have the muscle mass that un-natural guys do.

So it really comes down to diet and training. Genetics too of course.

Repped. ;)
