Thats terrible. Burns have to be one of the worst injuries. I hope he heals as quickly as can be in a situation like that.

Oh no, they are remembered for sure. I can tell you first hand that thoughts of something like this happening are always in the back of a pilot's mind. They are all mentioned in the article.
