wieghtlifting and alcohol

unless i drink heavy and i mean a lot my sex drive increases.

Not true. You're sex drive doesn't increase. Feel free to correct me here but I'm pretty sure the limbic part of your brain takes over when you drink. It's responsible for simple urges and instincts. Such as...I'm hungry,I want to have sex,I'm tired. That is why you're judgement is totally screwed when you drink and you make quick decisions. Thats why you always make the run through the taco bell window at 4 in the morning which ends up being a big mistake.:dump:

My two cents: If you are even remotely serious about making gains then don't drink at all except for maybe a couple in a sitting on occasion. I used to drink all the time my freshmen year. I went about 8 months without drinking and I was making solid gains. I drank the other night and it totally messed up my diet and my body. I was dehydrated all day even after drinking tons of water and it took me days to catch up on sleep.

kind of off topic but how bad is it to potentially drink while on winny (injectable) i know several kids that do this.

1 beer probably wont do much but more than that it can really mess with your blood pressure, liver, and hormones

when it comes down to it you have to know what your goals are. unless your trying to compete just realize there are more things to life than lifting and have fun. not advocating getting wasted every other night but if you miss a meal or something like that it wont make a difference in the long run. its important to enjoy other aspects of life as well especially if your young

Please tell me you're not lecturing trip about phenibut?

Get a clue usf, seriously!

I'm not lecturing Trip about Phenibut. Simply saying "get some phenibut" does not inform the OP about the potential side effects associated with it. Phenibut is great stuff in moderation but the risks need to be clear

What are the sides? All I knew of it was that the body gets accustomed to it very quickly so you shouldn't take it too many days in a row.

all i read about sides on pheni were the hangover which some people actually liked. im still lost on its effect on alcohol though other than as a mood enhancer.

Yes, you quickly become tolerant of it, leading most to increase the dosage to attain the desired effect. While it can give you a "hangover" other notable and most common sides are anxiety and insomnia when used for a while. It can become addictive and has been know to have nasty withdrawls. Granted this is for those that use it frequently over a long period.

I've experienced insomnia from it personally, and a bit of anxiety, probably due to the insomnia. Either way, I like the stuff, I just dont use it much.
