Benzyl Alcohol?

How many people use Benzyl Alcohol in reconstituting IGF-1. Any thoughts/comments why one should use BA over Acetic acid?
 
I'm not sure the advantage to using either or, but if your problem is simply not being able find AA, it's quite simple to make your own.
 
Indeed, I have and know how to make my own. I really just asking the question out of curousity rather than a problem. Thanks for your response though.
 
People started using AA b/c when the chinese generic igf flooded the market, there were several occasions where the fillers would not properly dissolve in BA; people ended up with sludge. So AA use became prevalent, although there is one major retailer who claims to carry name brand igf whose pre-mixed igf is in BA I believe.

so how long is the igf good for in BA? does it need to be refrigerated?
