Well you can get the main book for like $50 but like I said you have to take the same test no matter what program you go through. If it's NCCA accredited than it's the ACE test which is the CBF test I believe so the books are just to help you pass the d@mn thing. l
Like I said its $230 for the test so you def don't want to fail that sht. To retake it is $184..........

Thats right!I remember reading when you're ready to take the ACE test......Might as well buy through them then huh?Well IDK,I may check ebay for that book.Whats it called?

Dave palumbo has an online course called SMART.Ofcourse the title of his column in MD is "bb'ing without genetics":lol:.....Like they'd know who the hell Mr. palumbo is though.I'm going to check that one out too.

IDK but I think its called the Personal Trainers guide or Handbook. Just go straight to their web site and check it out. Maybe your Folks will help you out with the costs??

I don't think my Dads so happy.He's not mad or anything,and even told me I need to do what makes me happy.But then again I'm realy the only worker,and he's got it good with me.I mean I don't mind working long hrs or 7 days a week,and I never have any plans.But mainly,it's all I've ever done,so I'm good at it.The only thing is I'm his son,which def makes it harder for him and me.And I eat every 2-3 hrs.

Yea I hear ya but you think he'll help ya out with the cost if he's in the position too. Maybe you can still help him out part-time or on your off days whatever...which I'm sure you will anyways...If this gym is looking for guys now and you can go to work there soon then you need to get on it and seize the fcuking day! Plus it takes like 16-20weeks to complete this course and take the test and you still will need to get CPR cert before you can go to work as a pt....

I'm sure my Step-Mom could make it happen........Man this gym isn't even opened yet.I told him it wasn't,but he said it is and his friend works/workouts there.Must be in another town cause it is a commercial gym.Plus being that the course takes time,thats probably what they're doing is trying to fill the positions for when it does open.I have seen a now hiring PT'rs sign where they are going to build it........His friends Mom is friends with the GM of the gym.

Anyways I just checked out dave palumbos SMART,and you can do it online.I think it will cost less than $200 when it's all said and done.Not sure though,I just seen a book for $40,and the cert and saying it will cost $120....Not sure what I'm going to do yet,But when it's time to renew you can go to ACE or other top test places to have it renewed.The SMART course seems pretty damn cool though....It gives you all you need to know.Even building clients,supp reviews,exercise myths,and sh!t like that...:think:

I've been to alot of different states,and never have had the urge to move out of Tx.I hated this small town I was in at one time,Valley View,and sometimes I think about moving to Arlington for the metroflex gym.But never have I wanted to leave Tx.C'mon back now ya hear!

I'm really thinking about coming back out there this spring. You need to go to Austin if you haven't been yet bro. Fcuking place is NUTZZZ!!!!!! I saw two chicks straight fcuk each other in the bathroom at a bar on 4th ave., there during Marty-grass a few years back....Man I had some wild times in that city. I even got the Tatt I have on my chest from Atomic Tattoo there....Good times brotha, good times..

So girl gets some loser ass boyfriend who's all jealous..

Believe it or not you bast@rds have me thinking about it. I wonder if my bachelors in health-science will suffice, cause i don't want to take that fvckin ACE sh*t. Pain in the ass.

Is that you in your avi?Bass said he didn't think it is......IDK man.I have read a cert isn't even required,it just looks good.I doubt a gym or any commercial place would hire you without one though.Plus you have to renew every so often.2 yrs I believe.

Actually its my boyfriend in the avi...;) Nah, man of course its me! Took a couple months ago by my good friend, he's a photographer, and he made me look all pretty. I'll check out the certificate crap, because if i need that, then why the fvck did i go to school for 3 years.

Actually my junk is in the picture, but i cut it out for reasons i will state below: Well i thought about leaving my glorious, shining, impressive manhood in the picture and then i decided that would be cruel. You see, if you saw the whole picture, you guys would go the rest of your lives feeling like you weren't really men. And i just couldn't do that to my Doom Crew Brethren.
