Bassgod's Mass Xxxplosion Cycle!!

If you're geared up you can make a lot of training mistakes and get away with them. I read one study, don't know how scientific, where people on steroids did no training and gained more muscle than natural bodybuilders who trained the whole time. lol

 you gotta love da juice!!!

My gym doesn't have a power rack, only a smith machine  yet i pay $198 for 6 months of membership  i might be going to a new gym though, i'm going to see how much they charge. if it's not too much more then i'm changing!!

What??? WTF!! I pay $45 a month to workout at my shtty ass gym and they don't have any hammer strength machines or a fcuking power rack!!!!!
Hey bass WTF I changed my siggy and you ditched your's what up dat???

there is no official approved exercise list. in the DVD Jason states that any exercise can be used, it's just dumb to use any isolation exercises because you can increase the weight by MUCH more on compound movements. why would you want to go from 40lb concentration curls to 45-50lbs, when you can go from 135lb BB curls to 165lb BB curls? he didn't use those examples, i'm just making it up, lol. but you guys get the point. so basically any compound movement would be a good choice, but iso's can be used as well if you choose.

nah bro, you do 2 rest pause sets, not just 1. after warm-ups you do 1 set trying to get between 7 and 10 reps to failure. take 15 breats then do as many reps as you can to failure, then take 15 more breaths and do it a 2nd time. each tim eyou should only get 1/2 as many reps as the time before that. the perfect rep range varies, but more most exercises it's 11-15. if you go past 15, you add weight. if you don't make 11, stay there until you DO get in the range. other than that, you're all good man. yea, the extreme stretches ARE extreme  they're fun! fellow bber's are going to watch you and be like "wtf is that crazy bastadge doing!?!?" at least that's how it is at my gym, lol. i love it!

On the video does he give a time in seconds instead of just breaths? One thing I am looking forward to with DC is getting a better pump. With 1-2 sets & low reps you don't get as much of a pump as with volume training. I'm ok with that because I'd sooner grow than get pumps but I'm guessing DC would give both.

You could buy a power rack for the cost of a years membership and the thing will last forever. Gyms to me are too much of a distraction; too many people to talk to and too many women to look at. Even when I managed a gym and could train there anytime I wanted I still did most of my workouts at home. On the other hand the joke at the gym was that I had more equipment at home than they had at the gym. lol

FOOFAC, it seems that you and I may be long lost brothers or something. LOL We are born of the same ilk, I believe! I also prefer to workout at home. I seldom go to my local gym anymore. I've got an @ssload of equipment at home. Machines and free weights. Training is a religious experience to me. I can't be distracted by a lot of joking around and socializing. I'm totally in the zone when I'm training. It's balls to the wall, or not at all!!:aargh: At home, I control the air-conditioning, music, and the whole atmosphere!! I growl, curse, yell, and spit. It's fukkin' beautiful!! :woohoo: THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:

it's 10-15 breaths or roughly 20 sec. do not FORCE the breaths and do them quickly. take your time, get your oxygen back and chill for those 15 breaths. get up though, don't sit under the bar the whole time or on the bench, etc. stand up and walk around or something. 15 deep controlled breaths. i still take my hemodraulix and the vens and pumps are good. my chest was pretty pumped yesterday after the smith BB bench presses.

Yeah thast what I meant.I just worde it wrong.I view that as one long drawn out set.But thanks anyways.I guess I do got it!I will be buying the dvd tonight.I have been saving like crazy for my depsoits and all and have more money than I thought I did.So it's ordered tonight!!!!

FOOFAC!!!!!!!!!You need to erase your stored PM's so I can send one I just typed up you lazy bastard!!!!!!

Lol it's uncanny TG! "I growl, curse, yell, and spit. It's fukkin' beautiful!!" me too which is another reason why I seldom go to a gym...they think I'm fvcking crazy but that's how I train.

I've had just about every injury you can think of related to weight training, some due to poor form which caused me to become a fanatic about proper exercise form and some were just bad luck such as equipment failure. The stronger you get the more cautious you have to be because when you are able to generate tremendous force a moments laps in concentration can side line you for a longtime or even permanently.
Today was another testament to why I love my power rack. My last exercise was barbell shrugs which I always do in the rack. I was looking for 7 reps with 510lbs and on the 4th rep one of my straps broke causing the left side to go crashing down! Luckily it only fell about a foot before it brought up in the power rack's safety catch. If it had to go to the floor I'm sure it would of tore my right shoulder to pieces because my right wrist was still strapped to the bar. Aside from a purple hand due to the broken blood vessels I came away unscathed and will not miss my next scheduled training session. You can't predict or prevent everything that can happen in the gym but you can be prepared for it by using power racks and the like to keep you out of the emergency room.

I hear you on the injuries Foo! You can tell from my pics that I tore my right pec almost 2 years ago. Some people just can't generate enough force to even do it. I was doing machine flyes with 300 lbs!! Insane!!:fool2: But I've trained so freakin' hard over the years, I'm used to it. I have to kinda hold back some power, because I can really summon it up when I want to! I've also got a torn right calf, and had surgery on my right knee, hurt my left rotator a couple of years back. But I can still train all these bodyparts with incredible intensity still. You can't fear pain or injury, or you will always hold back too much. You have to push past the pain threshold to build new muscle. That's why some guys will never crack the 200 lb. barrier. THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:

I hope my next gym has one of those nice power racks like in the pic foofac poated.Does anyone know if LA fitness has them?Thats the new gym comming to town.Supposed to be cheaper than mine and is definately nicer!

and some of us are vertically challenged TG!!!!
I learn more and more though that weight simply does not matter!Thats why they don't call out weights at bb'ing shows.BB'ing is an illusion. When I was 170 I was told I looked heavier.Thats in thanks to my small joints.Franco Colombo was 5'5" at 185!It was normal for me to be 180 at 5'8"I wasn't fat but could of lost some weight. Now I'm 165 and look much better and every bit as big as I did at 180.
My cousin just told me today he's 155-160.He's toned but skinny!Straight up skinny, and he has an inch on me height wise.So I'm 5-10 lbs heavier, but look more like 20+lbs heavier.I have seen this at gyms too talking to people.I'm either shocked at how little or how much they weigh.

I definitely wasn't implying anything negative with that statement broskis. I started weight-training when I was 19 years old. I'm 6'3" and I weighed 160 lbs. soaking wet. At that height you know I was skinny as a rail! But within 6 months of good hard training, I was weighing in at 200 lbs. My dad told me,"That weight-liftin' stuff must be for you". He was right! I'm just saying that anyone can get big and muscular providing they're willing to endure the awesome pain that goes along with it. It's true when they say, "No pain, no gain"!! You've got to eat right, sleep right, train right, and spit white (that one's for BS-lol)THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:

My post just turned into a ramble. No offense taken what so ever by me.I will beat 200,but it will be hard and take some time.I wont get fat just for the sake of hitting 200.I plan on never going past 14% bf max!!!I hope I never get there actually.
I started at 130 at 5'8"I didn't blow up like you did though! It took some time before I started researching bb'ing and learned how you have to eat lots of food. Then of course it took time before I started apllying it!Then I finally started to grow.

I get what TG is saying and he is right! I don't think it applies to the majority of you guys because you all sound like you train hard. It truly is about what you are willing to sacrifice and having the internal fortitude to complete that seemingly impossible rep where most are not willing to pay that price. I often would become a hermit for a year and shun all my friends and social events just to gain 2-3lbs. I had reached a level where without chemical assistance that was all I could gain in a year and I had to work my ass off for that. Most people though I was crazy to sacrifice so much for so little return but I didn't see it that way. If I could do that every year in 10 years that would be a total of 20-30 lbs of muscle which is nothing to scoff at. Luckily today they have epi and superdrol so you can manage to keep a friend or two. lol

Clean but I'm not an ecto. When I've trained ectos it is almost impossible for a lot of them to take in enough calories to gain on a clean bulk. I also think they need to be spiking the sh!t out of their insulin on a regular basis where as I have to be more precise with my timings or I get too fat.

I'll definately start eating a little dirtier then for my havoc cycle.I haven't trained in 5 days.No cardio, weights, abs, nothing!I weighed my self this morning at 162.5.I don't exactly remember the last time I weighed myself, but it was around 165 and it wasn't that long ago.My point is I loose weight so easily! It's like a walk in the park for me.......

just thought i'd tell all my bro's here that i just got back from a SICKKKKK Hatebreed show here in Johnson City, NY!! it was the LAST show of the Jagermeister Tour! i'm back home on my vacation and am fvckin loving it so far!! bad thing is, i'm beat up a lil bit and sprained my index finger in the pit. i can't lift until i can make a closed fist, so that sucks  i will most likely take a week break from training due to this and because i'm on vacation. it's good to take a break once in a while. when i get back home, it's ON literally! gonna get my swole on!! also, if ANY of you EVER get the chance to see Hatebreed live, GO FVCKIN SEE THEM!!!! THEY WERE AMAZING!! :aargh:

Sounds like an awesome time Brosenstein!! Wish I was there. You have a great vacation and some much needed rest. Then get back here and put your nose to the grind!!:frustrate THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:

BASSGOD - Dont mean to be a dik but did you do a review of this cycle including weight/strength gains, if so what page is it on? thanks.

I don't know bro, it's a long ass thrrad and i'm not going back through to check, lol. I will tell you that I gained 16lbs and kept 12 after PCT. I felt like complete garbage during the last 2 weeks, but strength gains were pretty crazy. Mild weight and strength from the phera and IMO it's not that strong of a compound. The SD however, added 5 more lbs of mass and strength went up a considerable amount every workout. I was shut down pretty good and I would not suggest this cycle to anyone lol.
