NBA Playoffs 08

Ever since Bird and Jordan left, the NBA hasnt been the same. So im wishy washy on the NBA, I like the Nicks, but I like Clevland for Lebron.
 
Go Lakers, but what I'm really waiting on is for 'Melo to get his shiat together. I've been a fan of his since his Syracuse days.
 
IMO, the long and short of this years finals is that the Lakers cruised through the playoffs while the Celtics struggled a bit. The Celtics learned a lot about themselves in the process, when the Lakers "wake up", they'll being playing golf, it's over.

Looks like the Lakers are going to steal the next 2 in Boston to win the whole shabang. Yeah right, it's over tomorrow night. The Celtics seem to be the real deal, but I really feel like the Lakers barely showed up.

You'll be waiting infinitely. Sorry, I'm not a big Melo fan. I can't believe many thought or still think that he is better than Lebron. He is damn good, but I don't see him winning any titles, unless he gets a very strong supporting cast.

Glad to see i'm not the only one that read it that way.

To be honest, i'm glad it's going back to boston. It will be so much more meaningful for those guys to win at home. :)

He needs someone that will whoop his arse into shape and not let him get away with making "home videos" with known gangsters and drug dealers. Something I was reading on ESPN was talking about him possibly going to coachless Detroit?????

It's none of my business how you interpret what I type. If someone was in need of affirmation, there you have it, but in the words of Trauma, let it go.

Maybe the real Lakers will show up, maybe not, but I won't abandon them due to them sucking excessively.:toofunny:

Umm.....I think they still have a few good years left. There is some decent youth blended in with the veterans on the team. It doesn't get much more dominant than that display last night....

I know father time is certainly eclipsing the current yankee team. ;)

I would think Celtic fans would disagree with that (I'm not one). Some nights you just don't have "it" and the Lakers just picked the worst possible time to not have "it". You have to give credit to the Celtics for a defensive mindset that was the best the NBA has seen in a while.
