So i decided to try do a handstand push up today in my bedroom, against my wardrobe. First try was a total fail. I started out with my arms bent and head touching the floor. Not really checking how to do it properly. I ended up in a heap on the floor.
Second try I started with my arms a lot straighter and head off the floor. The position your meant to start in I’ve been told. I managed a half arsed one before my foot knocked a old (heavy) lampshade off the top of my wardrobe, which landed on my shin and almost put a whole in the floor. Epic fail!
Anyway, should I quit while I’m ahead and not bother trying to do them? I’ve heard they’re good for your shoulders and increasing your military press. Think if I do try again I won’t do it against a wardrobe. Anyone got any advice?
