My First ATW Order Arrives Tomorrow

After several recommendations from good friends, I took the plunge over the weekend and placed my first ATW order. I'm usually a chocoholic when it comes to whey, but after reading all the rave reviews of cinnamon roll flavor, and remembering how much I loved them before I started working out, I got few pounds of it to try out.

I'll let you know how it goes, but I'm def. looking forward to tomorrow's PWO shake. If my friends testimonials are good, and I've always found them to be, you've got a new long term customer.

How funny. I am in the same boat. From reading all the reviews, i placed an order for 5lbs of cinnabun. I just hope it is everything everyone says. Also really want to try out the cupcake....oh my

I haven't tried the chocolate yet . . . Since I may be addicted to the cinnamon roll flavor. WOW!!!!

I pulled out the smoothie machine last night, added some ice, water, a bit a vanilla, and fresh cinnamon and let it run to a thick milkshake consistency. I felt almost guilty slurping the thing down, somehow feeling like I'd just gotten a shake from the DW across the street. Only this is a hell of a lot healthier.

Just had another PWO and it was just as good.

Wow protein mixes well with a smoothie machine?

Oh yeah. It does amazingly well. I have a Hamilton-Beach stand mixer/smoothie machine (cost about 30 bucks). I let it run for about 45 seconds on the smoothie setting to pulverize the ice, and it really comes out in a thick milkshake consistency.

The key to the protein mixing well is the water or milk (if you want a richer flavor/more cals.) I use abt 1/3 cup of water and 4-5 ice cubes per scoop, and it doesn't clump at all.

I got the idea from my gym. It has a protein smoothie bar, where they use ice and protein powder to make them. Only they use syrups and rather high sugar flavorings. I thought why should I spend 6 bucks for a sugar-laden smoothie when I can do it at home for a lot less, control the sugar content, and make sure its all real.

If it turns out that you don't like the flavor, I can provide a forwarding address to ensure that the protein is comsu...disposed of properly. :run:

I am in the same boat, I made my first order from ATW yesterday. If I enjoy the taste I will be a customer for life. I had previously been strictly Dymatize, but I really respect the way Marcus has kind of taken over things and the way he has done it. That alone has moved me to try and switch from dymatize, so we will see. I love my dymatize though :D

Looking forward to it though!!
