My "Takamine" acoustic/electric is my baby.
 
A T1 autograph decreases the value, don't except it if you get one! Check for sperm on the auto. If the auto is white, just say no!

I've played since 8th grade, so over 15 years. I actually took music theory in highschool and was quite fluent with it until the last 5 or 6 years. I can play anything from metal to some classical stuff.

However, i seriously prefer metal!! :head::head:
 
I have a ESP EC-1000. Duel EMG 81's, abalone inlays, one-piece with a velvety black cherry finish. I've had it for almost 7 years now and I love it.

Nice. I still have my hunter green stratocaster with emg pickups in there. There is no substitute for the sound quality of an "active" style pickup in my mind.

Couldn't agree more. After playing a guitar with active pickups, everything else sounds bland.
 
crap i missed all this i didnt even went to work today. One of my best freinds got arrested yesterday and sleept in jail for domestic violence, her stupid ass ex gf and got mad cause hes moving away to other city and she wants to go and live with him but he doesnt want her anymore. She broke some things and hit him and he drag her out(lol) to hes yard and then locked her out and called her parents, and she called the police on him, his little brother called me and i went over there and they had him already in handcuffs on the patrol car. I got so pissed cause i know how she is, one time i almost kicked my friends ass cause her ex gf told me he hit her. But her sister(the psycho ex gf sister) told me that wasnt true and he just grab her hands cause she was hitting him. So after they took him yesterday i spend some time with his little brothers and his mom cause she was really upset. Today i woke up early to go to his hearing and see how much was going to be the bail. Then i took him just to cruise around after that i took him to peter piper pizza (i didnt know were to take him to distract him at 12 pm) so he just started criying and i didnt know what to do so i was like chill dude come on were going to have some fun. He criyed for a few more mins and told me how he felt and i just listen and told him everything was goign to be better then told him some homo joke and he smiled and we got down from my car we went to peter piper pizza we ordered 2 pitchers or michelob ultra and 2 large pizzas (ohhh and BTW i cheated on my diet lol) we ended up playing for a few hrs and i drank both pitchers since he doesnt drink alcohol, but he told me he wanted to get a beer or 2. he kicked my ass in air hockey but i kick his on time crisis 2. After that we went to his house picked up the mess the detectives and the ex gf left there. then we played some bball(i felt like i was going to die) after that we watched a movie he likes then his other brother came and we talked till like 1 hr ago.

spending this time with him and his problems made me realize that well everybodys problems are diferents and that i shouldnt be feeling like **** for what happen to me, other people might go to something more dificult and i can help them to get over. Actually i didnt think about(my issues) that the whole day till now.

Ya, sentence structure aside, LOL, that was sure mighty nice of you Z. So what are the penalties your friend is looking at? That sounded like a huge orderal! I was waiting the whole time while reading it for you to say you eventually pulled his pants down and choked one out for him then had a few smoke, drank some beer, and watched his favorite movie...
 
I know I was just saying!

I have not used active pickups because of the battery issue and you lose the unique tone of your guitar, and I love my tones! What other guitars do you have, and amps & effects?

That's the only guitar I have ATM. All I have owned are ESPs in the past and I really don't see a need for another guitar after the EC-1000. My amp is a Marshall AVT 150 Combo. I don't play gigs or anything, so it is perfect for me. I used to have a Digital Crate amp, but it doesn't compare with the Marshall. I am a pretty bare bones player (I am more of a punk rock guy), so effects are really high on the totem for me.

If anything they increase the quality of the tone by reducing hum and interference issues.

I started off with a Fender Stage SE amp when i was younger. Amazing sound quality. I had a marshall half stack at one time, but now that's a distant memory.

I still have my little "Pignose" amp that i jam out on. :D
 
I also still have an epiphone les paul from a long time ago. However, these days i'm usually reduced to playing either my Takamine or Fender acoustics due to convenience.
 
Myth,
Im sure someone would buy some BSN product with big Ronnie Colemans autograph on it. Or some other lifter from who their sponsored by. Its just an idea and we would probably need to whole forum to back us up to do something like that.

I love my Epiphone, I got a semi-hollow as75. I play through a Behringer amp which is alright but I will be getting a mesa boogie stack one day. Wow I just realized guitars and supps go hand in hand, I love epi and can't want to get it through a good stack.

T1 and Rodja, different guitars, effects and amps make completely different sounds so if anyone thinks your gear sucks they are stupid. Don't downplay what you got! Each gives a distinct sound that is "you"!

I suck on acoustic btw, electric only for me!
 
It doesnt need to be BSN just a company with a few well known sponsored lifters. BSN was just on the top of my head.

I love the sound of my rig. The AVT and 81's pick up so much of the tone and the sustain is amazing. The batteries last a pretty long time unless you leave the guitar plugged in when you're not playing it.

LOL i was semi buzzed last night. i just came from the gym i took my friend. He got tired as hell so he went back t his place to sleep a lil more. So yep im back in the gym :D
 
we could do like a gift exchange on certain occasions....
everyone gets a partner and finds some stuff out about them then sends them a supp... we would have to put a money limit on it of course. that way everyone in the club atleast gets one thing...

Myth - we need a secretary to keep all of this stuff organized!

Thats what Yolked Project Manager jjohn is doing LOL! We need to recruit more members!! Thats #1 I think right now. Great we have all these prizes and stuff, but we ned members to donate and recieve prizes!

Fade to black is a great metallica song, but i can think of quite a few others that are better suited for the gym.
