Anabolic Pump/Recreate cutting cycle/log

I think it would do well for the lovehandles and waist, which from your measurements seems to be your only trouble spot. I've never used Napalm but have read a lot of good reviews on it. I did use Lipo Ultra and got good results from it. If you do decide to go this route, I would add in some capsaicin cream to aid in the fat loss.

So I decided to buy a bottle of Napalm, I'll begin it's use as soon as it arrives... I think it should be here early next week. So I read about this casaicin cream, people say it burns like hell. LOL. I couldn't figure out exactly what the science behind it was... something about peppers and joint releif (sounds like icy hot from hell). Well, I try anything once... I guess I'll pick that up from a drugstore.

I also picked up a bottle of MHP expel for the end of my cut... any thoughts on using a diuretic? I know I am not dieting for a contest, but I would love to hit the beach for a few weeks with paper thin skin.

BTW, I already notice a difference around my waist from AP/Recreate doing it's thing. Ever since I have been eating right and taking the right supps (no more name brand "BSN bullsh*t" for me) my physique has been changing before my very eyes. My fat has dropped noticeably on my chest, abs, lower back, and arms. Probably my legs too, but I can't tell yet. My Pectorals feel much closer to my skin as do my biceps. I used to feel a little soft right at the nipple, not gyno, as this wasn't lumpy and didn't hurt (I wasn't a chubby kid in highschool, nor have I done any serious PH, just some M1D MMV2) and now i know it was just fat. But it's going away now, hopefully this Napalm works as well for me as the people that I have read about. :head:

GMG760, could you post up some more diet info such as calories, macro nutrient breakdown, and what ur meals look like? I'm looking to do something very similar to this. I'm considering getting off the Anabolic Diet so that I can use AP due to only getting 30g carbs/day w/the anabolic diet.

Yea, 30g carbs a day is ridiculously low. I couldn't do it, my brain would stop working.

Um, I posted my diet in my first post, it pretty much hasn't changed, I haven't cheated once, and pretty much bought all my food from Costco, so I don't have much variety. Here is my breakdown again though. I'm not really sure of the caloric intake, I tend to be able to take in a lot more calories than most for maintenance. I have to work today though, so I'll look up the Macro-nutrient breakdown and calories either tonight or tomorrow.

Here are my meals though

Breakfast
3 eggs, 3 egg whites, huge bowl of oatmeal, 3 pieces of turkey bacon

Workout
Post workout shake, glass of juice, bowl of oatmeal

Lunch - Chicken or turkey, wheat bread or oatmeal or brown rice

Mid Afternoon - More chicken, turkey, or tuna, wheat bread and som e Peanut Butter/oatmeal/brown rice Perhaps a MRP bar if I am not at home

Dinner - Beef/chicken/fish, steamed vegetables/salad (usually spinach), brown rice.

Late night - Casein Shake, perhaps a slice of whole grain bread and natty peanut butter.

I could use some more veggies, that's my only real comment. I'll figure out my caloric consumption for you later tonight or tomorrow.

That's the way to do it bro! Keep it up! I did my 45 minutes of eliptical cardio today and abs. No run at the beach today, weather didn't permit. Maybe tomarrow will call for another short run, maybe some stairs at the beach, if mother nature lets me get my cardio/window shopping in :chick::D.

Chuffed. lol.:toofunny: I love foreign slang. I'm gonna start saying chuffed now.
 
So it was supposed to be an entire day off for me today, but my friend (who isn't in good shape at all) asked me to go to the gym with him, and I couldn't say no, it would have been incredibly selfish of me. So, I spotted him and worked out my arms because I am completely OCD once I get in the gym and have to be getting my lift on or I have to leave. I can't sit there with all those weights and not move some around!

Anyway, I think I am just going to skip a workout on Thursday this week instead, I am getting more ink on Wed. night, so I'll let it heal for a day w/out drenching it in sweat. lol. So this week is going to be kinda screwy, but I think it will work well. Back to normal next week.

Here is my plan for this week:
Sun - Triceps, Biceps;
Mon - Legs, HIIT; :aargh::aargh::aargh::aargh: My legs are gonna feel that burn baby!... we'll see if I keep my breakfast down. haha.
Tues - Chest and Back,
Wed - Abs and Cardio;
Thurs - off;
Fri - Shoulders, traps, forearms, HIIT
Sat - Abs and Cardio

So my meals for the day were:

1 - 3 eggs, 3 egg whites, 3 pieces of turkey bacon, 1 huge bowl of oatmeal.
2 - Glass of juice, oatmeal, whey protien
3 - Turkey sandwich, peanut butter and apple slices, spinach salad.
4 - Met RX Big 100 RTD bar. About 32 gm protein, 50 gram carbs and some fats.
5 - Chicken and oatmeal with more spinach salad
6- Casein shake

I am running low on food, thank god it isn't breakfast food. Grocery store tomorrow...

Workout for the day. I did Biceps and Triceps, alternating one exercise of each back to back. IE: bicep exercise, tricep exercise, bicep exercise, tricep exercise. This way works best for me if I work out my arms in a single day, rather than training all of one and then all of the other.

Preacher Curls - EZbar inside grip +25's - 3 sets - 20reps, 15 reps, 12 reps.
Skull Crusher to close grip bench - ez bar +25's - 3 sets - 20 reps, 15 reps, 15 reps

Hammer Curls - 25x15, 30x15, 35x15
overhead tricep extention superset w/ bench dips - 3 sets - 20 / bodyweight, 25 / bodyweight+ 2 plates, 30 / bodyweight 2 plates

Single arm cable curls - 3setsx40lbsx15
tricep rope pressdown (grip at top of rope) - 3 sets - 15x80, 15x100, 12x120

Great pump today, it was also good to see my friend get some much needed exercise. I try to get him to come more often, but I can't be someone's weight nanny. You gotta want it yourself first before the changes come.

Anyway, gonna hit me up a serious workout tomorrow:twisted:, and that is why I am gonna hit the sack right after my Casein shake. I hope my Napalm comes tomorrow!!!

By the way, I see a lot of you guys are using a casein shake at night before bed. I've been using muscle milk before bed for about 6 months now with seemingly great good results... Is the casein ALL protein? What are you mixing with?

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Best of luck w/ your stack, it works great! I either mix my protein with Milk or Water... usually water.

Muscle Milk is a blended protein, like Syntha-6, Pro Complex, or other "extended muscle feeding proteins".

I find that these are overly expensive, and I just end up buying them way too often.

Milk has protein in it that is separated into 2 types, Whey (fast digesting) and Casein (slow digesting). You want Whey before/after workouts because you absorb the amino acids the fastest with this kind of protein. You want Casein in between meals and at bedtime because it "gobulates" which means to clump up in your stomach, and takes time to break down, feeding your muscles in constant smaller doses over the period of 8 hours or so. Egg proteins are medium digesting, but I don't really like them in my shakes, I just eat eggs in the morning.

The idea is to feed your muscles 24/7 so that you stay anabolic.

I just use ON Gold Standard Whey and Gold Standard Casein. Cheap and effective.

You will notice a difference if you start using casein once in the afternoon between meals and right before bed. The only thing is, I usually have to wake up around 3AM and take a leak because of the shake before bed. Minor price to pay. I know some guys who set their alarms to 3AM to get up to EAT. Gnarly.

Anyway, it's mothaf*ckin leg day b*tches! Time to go get me some squats and dead lifts.

how much water do you take it down with? i try to make my pre-bed shakes only with 3-4oz of water so i DONT have to get up and piss in the middle of the night... makes it kinda thick like pudding, and the ON casein tastes good that way :)

Buy some quark, if they do that in America. In a 250g tub there is hardly any fat, a few grams of sugar and 30grams of casein protein. If you mix in an options hot chocolate sachet and add some water it makes a lovely chocolate mousse, a fantastic pre-bedtime treat. Far nicer than just necking a shake :woohoo:

if it makes you feel better im allergic to dairy, so i take in ZERO casein... but before realizing i had the allergy i used it.

my main source of protein is egg... my pre-bed shake consists of egg + natty pb + a handfull of h&f amino tabs...

counterproductive imo.. unless ur dieting for a contest, or a woman on her period. less hydration = less strength/endurance.

a better way to shed excess water imo, would be to keep your NA moderate and you K high

Um, I don't really give a **** about strength during my cut, I want to get chiseled, even if just for a week or two, I want to see what I look like in contest shape. Just for sh*ts and grins.

I am pretty sure muscle milk has casein in it. I just think that buying a mixed product is way too expensive for the amount you get. And the thing is, you just get more of what you are looking for when you split the two kinds of protein up.

Speaking of 3-4 oz of water and casein... dude that would be like drinking mud. Casein is MUCH thicker than whey for those of you who haven't drank it, it takes some getting used to. I think I'll deal with pissing in the middle of the night rather than trying to down a sludge shake.
 
So I got legs today.

Weighed in at 184 lbs. Losing some weight here... not feeling too much smaller though. Probably going to be in the mid 170's by the time I am done with this cut.

Here was my leg workout today. Tore it up. I felt like I could go heavier than I did last week, last week I was kinda just feeling things out... it was time to push it a little today. All lifts went up! :head:

Quad Extentions - 1 platex15, 1 platex15

Squat - 135x15 (warm up), 185x15, 195x15, 205x15

Deadlift - 135x20, 225x15, 315x8, and I decided to go a bit heavy today... had to, the girlies were watching... and one last set of 405x1 YEA BUDDY!:twisted::twisted::twisted:

Leg Press - 225x15, 315x15, 405x15

Calves (on leg press) - 225x20x3sets
Calves (seated) - 45x30x3 sets

20 Minutes of Hell (HIIT after leg workout) - Recumbant Bike.

Holy crap I am not gonna be able to walk tomorrow. I was in a great mood today, I think the recreate helps with that, and felt great, I stretched, I think I am gonna have to stretch some more though... wow my legs are toast. :afro:

Dude, you might get a kick out of this too... I was just reading the casein label online (im gonna snag some before I hit the gym tonight)... It lists 24 grams of protein, and shows that as 48% of your daily value... What a joke that the government things the average american should only take in 50 grams of protein a day... Thats 200 calories worth, which is 10 percent of the 2,000 calorie recommended diet.

No wonder everyone is fat.

Anyway, Tex- you're pretty ridiculously strong at bench for your age, what are you deadlifting? You said you arn't squatting, do you do deads, or does it affect your ankle?

The AP Recreate thing is great so far. Really clean energy, really good pumps. Really good. My muscles feel more full in a week. Way more stirations across my chest, I can see the split in my upper/lower pecs now. Shoulder definition is great, back definition is doing pretty good. I am just trying to get this last little bit of fat off my waist, and I think it will be toast in a few weeks.

Anyway, the stupid little byach there always asks if I need help, so I just turn up my ipod and ignore her.. and its not the first week in the month, so Gold Card discounds dont exist. Anyway, she always asks me if I have a gold card, I say yes, the she says "IS IT CURRENT"... I snapped today and said "ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE ME A DISCOUNT?" and she looked at me like I'm crazy... So I said "Then why the hell are you asking???"... And she wasn't even ringing me up. I was like, this dude knows I have a card, which is why he didn't bother rubbing it in that I wasn't getting a discount.

Anyway... Those people are so clueless. I get that they have to make a living, but do they all need to be out of shape and stupid?

And get this... This was RIGHT after my workout. Woulda been a scene if I hadn't been to blow out yet.

It can be convenient, and lord knows I hit the vitamin shoppe up from time to time for an endorush or a protein shake if my orders hasn't come, but it's too easy to get caught in there w/out a calculator and just impluse buy because it's all in front of you. Plus, vitamin shoppe stops at LG sciences as far as the fun stuff goes... ;)

Flat bench fly - 35x15, 40x15, 45x15
Cable Cross - 60x15, 70x15, 80x15, 90x15

Back

Wide Grip Pulldowns - 120x15, 140x15, 160x15, 180x10 (I didn't feel like I had the gas to really make my pull-ups count, so I used the cables... very rare for me, but I got a good pump, I might start using it more often.)

Lower lat straight arm pulldowns - 40x15, 50x15, 60x15.

Got an incredible pump in my lats and chest today. My chest is looking better than it did in the middle of my PH cycle! I am losing weight, but I don't feel like I am losing size. I think I'll re-measure myself at 1 month and see where my progress is. (this is going to be an 8 week cut btw).

Aw screw it, I am here, so here was my diet for the day

Meal
1. 3 eggs, 3 egg whites, 3 strips turkey bacon, bowl oatmeal.
2. Protein shake, apple
3. Turkey and Roast beef sandwich on whole grain. Spinach salad.
4. Peanut butter sandwich and turkey (turkey separate)
5. MetRX Big 100 bar
6. Chicken and oatmeal
7. Casein Shake

I'm tired as heck. See you guys in the morning.
 
So yesterday was my rest day, I did Abs and Cardio.

Abs: Hanging leg raises (legs staight) - 3 sets of 20
Cable Crunches - 3 sets of 30x60lbs
Side Crunches - 2 sets of 50

Cardio - 45 minutes on Elliptical

I was doing great on my diet until last night. My tattoo appt. got canceled at the last minute by my artist, so my whole plan to take today off this week got screwed up. So I am gonna work out today and tomorrow, I don't feel very tired, and take the weekend off, then get back to my normal routine on Monday... *sigh.:frustrate

Anyway, I am going to get shoulders today and arms again tomorrow.

I have to admit, my diet was going completely clean until last night. I got stuck going out with my good friend, his girlfriend and my girl... everybody wanted Italian, and I got outvoted. So in order to save the night and make sure I ended up happy later, I went with instead of being strong in my diet... won't happen again. Anyway they didn't have wheat pasta, so I ended up eating fast digesting carbs in regular pasta last night. ugh. made me feel really gross. I finished maybe a quarter of it. But I felt obligated to admit to any "cheating" that I do. I'm over it, I am not gonna get pressured into changing my diet again, even if it is to keep the woman happy.

So go ahead and flame me all you want for not having the drive to stick to a diet plan. I'm not gonna budge again, it really pissed me off too, I keep thinking about it. Oh well, just gonna have to kill it today at the gym. My delts are going to pay dearly for my actions last night!:twisted:

And Italian's always a b!tch, because you say, "well, maybe if I stick to the proteins....hmm, ok, choices are sausage and chicken/veal/fish breaded and fried. What about salad? Ok, only ceasar is served with chicken....rest with salami. Looks like I am royally f*%ked!"

Yea, I feel like it put everything I have lost so far back on me, and it was seriously not very much food at all. Really makes me wonder what this country does to it's body day in and day out. It's probably in my head, but my stomach seems really soft compared to what it was this past week at the gym. I really feel like it flattened me out. Looks like I gotta hit cardio up a few extra times to catch myself back up.

Really frustrated with myself right now. :sad:

Oh well, can't undue what's past, you can only change the future.
