Hanging Out At Club Myth: Are You Cool Enough?

I will throw in a bottle of an RPN product.

I'm working with my trainer to help a pre teen girl to train with her. Her parents have just came out of a bad divorce and she is chunky but wants to try out for cheerleading. Her mom is worthless and dad has custody but might lose the house and can't afford to put her in. I told Nat I would help when I could if she helped also. It makes you feel good to help out, especially when you have been there before and know how hard it is. I was a single parent of 3 kids so I know how hard it is!!!
 
I'll be composing a workout play list for next week!!!

Thank you Christine! It does feel good doesn't it, and thats the point of doing good deeds! I hope we can get some stories from Club Myth members about something they did or are going to do now, then share with us! One good deed leads to another, and eventually it gets back to you!
 
Instead of just giving the products away each month, would there be anyway we could raffle them off and take the money and donate to a couple different charities. Maybe do like 1 dollar an entry through paypal and then use a random number generator to pick a winner each month for a different supplement. Then at the end of the year have a poll to vote on what charity to donate too.

Also any objections to me being the official Bouncer of Club Myth
 
Here's a deed for you all, just to show how easy it is to brighten up somebodies day. My mother and I both work in a nursing home, one of her patients had an 87th Bday two days ago so my mother took her out of her room to get ice cream, wednesday are make your own sunday's here, While they were out of her room I went in and took a picture of her old cat and placed it in a frame we had bought her and wrapped it up. When my mother gave her the frame she opened it and started crying right away. She said it was the best bday she could have gotten. I don't think she has stopped telling people about it yet.
 
^ thats a great story.
On the first monday of every month I go with some local boy scouts (im a scoutmaster lol) to the local nursing home and we play board games for about 2 hours. It really brightens up their day and they dont stop talking about it until the next time we come. Its great how much you can make a difference to some people.
 
Great story man! And your idea is a Great one! Raising money for a charity is an excellent idea, and could really make a difference!

I would be more than happy to set up some kind of Number generator where we could keep track of participants and what not. I wouldn't mind setting up the paypal stuff either, I imagine we would just need a checking account for it to go into.
 
It seems that we have quite a few people that have volunteered supps. We could split the prizes between a raffle or what not and something else. Or we could put them all towards one thing but we prolly want to keep some in reserves for later.

Anywho...
Im looking for requests still for our playlist of the week that im trying to put together... so if you have heard a good song lately lemme know!

No need to. I was thinking about prostate cancer research, since a lot of men are touched. But the Heart and stroke foundation would be even better for all of us including women.
 
I just thought that since this board was geared more towards fitness that it would be "fit" for the money to go to some kind of fitness charity. But those are just my thoughts. anyway its still a great idea!
 
I think any cancer research foundation would be a good option, maybe half to breast cancer and half to prostate cancer.
 
what fitness fundraisers are there though? Everyone in fitness is healthy, or should be. I think things like cancer, aids, and others would be most benificial, these people really need all the help they can get. There ae also animal fundraisers to keep dogs form being killed because of no room in the shelters.

So many options, we need to narrow dow the top 5, then have a vote. We need some more members up here in this crew! Everyone please try to grab as many people as you can to join, and put the tagline in your signature in BOLD RED!!! Let's raise some money!!!

So what do I win??? JK. I have had a bunch of cases of cancer in my family and my grandfather is currently going through bladder cancer. That is part of the reason I try to live the way I do, plus I figure any help I can give to cancer research now I could be paid back greatly for in the future if they find a treatment.

What I offer:
1. I wail on guitar...HARD!
2. I like to eat spicy chili, usually in my fort made from pillows
3. I got so pumped one time I kicked my grandmother down the stairs - which is braggable.
3. I flip out all the time (if you don't believe me ask my friend Daryl)!!
2. When I get aroused (which is all the time) I have to climb ladders backwards....for obvious reasons.
1. I pork hundreds of babes....and don't even think twice about it !!!


If you think your club is cool enough and you are also mortal enemies of filthy pirates, then I think this is one homosapien that would like to join.

Cool! Damn, lots of guitar players here now! I try to play like Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai style. I have joes limited js2k guitar and I just bought a Boss GS10 multi effect pedal, BEST fricken pedal board period! It rocks!
 
My dad is currently dying of ALS so thats a charity that would mean something to me. Although he did have prostate cancer that he survived but the meds for it set the ALS into play.So cancer is a good one as well.
 
I'm sorry to hear that C. I wish the best for you and your family. Maybe we can maybe do multiple charities.

Have you thought of a title yet?

One of my best friends mom is going through ALS right now, it is truly something I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. I do an ALS walk in the fall, I have done it for the past few years now and it is one of my favorite events, I would definitely love to see money going towards ALS research.
 
Um I think there is only one true way to settle a guitar issue... Dragon Force on Expert, first one to die looses. Game on.

A youtube guitar battle would be awesome.

P ~ couldn't agree with you more on the walks/runs for health issues. I do a 10 K leukemia run every year in my sisters memory. By far the most rewarding feeling in my young life.

so how are we raising all of this money that we are going to donate? it would be sweet to get our hands on some autographs. an autographed tub of some supp. Someone would prolly pay alot for that. we could prolly auction it off. I know we talked about a raffle earlier... perhaps we should do something else as well... donations and idk... lol any ideas?
