what makes your stomach come out?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that ALOT of people who use AAS have weird looking guts? Its like their 6 pack starts coming outwards.. I know some people say growth hormone causes this, but ive seen this in people that have never touched GH, but have messed with aas. Its a weird question but other people mustve noticed it too. I guess it makes your organs grow? It looks pretty nasty and maybe figuring out what causes it can keep some people away from those supps.
 
I've always been thick around that region. My top abs are starting to show, and I can feel only about 3/8 of an inch of fat and skin over my central abs, yet my gut is still thick. I don't get it. I looked like this before I started taking havoc. (I'm on my second cycle, this time cutting.) I guess some people are built differently. I suppose this just means I have to work out my chest to widen it to look proportional. :)

Maybe yours naturaly stick out a little but i mean, if you look at some of the body builders from back in the 70's like Arnold, and compare them todays body builders you will see what i mean. **** some of the ones today look pregnant but still have a 6 pack.

fact is bodybuilders back then took steroids, the ones today take them too, it must be something new they are taking today.

people who take the really strong stuff I think if I am not mistaken I read where it inflames the organs or something like that.
 
good question, ive always wondered that myself. Ive never seen any articles on it. Of course for there to be any study on it people would have to admit steroid use, which probly isnt going to happen.

I would have to imagine its purely a training issue. the "classic" body builders were required to have their stomach touch their spine, in todays competitions as long as your sponsered by who evers show it is your goin to place, regardless of how you look.

They used to do lots of breathing, and stretching exercises to be able to get that concave look. And it seems, by the articles i read on they new pros, meaning last 20 yrs, they are less interested is asthetics as they are in size, and Bench/Dead/Squat records. Everyone it seems want to be like ronnie were people will say, oh man he can dead/squat 800lbs?
 
The large gut sported by almost all pro BBers now adays can be attributed to the use of IGF-1 and HGH. The intestines have the highest density of IGF-1 receptors and therefore grows from the use of IGF-1 and HGH (HGH converts to IGF-1 in the liver). This is what causes that GH gut.

The use of anabolic steroids does not cause this immence intestinal growth. Yes, anabolic steroids can increase IGF-1 levels, but this IGF-1 is intracellular and not systemic. When you inject IGF-1 or GH, those hormones are systemic and can bind to any tissue with its receptors, hence the difference.

my waste is 33 inches when i carb down. the more carbs i eat, the bigger my bloat gets. i go to bed at nights after carbing well over 1000g and my stomach is like 4 inches past my chest and my abs still show clearly just very stretched. hgh has not grown my gut at all but im using 5ui ED. i know guys who use 10-20 ui ED and they do not have abnormal growth. I believe this is caused by years and years of extreme eating and serious IGF-1 abuse. last contest i did i had the 2nd smallest waste at 33inches ( esp for being 6 foot ) next to a man with a 30inch waste being 5'10. one competetor at my gym has a very large waste that he covers by wearing huge T shirts, he is in his late 30's and has been using aas/hgh for over 20 years as well as igf for the past 5. since he began using igf his gut has slowley grown more and more, hgh + Slin will also give this gut growing effect, personaly i have not experienced any of this mid section growth but i am not heavy into compounds other than AAS and small doses of hgh.
 
no not at all, take a look at your stomach in the morning bro its small. after massave carbing it gets bloated and pops out, its normal when large ammounts of complex carbs are ingested. during heavy bulking my waste goes to about 38 inches but as i carb down it gets smaller and smaller. and 6'2 + a 31" is impressive

Yeah, namely your liver. I saw this guy with an enlarged liver once, it looked like he swallowed a football. It was pretty nasty. He was in total liver failure from drinking, pretty young too, early 30's.

yes I noticed this too, when you see the old school guys doing their poses, drastically sucking in their abs during frontal shots
seemed standard, and I don't see guys doing that now.
