They picked me at the last minute!Hey Bassgod---I don't mean to steal anyone's "thunder", but I'd appreciate you guys (FOOFAC, PistonPump, Hate4theWeak, Pantera, Poopypants, and Celc5, and ALL others) stopping over at my new thread called "MMV2=Meister-Mayhem-Violence 2 All Log"!! Get subbed my brothers. I need all of youse guys help on this thing. I'm logging the new MethylMasterdrol Version 2 and Receptor for LegalGear. I started taking the MMV2 yesterday @ 6 caps per day. The Receptor should come in tomorrow as it was sent out a day or so later. Thanks and keep on rocking Bassgod272!!!:head:

my ONLY ab workout!!!! lol. jk.Hahaha, you know it bro. The best abs workout i've had in a while! LOL
I would give up the smith machine. It's great for calves, but thats it.It forces you to be in a fixed range of motion, instead of doing what your body will naturally do.With your shoulder problems,I wouldn't even look at that damn thing. It is GREAT for calf raises though!
my ONLY ab workout!!!! lol. jk.
Well damn it, I REALLY am getting bored with seated db military presses. Any other substitute you guys would recommend? My gym has a machine for these, not the smith machine, but a machine strictly for shoulder presses. Maybe try this? It has 2 separate handles for each arm btw. Simulates db because you have to balance the weight with each arm and you can easily push one side up sooner than the other, if one arm is stronger.
sounds like a hammer strength machine, is it plate loaded? I love that thing.Well damn it, I REALLY am getting bored with seated db military presses. Any other substitute you guys would recommend? I would, and do,stick with bb's and db's.Mainly bb's myself.the db's get so annoying getting them in place then changing them out everytime.Plus,if you're doing low reps,it's realy hard to get the db's in place.Your gym does have a place to sit and do presses with a bb right?A shoulder bench I guess you would call it?
No, they don't. Well, they DO, but it's the smith machine LMAO. I really didn't notice any pain using that tho. I actually liked it a lot. I do agree with you on positioning yourself perfectly. I had to move around a few times before I felt like I was in the correct spot. You can sit too far forward, too far back, too far to the left, etc. There's no other place where I could sit and do shoulder presses with a BB besides this machine. I know, it's LAME.

I think my gym sucks sometimes!Damn! How the hell do they not have a(whatever it's called)Ours has an adjustable seat with a rack behind you. It's kind of like a power rack for shoulders. If the smith machine doesn't hurt you.then go for it.I just like free weights.I'm old school like that.I used to use the smith mschine alot for shoulders, but I like the idea of having to balance as you push or pull, which is why I don't like machines.(one of the reasons anyways)Markus Ruhel uses lots of machines though.
Oh i'm the same way bro. I prefer bb and db over machines anyday. I just have to use a different exercise besides seated military db presses, lol. I have done these for almost an entire year. I have to change it up for sure.
I'm hoping your gym does have power racks. You could take a flat bench over there and use that for bb presses. Not sure how it would work, but it should work fine
Nope, no power rack. :ntome:
:toofunny:It's not called curves is it?
Dude it took me like 5 minutes to get my mouth closed and start typing. What do you do for legs.No leg wo is complete without sq's.I have heard some pros say they focused on high number sets of sq's only for legs to bring them up.I love big legs and Im at a loss for words right now. What the hell dude!
We have a gym in Arlington called metroflex.Ronnie Coleman,Branch Warren, and some guy in the special olympics trains there.Maybe you should move to Arlington.I have thought about moving there one day solely for the purpose of this gym. It's not an option right now.My Dad owns a fencing company and right now I'm the only worker(family home ran business since late 80's).Plus,I couldn't make more at another job.Their has to better options then the gym your at.It's not called curves is it?
:toofunny: For squats, I use this weird a$s thing, lol. Now that you mention it, I don't have a power rack per se, but I do have something similar (sort of) They have this tall pullup bar that is attatched to a kind of power rack. It's weighted down by all these plates on both sides of the rack. It's not a power rack, but 3 levels of metal bars on each side that descend in height. They go from higher to lower. I set the bb on the highest bar, then load on the pates. I then get underneath the bar and squat. I told you bro, my gym is fvckin OLD SCHOOL! LOL. Tomorrow is arms day. I will take my digi camera and take pics of both the shoulder press machine and pullup/power rack combo thing. LMAO
Now I'm the fastest tree log runner in three counties!! YEEEEHHHAAAAAWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn I remember when I 1st joined a gym about 12 years ago - all they had was dumbell racks and a few free weight benches. How times have changed. I still use mostly free weights but do a mix of machines too to mix things up a bit. Bass - 5 lbs is really solid for the 1st 2 weeks! Did you check BF% lately?
That's my boy Bass, you go ahead an improvise some sht! As long as your picking up heavy stuff setting it down and repeating, you'll grow lol.....Funny but true!
And I've been through the town that Bass lives in (smaller than mine actually) and he's lucky to have even found a gym!
Where there's a will there's a way!
Back in the day I used to go on trail runs carrying a bigass pine log on my back trough the woods. Every once in a while someone else would be out there and see me and just stare at me with that WTF is wrong with this mofo look on their face! Haha, priceless but hey it got the job done. Now I'm the fastest tree log runner in three counties!! YEEEEHHHAAAAAWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nah, I don't have calipers, but will be investing in some soon. I am just judging by pics of people i've seen who look very similar to me. I am actually very curious as to what my % truly is. Yea, the 5lbs is great. My bf% is either exactly the same or even down a bit. I look leaner than before I started the cycle, but with more fullness, if that mkes any sense, lol. The EC stack and napalm/clen mix are definitey aids in that department. I am absolutely LOVING this cycle so far, and the best has yet to come! I haven't needed taurine/vitamin k for back pumps yet, acne isn't as bad as i expected(actually clearing up a bit) libido is excellent, strength increases are becoming more prominant with each session, the EC and napalm/clen stack is really helping me LEAN bulk and not put on any fat, no lethargy yet, no atrophy/supression, i mean damn! LOL. I know it's still early yet though. Today is day 17. I'm still waking up with morning wood and getting randon wood throughout the day also. DEF a plus and a sign of not being shutdown or suppressed much
EDIT: I forgot to mention, ZERO itchy nips/prolactin issues, etc. I haven't used my p-5-p yet and it would be superb if I didn't need it through the whole cycle. We will see though.
Hell yea, representin' the Northern AZ nukka! LOL. Sometime in the future when you're workin near here again, maybe in prescott or sedona or something, we should lift. We would tear the gym uppp! It'd be sick.
Yeah I'd probably start the P-5-P when you get into Super solo. Just wait till you bridge over! From what I hear on this bridge you haven't even begun.
Yea, after your cycle when your like twice my size lol.......Fck that!!!
Just kidding brotha, that would be sick!! I don't know if the C-Dub could handle such a dose of badassnessosity!!
Oh and btw, badassnessosity is now officially my favorite NON-word, LOL. Sick.
hahaha! Nah bro, they'd all run out of the gym screaming because we'd be tearing the place apart! Oh and btw, badassnessosity is now officially my favorite NON-word, LOL. Sick.
Have you started your log yet hman85? I'll drop by and get subbed right away. Come by my "MMV2=Meister-Mayhem-Violence 2 All Log." The LG rep advised me to dose it @ 6 caps per day, instead of the usual 3, due to my size and past PH/PS experience. How will you be dosing? Tomorrow will be day 3 for me and that's when the LG rep said this stuff really kicks in!!:aargh:You guys have to check out mine to! Well be doing this together Thundergod! They picked me at the last minute!
They'd kick hate4theweak out after he kept hitting things and getting bark everywhere with his logs.
:toofunny: Ha,ha LMFAO........Good luck to those bast@rds fighting me off while I'm wielding a F'in Pine-tree:whip:
I just gave them my adress two days ago so I will start when I get it.Have you started your log yet hman85? I'll drop by and get subbed right away. Hahaha, you know it bro. The best abs workout i've had in a while! LOL
With this one nympho chick I dated I actually wore a heart rate monitor to make sure I stayed in my aerobic zone. lol
The smith machine will fvck you up! As was mentioned previously it prevents the natural movement of the bar in most exercises but it also weakens the stabilizer muscles. When you go back to pressing BB's and DB's the strength imbalance is likely to cause injury. Presses behind the neck are a no no too as are bench dips & upright rows with a BB. Sometimes I will drop shoulder presses all together because the anterior head gets a lot of work when I bench. At that point I will focus on the posterior head which most should because I see a lot of weak rear delts. Seriously how many people can say their rear delts are overpowering? However this is usually the case with the front delts for many people. The only direct shoulder exercises I do are military BB or DB presses, front, side & bent laterals and upright rows with DB's preformed in a "Y" movement. For anyone that really wants to blow up their rear delts try pre-exhausting heavy bent laterals to failure immediately followed by some form of wide grip face pull. It will really help to give you a thick look when viewed from the side.
DAY 18: ARMS
Today's workout was pretty good. My zune's battery died on me, so it wasn't nearly as intense as my usual workouts. I was a dumb a$s and forgot to charge it last night, lol. Anyways, I started off with tricep pushdowns and did 140x6 for 3 sets. Afterward, I went to overhead db extensions and did 70x6 for 3 sets. Could have went higher on the weight, but i'm trying to not put too much stress on my shoulders. Did some dips rahter than the usual close-grip bench, again due to my shoulders. I actually felt pretty strong doing this as I have not done dips in quite some time. Did my bodyweight(185lbs) for 10 reps and 3 sets. Then I started on the biceps. Began with incline db curls at 45x6 for 3 sets, then moved on to standing hammer curls across the chest. Did 50x6 with these also for 3 sets. After that, I did 2 sets of standing 2 arm cable curls and 1 set of concentration curls. Standing cables were 70x6 and concentrations were 45x6. Felt pretty strong again during this sesion, but there were 2 hot a$$ chicas chatting it up, for some reason in the weght room, lol. They were doing pull ups. I was a bit distracted the entire workout because of this, but oh well, what can a nukka do? I am noticing an increase in size also. Looking in the mirror after my session, I can def see an increase in mass on my upper body. I WAS pumped, but I was still visibly larger and more full looking than when I was pumped at the beginning if the cycle. I'm loving this so far!
Thats alot of weight for 5'7 What is your body fat % at?Nope, due to my line of work I don't post anything that could compromise my anonymity. Most people in law enforcement would be able to relate to this & it has to be this way in order to protect my family & my employment. I hope you understand.
I'm pissed I only gained 1lbs because I never gained anything the wk before when I took that wk off from training but continued my pulse. I only have 1.5 wks left on this pulse and I want to hit 240lbs before I cut. BTW last time I cut down around 200lbs after my bulk so this time I'm hoping for close to 210lbs in the same condition. Normally I can't gain muscle without gaining fat but epi has really helped in this dept. As an experiment I bulked up to 270lbs the fall and came down to 224lbs prior to this pulse. At 5'7" & 270lbs I was huge but pretty fat and felt like crap so that's the last time I go that high. I'm actually looking forward to dieting because I'm so sick of eating. lol
Yup just epi & this is the first time I have ever taken PH's or PS's or whatever you call this stuff.
