Insidious1's Test E + Mass Tabs Cycle...

I took my weight today, and i am ASTONISHED!!! I weighed in (ont he same scale as i ALWAYS do) at 188.5lbs! HOLY CRAP!!!!! Now i know SOME was bloat, but i went from 168-169lbs to 188lbs in a matter of 5.5 weeks! HOLY CRAP! (i think i said that!)

LOL I am SOOO excited about this! I have been dieting and eating right and its starting to show! Thanks for following along folks! I'll definately get some before/mid/after pics up when i can... The funny thing is, i am unsure as to if i have any pics of before.. I know i took some after week 2.5 and was up about 7 lbs already.... But i'll post what i have.
 
Barely! LOL.. A lot of the weight gain has been in my legs! My dress pants for work feel like i'm wearing freakin spandex! I cant carry my keys or phone in my pockets without looking funny! LOL... oh well.. the price i pay i guess! Its worth it!
 
P.S. Today (after work) is arms day... Likely the area i need the most improvment! I REALLY REALLY need to build a larger peak on my biceps! Anyone have any suggestions for this?
 
well ive noticed that when i lift heavy i get more mass but in the past my peaks were pretty sick when i used concentration curls.....this was way back when i would do them all day, each arm to failure then force reps then failure....all day lol. it worked. gotta get that squeeze and turn at the top!

This is TYPICALLY how i run my arm days. Please advice what YOU all think needs to be changed, altered, removed from the workout. Keep in mind that it is SEMI- "AST" type workout:

BB Curls (two warm up sets of 12 reps)
Incline Bench DB Curls: 2 sets @ 6-8
Overhead Cable Presses/Extensions (Triceps): 2 warm up sets/ 2 heavy @6-8
Cable Curls: 2sets @6-8
Overhead DB Press: 2sets @6-8
Concentrated Curls: 2sets @6-8
Tricep DB Kickbacks: 2sets @6-8
Forearm Wooden Handle with Rope and Weight Thingy: 2sets @6-8

As you can tell, i dont have the "proper" names for some of the exercises. I hope i explained what i meant in their name though... Let me know your thoughts. i am currently looking up (youtube) arm workout routines. I am going on 5 weeks of the same routine, and though i AM seeing results, i think its about time i switch it up... atleast just a little bit. Let me know your thoughts everyone!

Why not do some hammer curls, gets the forearm too. Work great for my foreams. You could do some preacher that got my bis pretty big.
 
I did this cycle, ran the mass tabs with my 2nd bottle of test. Def noticed a big boost in agression(nothing bad), and crazy ass pumps day 4 off mass tabs. Im subbed, Good luck bro.

Agreed! The pumps on Mass Tabs are SICK! I am also taking RPM andi feel that gives me an additional pump. Friday, i was doing arms, and it LITERALLY felt like my skin was gonna rip! I've never had a pump like that! I am about to take my last Mass Tab today.... :( Kinda sucks!

If they werent so liver toxic (and werent nearly $100 a box) i'd get a another box and run them for a total of 6 weeks. Oh well... i'm sure the Test is kicked in by now! i am NOW starting to see some the the sides related to Test. I am not one to EVER get pimples/acne (thankfully)... but i am now starting to break out on my shoulders and my inner chest. Its not bad though..,..

This kid at the gym was telling me that he ALWAYS finishes out his Test cycles with an light or small dosed oral (D-Bol or something of the sort). I told him i didnt know if that was the BEST idea... but he apparently swears by it. Any ideas on this....?
 
Finishing out with an oral is really an ok idea. Especially during the 2 weeks or so where you're waiting for the esters to clear from the enanthate.

If you go that route, I totally suggest havoc, or one of it's clones.
 
Yeah i wouldn't finish with dbol but maybe something like epi like ozarka said. Also for the acne on your shoulders try using antibacterial dish soap it works wonders
 
yea def not woth 100 a box. Dbol at the end? no. Winny, epi, tbol, anavar i can see b/c it will dry/lean u out.

Also.. i might do the Epi at the end of the cycle. Should help keep Gyno down and lean mass up while the ester clears... Thanks for the idea! I told the kid that D-Bol at the END of the cycle is a bit extreme. But i like the idea of the Epi, as i've taken it before and really enjoyed it...

About 182lbs... Taken 1.5 weeks ago. Its with my phone, so the quality isnt very good at all! I have some photos from before this on my buddies camera, but he hasnt sent them to me. I will have more towards the end of the cycle...

Also, one more thing....

I hit a personal record yesterday on lifts. I used to (about 6-7 weeks ago) do 65-75 lbs DB's for incline DB press. I know that may not be much for you big-dogs... but for me, thats what i was at....

Since then, i've started to put on some good weight and my strength has gone up quite up bit. Yesterday, though, was a personal record for me. Bear in mind, i almost NEVER EVER "max out" (1 rep max...). I have been following a pseudo- Max OT method and i like it quite a bit. After sets warming up on the incline BarBell (1 plate on each side...) i was ready to hit my upper chest. I have (the past 2 weeks) been doing my incline bench work via DumbBells as opposed to BarBells just to switch things up. I DO, however, tend to warm up using the BarBell...

Anyways... After a good warm up, i went to the DB's for my incline presses. I started out with 90lbs and did a SOLID 8 reps and felt good.... In Max-OT, i would typically warm up, then do 2 sets of 4-6 as heavy as possible to overload the muscle. I was feeling WAY amped up and went for my own personal record. I got the 100lbs DB's and did 5 reps (4 were good, the last one was a bit shotty... lol). Now for you all, that may not be much... but i'dlike to revel in the glory of it!!! LOL

So withing 7 weeks, i've gone from 65-70lbs DB's for incline press to doinng 100lb DB's for incline press! If you ask me.. thats pretty damn good!!! (patting myself on the back!) My goal by the end of the cycle is to hit 110lb DB's... MAYBE 115lb..... I wont sacrifice hurting myself over it... but its definately something i wil strive for...

how long you been doing max ot esque workout? It will def increase strength, when i was doing max ot style i was doing some heavier weight.

Been doing "Max OT" type training for about 4 months... Not religiously... but definately try to stick to the main principles. I like to add in some good cable movements, and they arent a proponent of that type workout. But i LOVE the 2 sets of 4-6... I get a GREAT pump and i really feel a good muscle breakdown for a couple days... I'm ALL about changing things up, thus the reason i dont stick SOLEY to a specific style. Though Max OT tends to be the one i ALWAYS fall back on and enjoy very much! I have given thought to the HST program, but it seems a bit overwhelming in regards to calculating max sets, lbs increments, etc etc... I'm sure its great... and when implemented correctly, seems to make perfect scientific sense... But i'll need ot get more familiar with it.... Any thoughts...?

Thanks again bro! Appreciate the feedback! Been bustin my a$$ in the gym and its really paying off! Today is legs.. i hope to get about 14 plates on the leg press machine... I got 12 last time... But felt pretty good. Only problem is that i sorta jacked my lower back up on HEAVY squats the other week.. so i've been a little tender and reluctant to go TOO heavy. I could barely get out of bed last week due to my lower back being so sore... I'm not a huge fan of machines... but i may do my squats on the "FreeMotion" squat machine tonight... I did 1 set (after hurting my back last week) on it and it REALLY supported my back felt pretty intense on my quads. So i will do my squats using that this week. I will then do leg presses, followed by extensions, weighted lunges and calves.... That should leave me in some pain! ;)

Thoughts.....?
 
Be careful. Hurt my back before and was stiff as hell for 2 weeks. Use the machine but if you feel pain stop. 14 plates, Good Sh!t. Maybe throw in a couple sets of leg curls.

Well 14 total.... 7 on each side... But hey... sounds MUCH better to say "14 PLates"! LOL

And just a question for ya'll.... In comparison to my body weight... what would be a "Good " amount of weight in regards to squatting... I know its a matter of opinion... but for those following along, i'd be interested to hear what ya'll have to say...
 
Just got done with the gym...

WHOA, what a workout! Never had i done that intense of a workout on my legs.. i felt like i was gonna throw up at times! lol

Anyways... i started out with a light warm up for my squats... Did 2 sets of 12 at 135. I then went over to the "Free Motion" machine to finish out my squats since i kinda strained my lower back last week... I put the weight to 380lbs (who knows if its REALLY 380lbs... it feels much easier, likely becuase there is a backrest on it...). I did 1 set of 8 reps at 380lbs... then another set of 6 reps at 400lbs (cant go heavier on that machine). I was feeling a pretty pumped at that point so i did another set of 6 at 400lbs... That I gave myself a good 4 mintues off then worked in with someone doing the leg press.

Leg press went as follows:
Set 1: 6 Reps @ 12 plates
Set 2: 6 reps @14 plates
Set 3: 4 Reps @ 15 plates... (you can add plates to the top of the machine... making it 7 plates on each side with 1 plate on the top...)

Next was Weighted Lunges:
Set 1: 6 Reps (per leg) holding 40lbs DB's
Set 2: 6 Reps (per leg) holding 45lbs DB's

Next was Leg Extensions:
Set 1: 8 Reps @ 180lbs
Set 2: 6 Reps @ 200lbs

Last was Hamstring Machine:
Set 1: 8 Reps @ 90lbs


I opted to take the hamstrings light b/c they were REALLY worked in the presses and lunges....

Overall a GREAT workout! Leg days are a "love/hate" relationship! LOL Thanks again for following along everyone... t keeps me motivated and i appreciate it!
 
Hey folks... i am doing back tonight and would LOVE to get some suggested routiines!!!

I am going in the next couple of hours, so i'd GREATLY appreciate a good routine. I am trying to switch things up a little. I am ESPECIALLY trying to widen my back. I have good muscle mass, but i'm not very wide... So anything that you all know of or routines that would help hit that would be REALLY REALLY great!!

If i dont hear back, i'll do my normal... But i'd GREATLY appreciate some foodback and/or ideas...

Quick question on the deadlifts... I have done them in the past, but NEVER feel it in my back. Its ALWAYS in my hamstrings, for some reason! I have neglected to do it since i gave it up, and i'm sure my form may be to blame... But how on earth do i isolate my BACK muscles on that movement!?

So long as you use proper form it will definitely be hitting your back pretty hard. It also activates the hammies quite a bit too.
 
Yeah it should hit your back pretty hard if you are doing it correctly, you could also try stiff leg deads. I hear stiff legs are supposed to focus on hams buty i always feel it in my lower back

Headed to the gym in about an hour, and today is my pinning day so i will go ahead and pin now. It seems to give me a major boost (though likely just in my head... but regardless, its still good!)
 
for the record, typically i do wide grip pulldowns, tbar, db row, bb row, underhand bb row, deads and finish with rear delt flyes.
 
Had a pretty decent shoulder workout, though the weight i was putting up was a little bit less than last week. Not sure if it was an "off" day or if not being the oral (i.e. the Mass Tabs) can make that much of a difference..?

Any thoughts?
 
Probably just an off day. Dont think that oral would make that much of a difference considering your on Test.

I;m here, and still kickin! Today is my legs day, but unfortunately i have a work dinner and i'm afraid i WONTbe able to make it to the gym! This is my FIRST day i missed in nearly 7 weeks! Kinda sucks..

Oh well.. i'll hit back HARD tomorrow! ;)

those comments....i hate em. they assume its juice as if i dont bust my ass in the gym and leave it all out there, its like they cant fathom dedication.
 
Hey folks... Just wanted to check in. Been a WHILE!

As it is, i work 9-5, come home and go to the gym form 6-7:15ish.... Then work from 8-11pm!

Needless to say, its hard to get on here! Things have been going GREAT so far! The weight is stready and i'm feeling dtrong and solid. Havent broke the 190lbs mark, but i'm happy with my gains and hope to keep what i have... Diet has been rough as i am soo busy! I pack like 4 baggies of protein powderjst in case i am no where near food when i need to eat...

All was good until NOW though... I need some advice and i'd greatly appreciate it! I pinned on Sunday using a new bottle of Test E. My roomate and i are on the same cycle and are sharing the gear. We pin in the glute, alternating every Sunday and Wednesday... This past Sunday was jsut loike every other injection day....

I swabbed down the whole area in the bathroom with Alcohol. Wash my hands repeatedly. PLace the needles, gear, and gause and alcohol out neatly and organized. Sterilize the top of the 10ml vial before i insert needle for drawing... Etc etc etc...

I cleaned the area.... injected at 90 degrees, in the upper,outer portion of the glute. Aspirated, and SLOWLY injected the 1ml (250mg Test E) in. My roomate pin's my glute and i then pin his. Well its been 4 days now and we're BOTH in EXCRUTIATING pain! I can barely sit and he can barely walk! The injection site isn't black and blue or anything... but it IS huge! Its like there is a softball sized knot that VERY VERY painfull.

I know not to rub the area too hard after injection (can cuased an abscess) and i made sure all is sterile.... I thought maybe the BA was a bit high in this new bottle, BUT its our 2nd injection with this new bottle of Test and the first time there was no issues... I am concerned about possibly having an abscess since its been nearly 4 days since injection and it still hurts to sit. I've never had an issue and ANY of my injections until now...

What are ya'll thoughts? I would greatly appreciate the feedback...
 
as long as it does now become redish in color and u dont run a temperature, then its not an abcess. just keep a close eye on ur temp and u should be fine
 
Hmm thats sounds weird, I would say its the gear but your first shot was fine. Sometimes this just happens I would just watch it closely. How bad does it look? Describe the color and apperance of it, and has it gotten any better since sunday?
