Chunk Lite Done Right Thread

Throw pickels, tomatos, red onions, garlic, and cilantro into food processor. Give a few good mixes, leave it chunky, throw in a few cans of tune, mix again, then put on some whole wheat with low fat mozza cheese and grill on high heat covered with a bit of margerine on each side. Grilled cheese extreme :)

I mix two cans with Tuna Salad Maker and then buy whole wheat sub buns. It fits on two buns and equals out to be about 80g carbs and about 80g protein.

Fat Free Yogurt + A bit of FF Ranch Dressing Powder. YUM.

I like Chunk Lite more than albacore too for some reason...

Just not sure about eating Tuna anymore now after reading this thread....

I have been using the Hickory Smoked Tuna... Mixed with everything said here except with Cottage Cheese and Putting it in a Blender....

Mix it with chili sauce, cumin & garlic.
Put it on one side of a tortilla with a little cheese.
Fold and cook in a dry frying pan untill tortilla is toasted and filling is hot/cheese melted.
They are fing delicious.

This sounds good....thanks bpmarty

For the tuna; I'll mix that with some light mayonnaise, chopped pickles (or relish), and sometimes onion, if I have any. I'll mix that all up. Sometimes I'll toss in a little dash of black pepper, salt, poultry/fish seasoning, and paprika.

I like toasting whole wheat bread and then making it, as if I'm making an ordinary tuna fish sandwich. But, it's more like a tuna melt. I also put a slice of cheese on each sandwich and toast the sandwiches for a few minutes, which helps the cheese to melt.

i cant resist some chunk light with some smuckers grape jelly and some hershey's chocolate syrup drizzled on top. a little LIGHT whip cream doesnt hurt either. mmmmm

Can you say, bulking?

That's just disgusting, dude. :dump: (AM really needs to get a smiley that pukes.)

Wow, I really should try some of these. Up to this point ive just been manning up and eating it straight out of the can every night. Sometimes I use worsteschore (no idea how to spell that) or soy sauce, though.

I throw some mustard on it,or put it over a salad w/ some oil and vinager. Many times I eat it straight out of the pouch on the go. Some of those flavored ones in olive oil aren't bad by themselves. I've been eating it for so long, I'm immune to the taste.

There is not alot of sodium in tuna. You should try some hard boiled eggs mixed in with your tuna. It's great.

250mg/ serving 2.5 serving/can~625mg/can not too bad, but I've been experimenting w/ a high sodium diet. The idea is the more you eat, the more your body will excrete. Low sodium diets will cause your body to hold on to the sodium that it gets causing water retention and bloat.

I love to mix a can with mac n cheese. I also discovered smart balance omega 3 mayo and it is awesome stuff. No trans or sat fat.

I've been mixing with grilled onions and calling it a day.

Grilled onions are probably my favorite vegetable. Gotta be grilled though; otherwise, it lacks the same sweet taste.

Got a new one folks!.. LOL.. i didnt have much in the house and i got a little creative..

I shall hereby call it: Tuna-Asparigus Robusto! (lol)

Ingredients:
- Can of Chunk White Albacore (any tuna will do...)
- 1/4 to 1/2 Cup of "Chunky Robusto" Tomato Sauce (any Tomato sauce should do though...)
- Can of Asparigus
- Seasoning of your choice

Easy to make.. LOL.. grab a bowl and empty contents in. Add the spices you like (i like Adobo, "Season All", and a little garlic salt). Heat up in microwave until hot. Enjoy...

To be, its better than a lot of the other mundane recipies... The asparigus is low carb and actually has about 2 grams of protein per serving... so a can is about 9 grams and carbs are rougly 12 grams... The sauce has about 90 cals per 1/2 cup... and the tuna (as we all know) is HIGH in protein and essential fish oils..

Let me knwo what ya'll think.. its better than you would guess!

Not sure if this one is on here.... but i'll add it too...

Ingredients:
Can of Tuna
Bush's Baked Beans (Original)

How to Make:
Add a can of tuna to however much beans you like. Keep in mind though that there is a bit of sugar and the carbs in the beans are there... Its not for anyone trying to hardcore diet... BUT its not that bad for you either! I am presently bulking and i enjoy it every day or so... Its AWESOME!!!

Let me know what ya'll think!

fat free yogurt, fat free sour cream, mustard in a fat free pits with some lettuce suprisingly tolerable

Mix a can with an amount of BBQ sauce you prefer... heat it so the sugars and the BBQ really stand out.

Slap it on some whole grain bread

not bad!
