hello
I am thinking of buying san myodrive
Did anyone ever take this?
Opinions, results?
Well, yes I've taken it - but I'm also a rep for SAN. Here's my basic thoughts:
1. The chocolate is very sweet - borderline too sweet for my tastes. Mixed in something else and it cuts the sweetness to a more pleasant chocolate. I haven't tried the berry flavor (yet). I often actually mix Myodrive with Infusion - turns out tasting like a chocolate raspberry drink.
2. SAN is consistently known for high quality standards in our manufacturing. There are a few companies that do produce 'gainers' that I like, and some that I don't like. A track record is a plus - you pay a bit more on the tag for it sometimes, but there's a lot to be said to sticking to reputable companies.
3. Weight gainers, by and large, follow similar patterns in formulations. The really important thing to take away is this:
the weight gainer does not make you gain weight. That is dictated by overall diet! If your diet is lacking, then adding a gainer isn't a step in the right direction - with a well thought-out plan and a gainer, that's where the results are. In reality, looking for results from a gainer is a bit like looking for rhinos in your sock drawer - you're looking for the wrong thing

. Gainers work in that they provide calories in an easy to drink form, that tends not to fill you up as long.
These aren't entirely unbiased thoughts mind you - and I don't pretend that they are. I'll leave this to think about: when I get complaints about gainers (not just ours - I get them often about a variety of products), it's generally speaking not the problem with the product - it is how it is being utilized. Adding a gainer on top of a good diet is good practice; replacing food (what many end up doing) with a gainer is not.
