Bulk supplement advice.

So when I'm done with muscletech's vapor I'm gonna call it quits for the "specialty supplements" for awhile. When I say specialty supplements, I mean supplements that have a busload of ingredients in them. I've used No-Xplode and Animal Pump aswell, all of which worked very well I'm just thinking of taking more of a traditional route that I can do round the clock supplementation with, as opposed to just "30 minutes prior to workout out on an empty stomach" My diet is pretty good, I train hard, and i get good rest.

I'm looking to incorporate a creatine (most likely ethyl ester because it's one of the most efficient) a glutamine and a BCAA. Any opinions as to brands/products i consider and what doses I should take em at?

Right now I'm taking Fish Oil Softgels 3000mg a day with 180/120 EPA/DHA concentration. ON's Opti-men vitamin, cytogainer, nanoVapor, and epistane (with post cycle therapy handy)

So are you looking specifically for just straight bulk powder supplements(as in, not name brand stuff)?

oh no, i was just being a smartass about that. It doesn't matter really. I was looking more towards info on doses. like how much glutamine, creatine(whatever), bcaa should be taken when. ya know?

Well, dose timing for creatine supplements really depends on the product.

For instance, I use Avant Research's SyntheSIZE which has a blend of Creatine Ethyl Ester and Creatine Monohydrate. It also contains what I call "meal optimizing" ingredients to help with nutrient partitioning. With the addition of those ingredients, you need to take SyntheSIZE with three of your meals. Some other creatines require an empty stomach, though.

You can keep that tone and underlining sarcasm for your friends. You must want someone to do all the research for you... I pointed you in a direction to where you can read and decide for yourself, instead on being spoon-feed like a baby.

well that was a muscletech worthy response, thanks though.

Then please s p e c i f i c a l l y state that in your first post.

as far as brands, both the products rpen and matthews mentioned are solid. Best bang for your buck is bulk powders from Nutraplanet....

look into swell/plcar/tri-creatine, with xtend added for flavor and bcaa's. i dumped a 100 gms each of plcar/tricreatine into my jug of swell. results have been real good. getting ready to add some alcar to the mix.

matthew, your avatar, amazzzing...... as usual

If you are looking for bulk powders, NutraPlanet has something for everyone. Otherwise, you might want to look at NeoVar, a creatine-ethyl-ester product with rhodiola for recovery/adaptogenic support/ATP-synthesis, and banaba extract for high-level nutrient partitioning.
