My LR3 IGF-1 Experience Thus Far

rhunt000

I luv my tee, thanks NP
I am 38 y/o, 6'3" tall, weigh ~230 lbs and fairly lean. My reason for trying LR3 IGF-1 are as follows:

1) Would like to take advantage of the muscle cell effects.
2) My knees get sore after squats and my right shoulder bothers me after chest and/or shoulder workouts. Hope to get positive effects for these conditions.
3) Planning an anabolic cycle soon and hope there is good synergy.

I did my first inj on 12/13 right after working legs. Did several sets of squats and a few heavy partial DL's. I did 30 mcg in each quad. Call me hokey pokey placebo jokey, but I swear I noticed the effects soon after. I felt little muscle soreness and my knees felt really good. Normally, my quads are sore for a couple days and my knees hurt for a couple days. I felt very hungry and I absolutely chowed down Thur, Fri and Sat. Did 2nd inj today after chest/shoulders. Did 20 mcg each shoulder. My shoulders already feel good and my right shoulder is normally aching by now. I have been eating like crazy and I am still hungry. Like I said, maybe I got a placebo thing going on, but I swear it feels like this stuff is already working. I plan to follow a E3D schedule for quads and shoulders at doses stated above. I put together a spreadsheet to help me with my calculations and I don't mind sharing if anyone would like to see it. But, I do not guarantee its accuracy and I highly recommend checking/double checking your numbers before following any protocol.

glad it worked well for you, i notice the same effects, dont worry about putting on fat either, i ate all sorts of garbage on my last IGF run because i was so damn hungry all the time, and i think i actaully lost fast! seriously eating burgers and bacon/egg breakfasts and all that. plus i have found that the gains from IGF are very very sticky, as in if you are forced to take some time off from the gym those gains not only stay very well but the snap back to your old body when you start working out is faster for me after 2 IGF cycles.

cheers! keep us updated !

Me too... mine should be here any day. Was planning a 40mcg bilateraly E3D mainly in bi's, tri's and shoulders

Sounds about right ... Igf is great stuff.

I've just started my first run with IGF-1 as well and am around your height and weight. So far, no hypo feelings or any sides really, maybe increased hunger, maybe recovery seems faster now (or not feeling as sore), hard to tell since I am doing a modified HST routine and not strength training.. we'll see how it goes since I know my source is good. I'm taking 50 mcg bilaterally, but I'm personally thinking of bumping this up to 80 total even though it's my first run. I'm going to try bumping up the volume on my lifts now too I think.

I'm also curious to it's effects on upregulating the HPTA.

Oh, and I've used 6% AA for reconstitution, and using a *bit of NaCL to dilute immediately before and there is absolutely no sting (and I'm pinning pecs + bi's atm)

True, I'm thinking of it mainly because I'm only doing it 3x weekly, after each workout. Maybe I should not take the normal 2 days off at the end of the week and just go eod and stick to pinning 50mcg PWO. Interesting that I haven't ever felt hypo though, but I guess it's only a possible side that can occur randomly (but I am also eating a lot of carbs so I don't know if this would prevent it).

Before I knew what I was doing, I have used as much as 100mcg's at a time. I have never felt hypo regardless of the dose. I have however felt a bit sleepy and had excellent sleep :) I kinda think the hypo thing is overblown.

i get the exact same results from 60mcg as i do with 40mcg, i also see virtually no increase in gains when i go from twice a week to three times a week, i would say stick with 50mcg every third day, if you are feeling significant gains, then chances are you are taking too much, it should be very very mild gains, thing is they stick like crazy. just my personal thoughts.

I agree. Moreover, I had more hypo many times at 50mcg than at 80mcg. Why, I don't freaking know.
