My son just texted me. They just got their 2nd bomb threat in 2 days at his school. (He's a freshman in high school) This is pretty new for his school, but not for most of the high schools in the county. One of them has had on average about 1 per week.
They are catching very few of the individuals involved. Not many of them are dumb enough to do it by phone anymore. Most are writing things on the walls in the bathroom, or notes taped to walls, etc.
I am really at a loss as to what can be done. They cant make public examples of most of those doing it because they are minors. Public flogging or caneing comes to mind, but this is the USA and we kinda frown on that stuff.
So, my boy is standing out in a field with the rest of the students, waiting for the administration to figgure out if school will be canceled for the rest of the day. I cant go get him, the school is effectively in "Lock Down"
