Rodja's PAL Sponsored Transformation

I am still battling horrible inflammation around my Achilles' and anterior tibialis and it is somewhat compromising my training. I went for a light 2.5 mile run this afternoon and did core and conditioning drills this evening.

For core, I did 3 sets of:
50 crunches
15 leg lift/hip thrust
30 second plank
30 seconds rest

Conditioning was:
3 minutes of jump rope
5 sets of 10 plyo jumps (30 inches) w/ 30 jumping jacks
6 sprints of 50 yards w/ 10 seconds rest
Shadow Thai Boxing:
10 of each
2's
3's
4's
3 hooks

I had a hell of a sweat going today and I felt pretty good. This was my first experience with sprints of that nature and they were quite tiring. Having tendinitis and a bruised hip flexor didn't make it any easier, either.

The past couple of WO's have been nothing short of disastrous. My tendinitis is lingering, I have zero energy, and my strength is starting to wane. I am going to take the rest of the weekend off, add in about 300 kcals, and just chill/watch UFC. I am not concerned about my conditioning or my weight, so I just need to recharge myself for the last 2 weeks of my preparation. Just in case anyone is curious, I am down to 170 and I am the leanest that I have ever been. I look great, but I wish I felt the same.

Sorry to hear that Rodja. Taking some time off is a great idea! Try alternating cold/hot on the tendonitis for 20 mins at a time.

Lean, mean, green mohawk machine!

I have been way too busy lately and kcal restriction+increased training=bad idea. I am not going to do any training until Monday afternoon and I may indulge a little bit this weekend as well to fill my glycogen and induce metabolic confusion.
