are squats and deads making me shorter?

how far does spinal compression go for guys-and girls i guess-who do max effort squats and deads.

i've gotta be paranoid, but it seems like i'm an inch shorter than i was just 5 years ago. i know we shrink as we age, but i'm 32 for christ's sake, not 62.

my wife even made a comment, wtf???
 
Probably are I know I've shrunk over 1'' since highschool. You can get those boots that you hang from upside down and they will decompress the spine.
