Have you had the chance to check out that book i told you about? I just got a roller wheel for some solo work.

    Saturday's Session
    First session of sled pulling.
20-25 minutes of pulling done in 5minute intervals.
working on finding right weight and distances. I’m out of shape…but at least not as bad as my Training partner. Loved how it worked as recuperative tool.
Planning on 2x15minute sessions a week. Done the day after ME and DE squats.

  4. Wait you pulled a sled for 5 minutes straight? I guess it depends on the weight that you use, but that's pretty crazy. You don't go halfway on anything, Kabuki.

I've pulled a truck and some sleds for around 60-70 s a couple of times, and my heart was about to explode.

  6. Nice.. SB showed me how gnarly sled pulling can be, and we barely broke 10 minutes collectively. GPP work is one of my main goals now, with the BJJ and other fun little hobbies I have set up.

pulling the sled backwards just wrecked my legs too.

You can really feel how it can get your conditioning up very high once you get ot long heavy pulls.

This is one of my main goals for this winter. will take it somwhat easy over next month as i have meet on Dec1st.

Ok. I was thinking on grass which would be much worse. Are you just walking with it then?

  21. Last nights workouts.

    BW upon waking 247.8
Going to have to do some adjusting on my diet or making weight in a month from now is going to be difficult…249.6 again this morning

No vids as I have not uploaded them yet (it was wife’s birthday last night)

A quick note on my changed bench routine with switching to repetition method on my DE bench day. While going through ART therapy on my triceps I am taking out the bands on benching and doing repetition work instead of explosive speed work. Also on my heavy bench days I am not doing any lockout work, board presses, ect. Just doing some lighter shirt work for technique.

    Bench
    45x20
    145x12
    225x30x20
I’m hoping to get up to 40 with doing these for a couple months and getting used to doing reps.

    Overhead lockouts
    235x12
    325x8x8
    375x9

    Band Pressdowns
    #3 x20x16x12

    Front delt raises
#1’s with lots of stretch x12x12x12x12

  22. Boring workout and a bit slow as a friend stopped by to get his last heavy bench day in before heading to worlds. So I was spotting and putting different shirts on.

    BW upon waking 249.6

    Deadlift
    145x6x6
    235x3
    325x3
    415x3
    505x1x1x1x1
    600x1 w/Metal Deadlifter
    600x1 w/Max DL

Metal deadlifter is just way to small at my current weight. I can hit 600x5 raw on Deadlift and that single was incredibly painful.

    Dumbbell Rows on flat bench
    65x16
    115x16x16

    Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns
    185x10x10x10x10

Shrugs w/ wide fat trap bar
    250x20
    300x20x20x20

    Hamstring Curls
    #3 band x16x16x16

My grip strength is definitely going up with the ART therapy. Did not use straps at all during workout and did not have a problem.

  23. oh yeah. for the next month i'm dispensing with DE squats and will be doing some DE deads and medium/heavy deadlifting with the suit on to work on technique. I am really unhappy with my deadlift technique at the moment and hope i can figure it out before the meet.

  24. Pulling sled
    135x11min no breaks
    60sec forward 30sec reverse.

faster pace this time. hit new distance. Long ways till i can hit 15-20min.

On not knowing how to lift, I do. I am a competitive lifter that is rarely called out for not performing a lift to strict standards. When I do partial lifts I make no bones about it and don’t even attempt to call it a full lift…I’m doing partials that day. If you don’t understand what I’m doing you need to do some serious research.

On being fat. I’m glad you feel you can judge my BF in videos where only my calves and forearms are visible. I’m assuming your making the judgment on the large size of my stomach. What you do not know, and what I don’t discuss often is that I have a disfigurement I will never be able to be rid of. Due to malnutrition as a homeless child my ribcage is distorted and points out at 90deg to my body and my stomach is distended. Luckily that is all. Unlike my 3 younger sisters who I ended up taking over custody and raising; who as adults are all under 5’ and 100lbs in BW due to FAS.

I don’t appreciate your ignorant and unneeded personal attacks. I am only posting online to keep myself motivated and to inspire others to see what an average person can achieve with training hard, eating right, and OTC supplements.
All I can say is you're the ****in man. Hope all is well with you and your sisters.
