    The weights felt heavy tonight, I’m still beat up, and my squat bar has not made it in yet….but I got some new 80lb plates….what should Buki do???

    cut it short as wife was yelling down the stairs I was taking to long. BSing with old training partner who came over to help out for the evening.

    All in all for being in my condition the squats felt easy. I would like to take them just a bit deeper next time and really need the squat bar for heavy lifts as the bar whip was bad on the 755 and got me distracted.

    the power bar (bench) and the deadlift bar came in last Friday. But the squat bar didn't ship till Friday. I should have it some time this week.

    Noticed forearms knotting up on me the night before after a little demolition work on the house. Normally I would make it in to acupuncturist and get them juiced but my schedule is to tight right now. This has me worried as it took 9 months to break them up last time I let them go to far (before I started taking better care of myself). So I kept everything light tonight as well as started self administered deep tissue massage, ice compression therapy, heat, light stretching, and some electrical stimulation with the tens unit.

    Speed Bench (155lbs in bands)
    Warmup then
    265x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x 3 w/30 seconds rest between sets

    This was a bench off were we were competing for speed on each round, and any technique flaw caused an automatic loss that round. I was beat 7 to 5.

  15. another sucky workout tonight with no volume. camera was acting funny so i messed with it to long. i shouldn't be deadlifting but decided to anywa becasue i had new bar so i decided to see how sumo stance with suit and bar felt.

    sorry PL terminology. Raw means with no supportive gear. as you'll see in the 690 attemps i had a squat suit on. The 660 was done with only a belt.

    one point for each round. fastest speed wins the round. Any default on form causes an automatic loss as well via not touch, not locking, missing groove with bar to high or low, crooked bar path etc.

    makes the speed bench day a little more entertaining and really makes you not slack off on driving for speed and maintaining form.

  22. Iím getting a bit worn down the last 2 weeks. It might just be mental as well with all the activity around the house remodel Iím also working onÖbut probably not. Going to have to start cutting stuff out over the next 3 weeks to allow myself to catch up from the fatigue accumulation and get ready for the competition.

    I had trouble locking the right sideÖwhich is the side Iíve been having some forearm knotting problems this last week. Also think the Katana shirt is a bit much for my lockout strength right now, so I may have to use the old Rage X to open with a lower weight.
