Exercise Phys. It's weird how much your overall interests change in just a few years. I originally wanted to get my PhD under Cordain at Colorado State to further the Paleo movement, but that was before I found powerlifting. Now, I'm looking at two main schools for my PhD: Texas and Kentucky as they have more of a S&C interest.

    2/10
    Squat

    Worked up to 615x1

    Ab Wheel
    BWx10x3

This session was far from my best day. I was never able to loosen up my back and I had to call it at earlier than I had hoped. Most of the crew ended up having a ****ty day and one of the guys had to dump a weight, which hasn't happened to us in several months. This whole next week is going to be an underload with only briefs on lower and raw for upper.

I always see the students in the grad program for ex/sci going everywhere and basically living in their gym clothes. Makes me jealous sometimes!

I've been thinking about going to Texas as well. The Hazelwood Act allows me to go to school in the state so I'm looking at schools in Texas.

I have a little time before I can go.

Haven't looked much beyond UT as far as Texas schools, I spent a little time talking to Jason about it but haven't decided on a particular school.

I am looking for a degree in exercise physiology with a more performance or S+C focus, my goal is to work with wither HS or hopefully college athletes as a coach/trainer.

UT would be the top option. Texas State is getting there, but still needs some faculty improvements.

    I have a buddy who's there.

My GPA from HS was a 4.5 so depending on what I get with my SAT it shouldn't be an issue. Also with the hazelwood act and prior military service it becomes a little easier.

I wasn't too worried about it honestly. I don't really get worried about anything though lol.

That's sweet Austin is awesome. With that GPA I'm you'd probably get in any school.

With college you just have to do the work and put in the effort for your weekly assignments. I'm sad it took me so long to get back.

A lot will depend on SATs obviously, I plan to take it soon. I have to make the appointment with education services first.

Undergrad is irrelevant since most of the load is basics and minor. By the time you'd graduate, the landscape could be very different.

UT-Austin or one of the affiliates? There's a world of difference.
