  2. June 12 - June 14, 2008
    Days 13 - 15

    Impressions / Results:

Dosing protocol remained unchanged versus last update.

I had to take the night train on Friday (June 13th) to Berlin, a trip that took about nine hours (train departed at 11:05pm and we arrived at 08:01am)! Although I had a bed-compartment, and although the trip was relatively comfortable, sleep quality under those circumstances was nowhere close to usual. Besides, the air-conditioning in the compartment was rather too powerful, such that I would have caught cold under normal circumstances. Why is all this information useful in a log of this type? Simple. Inadequate hydration (I could not drink as much as usual), and inadequate sleep within an environment of sub-optimal temperatures would usually create a conducive environment for cortisol imbalances and compromising of the immune system. Besides, because I visited Berlin for business purposes, and spent all morning and early afternoon (until about 01:00pm) in meetings, it was impossible to take my supplements in the usual fashion on Saturday. I only made sure I took at least one Anabolic Pump before lunch. I took the return train at 01:53pm from Berlin and arrived at about 09:00pm. I basically spent close to 22 hours on the road.
So, considering that I remained alert and focussed during my meetings, and considering that my immune system was not compromised, my STOKED! stack must have some type of "memory effect" by elevating cellular concentrations of key compounds within the first two weeks of supplementation, such that a boost in my immune system as well as management of cortisol levels were possible, even after missing close to a full day of supplementation!

Today, I basically feel fully restored and energized. Halfway through my stack, I can already recommend STOKED! At the end of my stack, I may recommend it without reservations. But there are another two weeks to go. I'll keep my toes crossed!

I did not catch cold! That was the pleasant surprise and a testimony to my STOKED! stack's ability to boost immune support.

  5. Travelling is my achilles heel, I just hate it and I would have been so run down.

Same phenomenon during the LT era. If you weren't there crying in your beer during the Psarczuk screw up then you aren't a real GIANTS fan. That's part of being a fan of the big blue living through some of the most interesting screwups in playoff history. Then to watch that gut check, to pull off the near impossible. Thats what the games about, the guy with the biggest balls wins.

Good job I! Ahh, I always loved the incredibly efficient mass transit system in Europe. If only the US followed though on their hundreds of empty promises over the years, I wouldn't still be stuck paying $200/week in gas to drive to my office each week.

  20. Dropping in Strat.

Your last update has me thinking. Since you felt influences that have you under the impression that Stoked has cumulative/"storage" type properties (I don't know exactly how to word that lol) that enable lapses in dosing; would you see major drawbacks of implementing that sort of dosing strategy to improve bottle length. Maybe something along the lines of 1-2 weeks solid followed by a staggering scheme?

That was just a postulate. But, a six-day-on-one-day-off approach should do.

  24. June 15 - June 18, 2008
    Days 16 - 19

    Impressions / Results:

During the past four days, I deliberately dropped Cnidium Monnier, Activin Grape Seed Extract, and Pine Bark Extract from my stack, to compare the results with my earlier STOKED! stack. Surprisingly, STOKED! appeared to have stood its own to a large extent. While I would prefer to take STOKED! with Grape Seed Extract, the absence of these nutrients did not significantly alter my impressions from STOKED! In particular, vascularity is still prominent, and appears to be most dramatic in the early hours of the evening. With a balled fist, stretching and flexing my hand (regardless whether right or left) in front of me at about 60 degrees from my body reveals a nice network of veins that gives a rather fulfilling feeling! This is further testimony to the improved leanness I mentioned earlier. Improved arterial vasodilation clearly plays a role, but veins are only noticeable when an improvement in the lean mass:fat mass ration can be ascertained.
This logically provokes the question of current BF% versus starting. I will take this measurement in the next couple of days, or at the end of the log, at the latest. I definitely expect to see some positive changes. I now have a Fitness 3000 Caliper that should provide fairly accurate results. My electronic scale produced weird results a few months ago, to say the least.
Now, back to the results. Strength and endurance are still stable at a high level. A combination of higher reps and heavier weights is usually possible during weight training. Certainly, endurance and strength are not expected to increase indefinitely. More important is that they are maintained at a stable and high level.
Altogether, I feel good and strong, not just physically. So, letís stay STOKED!

  25. Nice to see you're intune with your body And I still prefer the old manual scales because I know they're consistent.

  26. Great job bro

By a long shot! Differences versus the electronic ones can be up to 10%! Mind-blowing!

Being in tune with your body makes things a lot easier. I don't put much stock in scales anymore especially with what these new supps do for you. The scale only seems to confuse the issue. I find the mirror gives a more accurate picture.

^^^^Couldn't have said it any better myself. Great minds think alike...lol.
