Another great workout! The quality of your workouts seems to be improving overall, so that's a positive sign. A lot of that is owed to your diet of course, but you have a pretty solid supplement stack going (even in addition to the AppNut stuff).

Are you a stim junkie? 2 scoops of Origin seems like a lot, but whatever works for you! That Origin and Core ABC combo is super solid though. I have not tried Origin yet, but I will get around to it at some point. With pwo's it seems like I am always either reviewing/logging something or lately beta testing for Uncut. Uncut is a handful for sure. I will see if I can get you some samples once it's available.

I wouldn't say a stim junkie but I am very stim resistant. Takes a lot to get me to "feel" stims. That is why I tend to stick to stim-free pre-workouts and things that really enhance focus. That is why I have found Origin impressive I can feel it kick in rather than the subtle effects of most. Usually I get hit with nausea or other jitters on super high stim products even if I don't get much energy out of them.

I feel in the zone these last couple months. Kicked some work issues out the way and feel in control of my future, which has directly helped my training. The products are definitely a component in that though.

why is it if you use more than average, you gotta be a junkie?

what about the guys with natural higher tolerance levels, due to individual metabolism, rather than too much exposure?

I ask because I am a stim junkie myself. I often use more than I need to - partly due to high tolerance (even after taking a month off) and partly because I feel better with higher stim intake. I was a fan of DMAA myself and miss that euphoric buzz. Our new pwo, Uncut should have that same feeling to it, but of course it's DMAA-free. We are just about done with the beta testing, but I loved how it made me feel. I have a feeling it's going to be pretty popular.

ahhh i understand man, no worries.
it sucks to be naturally tolerant, and need more of a product than the average joe does, just to feel the same way.
i personally just don't care for the term stim junkie, delineates negative images of addiction to me.

altho - certainly i do not disagree there is a mentality of excess that bb'ing can sometimes perpetuate

    I like this....

Honestly have been using more stims the past half year than usual. Usually do not use them just due to lack of efficacy..have found a few good combos recently though.

    Jan. 12:

    1 scoop Craze + 1 scoop Origin + 4 NO Uptake + 3 Drive 30 minutes pre-workout. 3 Neovar + 2 NO Up post-workout.

    Training:

    ME Lower:

    -Reverse Band Squat: 425lbs x 2.

Never done reverse band work. Had no idea what to truly expect (have read up on it but you know). Went with a low box just to maintain constant depth due to changes in ease with lowering. Felt really good, but probably should have quit at 415. Got three (second was hard but third rep was easier) so I decided to try more. Couldn't bang out a third at 425 unfortunately. No idea how to determine the exact weight being taken off due to the bands but it was an interesting experience. Liked having to unrack the bar with it real heavy and keep everything really tight, but the lowering and it getting easier was nice on the back and allowed me to drive out the hole.

    Assistance work:

    B1)Hip Thrust: 3 x 10 @ 205lbs.
    B2)BB Shrugs: 3 x 12 @ 205lbs
    C1)Reverse Hyper: 2 x 10 @ 25lbs
    C2)Stir The Post: 2 x 8/8
    C3)Reverse Sled Pull: 2 x ~20yds @ 360lbs + sled.

Nice additions today. Haven't done the hip thrusts in awhile so took a set to get used to (even after warming up). Didn't push this instead held for a pause at the top. Decided to add a bit more weight on the sleds due to the ease of the last several sessions. Was hammered by the end of the workout but still felt great.

    Diet:

    3300 should be achieved today.

    Supplement Notes:

    -4 FT + Na-R-ALA upon waking.
-4 pre for NO Uptake with 3 Drive.
-Lower reps than usual but still got a solid pump and some great mind muscle contraction.
-Weight was down a half pound from last week.
-Overall I have been trying to push hings to grind me down before some deloading but regardless I feel awesome most of the day. Some interesting mood increases.
-Strength seems to be still moving up on leg days without too much struggle. Interested to see max outs on the conventional deadlift and squat.
-Should note that I haven't mentioned it much, but noticing great recovery between workouts. Not much DOMS between workouts and not feeling run down throughout.

    Other Random Notes:
-Wanted to try the Craze + Origin combo again today. Great combo and workout was awesome.

I can roll with that. Makes you sound well versed in the realm of energy boosting supplements. I, myself, claim to be a stim connoisseur.

    Jan. 14:

    1 scoop Craze + 1 scoop Origin + 5g SNS Leucine + 6 NO Uptake + 3 Drive pre-workout today. 3 Neovar post-workout.

    Training:

    ME Upper:

    -Reverse Band Bench Press: 265lbs x 3
-Again new exercise. Wasn't sure how it would work out so I went conservative on the band tension. Didn't seem to be helping very much at all at the top of the movement but I could feel it helping at the bottom. Moved up pretty easily so may have been more helpful than I thought. Was a great way to work on form with it being easier off the chest and felt I got a great back arch and tightness today. Great start to the workout.

    Assistance work:

    B1)JM Press: 5 x 8 @ 145lbs
    B2)Chest supported row: 5 x 10 @ 115lbs
    C1)Shoulder Raises: 2 x 15 @ 20lbs
    C2)Pull Ups: 2 x 12 @ BWT
    D1)Rear Delt Raise: 2 x 12 @ 17.5lbs
    D2)Hammer Curl: 2 x 12 @ 30lbs
    D3)Triceps Pressdown: 2 x 12 @ 65lbs

Gym was hot and muggy, which really drained me towards the end. I actually even did the wrong assistance work at the very end for rear delts (which isn't really a big deal), came home wrote it down, looked at last week and just shook my head.

Either way I was feeling pretty beat by the end of the lift. Was sweating an insane amount and feeling light headed (I pounded a ton of water after the workout and felt better within half an hour). JM Press felt easier than last week and the rows also were easier (so I focused on a harder contraction at the top). Still, I felt beat by the end of my Bs so I decided to opt out of OHP and just did some front raises (not straight in front and with the thumbs pointed up). Great pump and endurance didn't hinder me despite feeling like crap.

    Diet:

Diet will be different in the sense that instead of eating my first meal I just pounded my pre-workout drink and headed to the gym fasted. Total intake and macros shouldn't be different but just in a smaller feeding time.

    Supplement Notes:

    -4 FT + Na-R-ALA upon waking.
-6 NO + 3 Drive pre-workout. Took the Drive much closer to the FT than usual (due to change in gym time), and got some slight discomfort. Didn't effect my lift and was gone by the time I got to the gym anyways.
-Solid pump despite some of the lowest reps since the start of the log. Triceps were solid, back and shoulders were quite pumped. Even two sets of curls blew my arms up.
-Gym was hot so I lifted in a sleeveless for the first time in forever (typically wear a short sleeve and sweatshirt, but it was so hot I didn't ). While it just felt weird with no sleeves, I did see some intense shoulder veins and definition. May be leaner in my upper body than I had thought.
-Sleep has been pretty deep lately. Feeling pretty rested when I wake, but having a little trouble getting out of bed. Would rather just lay there and go back to sleep.

    Random notes:
-Felt run down today. May have been related to the gym's temperature, but have noticed some signs of it creeping in (wanting to get more sleep being the biggest). Overall that is kind of to be expected. I have been pushing it pretty hard and am coming up on a planned deload soon. If I wasn't feeling at least somewhat beat up I may have underestimated the amount of work I needed to be doing. Still felt it should be mentioned as I am surprised with how heavy I have been going how it hasn't hit sooner.

    January 16:

    2 scoops Origin + 4 NO Uptake + 3 Drive pre-workout today. Took 3 Neovar + 2 NO Uptake post-workout.

    Training:

    DE Lower:

    -Squats @ 185lbs w/Bands: 8 sets x 2 w/45-60s rest.
    -Clean Style Deadlifts @ 225lbs w/Pro Short Mini Bands: 8 sets x 2 w/45-60s rest.

Went with bands rather than chains this week. Solid dynamic work on both.

    Assistance work:

    B1)SLDL: 4 x 12 @ 185lbs
    B2)Pull Ups: 5 x 5 @ BWT
    C1)Reverse Sled Pulls: 2 x 30yds @ 360lbs + Sled
    C2)Band Good Morning: 2 x 30 @ Green Band
    C3)Plank Sled Drags: 2 x 10yards @ 90lbs

Was feeling pretty fatigued after the Dymanic Effort work but grinded through this rather intense workout. Grip was struggling on pull ups (another indicator for some needed rest) but the actual pull ups themselves were easy. Felt easier to get through my Cs at the end fatigue wise, but chose to try the plank sled drags on the fly. These were brutal. My abs were crushed (and I have some nice DOMS in them today).

    Diet:

3400. Feeling fatigued so I let my diet get a little less strict just for the heck of it. So there was a little more fat and carbs throughout the day, but not a cheat meal just larger portions of stuff.

    Supplement Notes:

    -4 Free Test + Na-RALA upon waking.
-Blood flow throughout was great. Felt pumped and solid but not overly pumped throughout. Got great contractions on most movements of the day.
-Starting to feel the onset of some rundown/fatigue. Had to push mentally a little more throughout the workout but physically didn't notice any detrimental effects.

    Random Notes:
-Slightly supplement related but more so training related, but the last several days I have felt more beat up mentally. Don't have many aches or pains in joints or muscles (although there are a few increases in trigger points during foam rolling), but mentally tired. This is mostly due to the fact I have been having trouble falling asleep. Mind has been racing and I feel awake until after midnight and then subsequently have trouble waking up. Honestly surprised this is the first that anything like this has happened based off how hard I have been hitting some things.
-Only have enough Free Test to last the rest of the week. Will continue NO Uptake and Drive for this week and next (should be close to being out of NO Uptake by then).

I am about to have another hectic day tomorrow...hope to make it through until Friday night.

Man, solid work considering you haven't been feeling it as much.

You need to get some sleep. Not only is it going to make a huge difference in your recovery and energy levels but you have to be careful with the flu going around. You don't want your immune system to be compromises by lack of rest.

Do you ever take anything to sleep? I'm the same way where I can't shut my brain off at night. I am a fan of bulk GABA, HGH-Up and Poseidon NT for sleep.

    agreed with Dewey here

been having some sleep issues myself. picked up some G8 and that did the trick initially, but then these last 2 days (the OFF days in 5/2 dosing pattern) have been rather screwed..

same issues as you bolt, mind racing cannot relax or sleep, but even worse - been waking 6x an hour and never deep REM
and THAT is what will eventually get ya, as i noticed steps backward in musculature/recovery etc not to mention my sanity (we're talking couple weeks straight extended of that nonsense before i got G8)

as hard as we train and as much as our minds go (and we have other similarities bolt as you know, stresses etc), you can only go so long w/o quality sleep before it spirals and wrecks your world

i always thought i could catch up on sleep when i die lulz..
lack of sleep will get ya there quicker tho (dead, that is)

lookin forward to resuming my G8 tonight

Ya guys I agree 100%. I have conquered my sleep problems over the years by learning how to relax my mind and through many stress relief techniques. So nowadays I only struggle to fall asleep when i start to overreach, which I was expecting soon so it is right in line with how I saw this month concluding.

On a good note I took some melatonin last night, got nearly 8 straight hours (no waking up during the night) last night. Crushed my lift today beyond expectations so I may not be too far gone. Update coming soon.

    Definitely is!

    Jan. 18:

Hectic morning and not much time for food so I went with the normal protocol fasted:
    Took 2 scoops ABC + 2 scoops Origin + 7 NO Uptake + 3 Drive pre-workout today. Took 3 Neovar post-workout.

    Training:

    DE Upper:

    -Bench Press @ 115lbs + Bands: 8 sets x 3 w/60s rest.

Bar had a good pop so I went a little heavier today (after a couple sets at 105 it didn't seem enough). Perfect amount and great work.

    Assistance work:

    B1)CGBP: 3 x 8 @ 185lbs [Last set I put a 3 board down and banged out 6 more reps right after]
    B2)Scap Pull Ups: 2 x 10 @ BWT, 1 x 15 @ BWT
    C1)Shoulder Press: 3 x 12 @ 45lbs
    C2)Inverted Row: 2 x 15 @ BWT, 1 x 20 @ BWT
    D1)Band Pull Aparts: 2 x 15 @ 15lbs
    D2)Incline DB Curl: 2 x 15 @ 30lbs
    D3)Triceps Wide Grip Underhand Pressdown: 2 x 15 @ 50lbs

Was feeling amazing today. Got a solid amount of sleep so felt good then slammed my pre-workout combo and was humming. Planned to hit some crazier things in the final week before the deload and based on how I was feeling I went through with it. Tris were fried after the board addition and pull ups felt 100 x easier today than last week and earlier this week. Pushed pretty much all out (maybe 1 left in the tank) on the pull ups and inverted rows for the final sets. Otherwise I avoided failure even with heavier weights on everything (zero assistance from spotter..I usually avoid failure tho). Pumped up crazy before heading out today.

    Diet:

Busy with work then meetings and squeezing in my workout in the time I had so haven't consumed as much as normal by now, still hope to hit at least 3200 maybe more.

    Supplement Notes:

    -4 FT + 1 Na-R-ALA upon waking.
-7 NO Up + 3 Drive pre-workout. Had 7 NO in my pocket so figured what the hell (must have counted wrong when taking them out the bottle this morning). Was a little light headed by the end of the workout but nothing major.
-Lower reps and more weight than usual on the DE days but was feeling in the zone with that so just went with it.
-Veins everywhere. Loving the effects of the Nitrates + extra goodies right now.

    Side notes:
-2 scoops Origin fasted kicked me HARD today. Was wired and ready to go. The good rest and sleep last night was definitely a major factor here.
-Weight holding steady right now. Feel a little leaner than in January.
-Based on how I feel now I will hit my legs pretty hard tomorrow (unless things change) and hit a pretty solid deload next week. Look for a final review coming sometime after that.

Edit: Posted more updated pictures later so these aren't necessary anymore. ;)

Thanks! I honestly was surprised when I compared some of the photos I have (from this log and then from the 2012-2013). Weight is similar to 1 year ago but body comp is better and I am much stronger.
