I needed to test my strength once again. I was praying that I didnt lose anything, and by the looks of It I didnt. Yes my joints felt a little stiff, but one good elbow blow to the wall what left a little dent all was good.
Incline Dumbbell Press
50 lbs for 10 reps
60 lbs for 10 reps
70 lbs for 10 reps
80 lbs for 10 reps
90lbs for 8 reps
100 lbs for 6 reps
I really wanted to key in on my upper pecs with this movement. Each rep is brutal since i normally squeeze and hold for a second or two. Those of you who have even used the heavyweights beyond 70, know what I am talking about.
Close Grip to the Neck Presses on the Smith Machine
225 lbs for 5 sets of 12
With this movement like i mentioned before, not only is a great mass builder for your triceps, but great for your upper pectoral.
Seated Dips
310 for 4 sets of 20
Another great movement for your lower chest, and to key in your triceps.
Pushups
2 sets of 50 non stop
I love the painful feeling when i work on chest, so i just keep the pump and pain with pushups..
Seated Flyes
180 lbs for 2 sets of 20
Great warmdown exercise for chest day. You leave feeling like you benched a bus.
I have not felt this good working on chest in a long time. After that one week off, I am glad to be back and happy that I did not lose any strength. I did however shrink a little.
Post Workout

The smith machine allows me to focus on the negatives. Most of you know I tore my calf a few years ago, and it has not been the same since. I fear that if I squat heavy again, ill definately tear it up again. At least with the smith machine, i can always drop the weight on the rack.

Lying leg Curls
