Hello all! This is my log of PES Alphamine. Been about 2 years or more since I've logged on AM. But I'm glad to be back.

As some of you know and for you that don't, I am a performing artist. My day consists of jumping around and lifting women from 8:30 to 5 tues through Sat. So my gym time is limited to mon, tues, thurs, fri for about 1 hour. I am versed in most bodybuilding routines and for most of my experience i was always trying to gain muscle. But since reaching a high standard for strength in my profession, i have since changed my focus to cutting. My favorite lifting program is DC, but will be incorporating high volume and some crossfit based workouts to boost metabolism. My job is my cardio and I rarely get on the elliptical.

Starting stats:
Weight 160
BF 14%

Goals:
Weight 156
BF 9%

Had my first dose of Alphamine this morning 20min before breakfast and got a big jolt of focus and had decent appetite suppression. Like I didn't have to eat if I didn't want to. Good taste to the fruit punch flavor that I received. Mixed easily as well.

Breakfast was:

1 whole egg + 3 egg white
2 pieces of buttered homemade sourdough bread with strawberry jam

Macros: 30/60/20

After warm up today(1.5 hours) I took 10g modern bcaa's.

Lunch: Natural peanut butter sandwich on sourdough bread with honey. 10oz raw milk with half a scoop TEAMSKIP protein powder.

Macros: 35/75/30

Thanks for following guys! I won't let you down.

And for those that don't know, DC training is high intensity/low volume progressive rest-pause training. AKA Doggcrapp training. Great for bulking IMO. But, I won't be doing any DC sets during this log unless it's for my Bi's or Tri's. Sticking to high volume and Crossfit/metabolic training.

So I'm beat tired. Btw, I am dosing the Alphamine at 1 scoop in the a.m. and 1 scoop around 2pm. When i stop feeling as much of a kick from it, then i will up it to 2 scoops in the morning.

Pre & Post WO food: serving of beef jerky and cheez-its, one scoop WPC pre and one post.
Macros: 45/25/10
Cals: 370


So training tonight was a modified crossfit/metabolic style workout with a few extra sets for strength.

Warmup: 600m run, then various sets of high knees, lunge twists, worm crawls, and jumping jack.

10 min AMRAP: 4 pullups, 5 kettlebell swings(45lbs), 6 bent over underhand barbell rows(95lbs), 7 reps on the Swiss ball for abs. Made it 8.5 rounds.

Then added: Single arm DB rows 60lbs x 12
Seated supramaximal swinging DB curls 30lbs x 10
Standing cable curls straight bar attachment- 2 dropsets
3 sets Hanging straight leg raises(feet to bar) 7, 6, 5

Dinner: Tilapia filet with Egg on top and Siracha poured all over. One slice of frozen pizza with half serving of ranch dressing.
Macros: 45/40/35
Calories: 655

Maintenance Calories for me is 3,100 and my total for today was 2,330. Total macros was 155/200/95

Feel good and can't wait for day 2. Too early for me to make any statements about Alphamine as of yet.

Ive been finding i prefer to take one scoop morning, 2 scoops afternoon after a meal. If found the thermo kicks in harder that way. It might be worth experimenting.

Thanks guys. I'm just going by what the handheld BF and BMI indicator at my gym said. I know that they aren't always correct. but i'm sure it's in the ball park. I thought i was closer to 12. But the number doesn't matter. What matters is if I can see more of my abs by the end of this Alphamine run!

Ok Day 2..

Lunch: slice of bread, 30 cheeze-its, 8oz raw milk with one scoop TEAMSKIP

Macros: 40/55/25
Calories: 605

Workout: 30min steady state cardio on precor AMT

Got off work early yesterday and was able to fit cardio in before I went to teach last night.

Dinner: tilapia filet, 4oz carnitas, 3/4 cup black beans, handful of spring mix greens.

Macros: 51/40/17
Calories: 517

Totals: 121/155/67 Cals 1707

Way under maintenance. Didn't mean to go that low but I was working until 9pm. I will be under maintenance for one more day before I go above for 2 days. I usually do 3 down and 2 up.

Day 3

Alright. Yesterday was hard because of the lack of carbs and calories from the day before but it was overall good even though I ate out at every meal. I made some decent choices and am happy about it.

Breakfast: McDonalds Egg McMuffin and Yogurt parfait 22/60/14 - 450

During warmup for work I finally noticed a larger more pronounced thermogenic effect. It was very nice. Plus the appetite suppression was more pronounced during the first half of the day. 10g BCAA after warmup.

Mid Morning Snack: 8oz raw milk with 1 scoop TEAMSKIP 33/12/8 - 252

Pre WO: 1.5 slices of bread and 1 tbsp of peanut butter + 10 BCAA 5/30/10 - 230

Workout: Circuit of 6 exercises. No more than 10 sec rest between exercises and 2 min rest between circuits. 3 rounds performed.
Exercise 1- incline barbell press 135lb
Exercise 2- flat DB press 40lb DBs
Exercise 3- Seated military press(behind head) 95lb
Exercise 4- Cable front raise with rope attachment 50lb
Exercise 5- CGBP 135lb
Exercise 6- Barbell skullcrushers to nose

Each exercise was done till failure and most sets were in the 8-12 rep range.

Lunch: 8oz sushi grade tuna over rice 28/37/1 - 269

Dinner: Didn't get to eat until 9 and was starving! CHEESEBURGER from smashburger! 41/45/58 - 838

Totals: 129/184/91 - 2071

Glad to see that even with a fattyass cheeseburger that i was still 1000 below maintenance.
It's a co-workers birthday today and we are going to a pizza place after dinner. I will have a late lifting session afterwards. But today should be an Above maintenance day anyway and i'm sure that will put me above.

OK, so this day was last Friday. It was a productive day, but tough to make it through my workout due to the lack of calories this week.

Totals: 175/235/80 = 2360 calories

Workout:

Wide grip BW pull ups: 12,12,12

Single arm DB rows 60lbs: 12,12,12

Power Cleans 95lb: 12, 12, 12

Standing cable curls(straight bar attachment): Dropset

Preacher Curls: 65x4, 45x7

Incline DB curls: DC rest pause- 8,4,3= 15

Hanging Leg raise straight legs with twist: 8, 8, 6

It was like pulling teeth to get through the workout, but progress was made.

Focus of Alphamine is fantastic. It reminds me of Adderall. But doesn’t feel pharmaceutical. Just similar.

Sooooooooo.... Saturday was Oktoberfest here and it's a couple blocks behind my house. Plus, my neighbors, who are also my co-workers, threw a birthday party for a girl's 21st. It was a fun but rough night. Drank more than I should have, ate plenty of cake and don't really remember all of it. But, Shizz happens. If I had to guess, I was somewhere between 3000 and 3500 calories. Which isn't horrid. I had plenty of sauerkraut, bratwurst, and mustard :) Which is always a plus in my book. I did notice that the Alphamine stim and focus feeling lasted well into my 3rd or 4th beer(high gravity beers). I had plenty of energy when I usually would be mellow. Gonna chalk that day up as a Cheat day, forget about it and go ahead with my path of destroying fat. Weighed in 2.5lbs less than day 1. Could be water weight but i feel slightly leaner. Could be a bit of both..

Funny you should mention the adderall. I too made that comparison a few times.

Day 6

So yesterday was a recovering day with a trip to Sam's club and watching football. Picked up more fish oil and Glucosamine/MSM combo. Diet was a little funny, but was way under maintenance. Had pizza for lunch and was a small dinner.

Macros: 100/215/80
Cals: 1920

So I forgot my morning dose before breakfast. I took it immediately afterwards. Didn't have the same effect or feeling as usual. It didn't hit me hard like usual. That won't be happening again. I like the kick on the ass personally.

Yesterday was a very productive day of destroying fat.

Breakfast was amazing. Check out what my girlfriend made me for bfast.

Yeah that's a 2 whole egg + 2 egg whites omelet with avocado, cheddar, green onions, sautéed spinach, fresh tomatoes on top. Pretty damn good.

Ok so totals..

Macros: 155/160/90

Calories: 2070

Workouts: did a slight weight program for 30min

Incline bench press: 135 x 12, 12

Flat bench: 135 x 18

Seated military: 95 x 15, 13

Upright rows: dropset 65x12 - 45x8

Tricep press down(v bar attachment): large dropset

Tricep pull down( single arm attachment): dropset

About 3 hours later I took a Bikram yoga class. If anyone doesn't know what that is, I suggest you look it up. It's very specific class. 90min of sweating like a pig. I'm sure I lost at least 5 pounds of water.

I took my second dose of alphamine before Bikram and my focus in class was absolutely great, but I definitely felt more overheated than I normally do in there. In a 105 degree room the thermogenic effects were very pronounced. I don't usually think "Omg can you please turn on the fan?" during class.

I am very excited to find out how much BF I've dropped so far. I'll weigh in on thurs and check my BF.

So I am officially dosing 1.5 scoops in the morning and 1 scoop in the afternoon. Still loving alphamine.

Totals:

Macros: 120/200/70
Calories: 1910

No workout since I worked 13 hours yesterday. Today and tomorrow should be the same. I need to de-load anyways. Today should be a calorie surplus since I've had 3 below.

Also, DOMS ARE HORRENDOUS from Bikram on Monday. I haven't been this sore in months. It doesn't help that I'm below my normal calorie intake.

Never tried Adderall, but I dose about 1 or .75 of a scoop 3 times a day at 5 hour intervals, the focus I get at work or with workouts is straight out ridonkulous!

Keep this going, Awesome motivation indeed!

Felt pretty good besides the DOMS yesterday. I tried to eat maintenance, but the appetite suppression from Alphamine made it difficult.

Totals: Macros- 170/230/90
Calories: 2410

Workout:

Pullups(various grips) 12,12,10,10

Abs: 5 sets

Hammer strength rows: 90lbs. 12, 12. Very slow negatives.

Preacher curls: 45lbs. 9, 8
Concentration curls: 30lbs x 11

Rotator cuff exercises: 5lbs high reps

Reverse flys: 10lbs. 12, 12

Still loving Alphamine and noticing my abs a little more each day :)

Thursday was a very busy day for me. Was running on 5 hours of sleep and Alphamine made a 13 hour day possible. Or at least felt like it did.

Totals- Macros: 120/170/80

Calories: 1880

Didn't actually mean to eat that low, but the workday didn't allow for much time to eat. Alphamine helped get me through it. Kept me focused on work and suppressed my appetite enough.

Calories: 2630

It was date night and we had fantastic food. Ice cream for dessert. Hence the many fat macros.

Workout: 2 sets on most exercises, higher rep, full upper body.

Superset
Pullups and hammer strength rows- 12,12 and 12,12

Incline bench: 135 x 19, second set performed with 3 second negatives for 10 reps.

Flat DB press 40lbs x 12

Close incline DB (DB's pressed together) 35 x 15

Push ups( 25lb weight on back and feet on bench) 20 reps then dropped plate off my back and hit 10 more at BW

Seated military: 95x 12,12

Upright rows: 65x 15

Superset
Cable curls/rope curls & tricep press downs/rope press downs.

Felt a huge pump, which was very nice since I haven't had many carbs as of late. Yesterday was the highest I've gone since starting alphamine.

I may bump up the alphamine to 1.5 morning and 1.5 afternoon starting next Tuesday

Hope you enjoyed your "date night" brosef! I get very few of those but when I do get em they don't seem to last long enough!

I'm at 2 and 2 on the dosing but don't know if it makes much difference as 1.5 worked great for me as well.

Yeah I sure did enjoy it and you're right that they don't last long enough.

2 and 2 is quite a bit. I don't know if I would like that.

Day 12

Saturday I was very tired and tried to eat a little more, plus I had a craving for a five guys cheeseburger. But overall it was a good day.

Macros: 145/240/105
Calories: 2485

Fat was high again for second day in a row but don't feel like I'm gaining any fat. Also, I haven't reach maintenance calories in almost 3 weeks even when I try. The appetite suppression from Alphamine is quite good IMO but I need to hit maintenance at least once this week. So tomorrow I will probably have a calzone or pizza for lunch, maybe chinese buffet. I feel like my body is starting to hate me and I need to reload my glycogen stores.

Day 13

Woke up on 4 hours of sleep in order to make a 9:30 Bikram class after having ppl over Saturday night. Alphamine definitely helped in waking up. During class the thermogenic effects were very noticeable. It was almost too much. My sweat didn't feel like it was cooling me off and I didn't stop sweating for 30 mins after class even though I took a cold shower...

Macros:145/235/90
Calories: 2330

Better on the fat aspect, but still need to carb load or the week. Gonna be a crazy Tuesday. Today I will be moderate on everything because it's my day off and might only lift a little this afternoon.

Thanks. I will eat big tomorrow for sure. But I may do something unexpected for lunch instead of Chinese or calzone..
