Went to bed last night not tired at all. MassHGH knocked me on my ass as soon as my head hit the pillow. I noticed now that the more I've been using it the faster I feel its effects.on getting me to sleep and keeping me that way. Woke up feeling great! Update for all:
I've been cleared to return to work starting Monday which is actually a relief since I'm ready to get the income train rolling again and stop drying up my PTO reserves! I've also been cleared to start lifting light in the gym!!! Anything that isn't too load-heavy on the back. So I can't do deadlifts/squats/benchpressing for at least another week according to my doc. Biggest piece of advice he had was to listen to my own body and take things nice and easy. No HIIT cardio/jogging on the treadmill for at least a week. Exercise bike/walking at an incline is OK. So some cardio can return there as well. So for a week it'll just be isolation exercies at light weights until I feel ready to start engaging the spinal column again.
SO THIS LOG IS GOING TO BE FIRING UP AGAIN REAL SOON...
My doc thinks it was all a mechanical injury and didn't involve the nerves/disc at all. So no slipped disc/herniation here! Woohoo! So lets get into some anatomy...
Do you see that ZYGAPOPHYSEAL joint? He thinks I did something to that region right there. So just gotta give it a little more rest. He did say he didn't want me becoming an invalid though and that getting up and moving around would help.
So to not bore you guys with one of my typicaly "bible page" posts... things are looking good.

DAY 7: SHOULDERS
Although its been almost 2 weeks since I have lifted I'm going to go ahead and keep the "DAYS" numbers in proper order to facilitate my using of SpeedX3 and time actually spent in the gym lifting. If I suddenly changed the title to DAY 19 or whatever it was I think some people would wonder what happened between DAY 6 and now lol...
I kept it light today because I'm still not 100% and the doc told me to do so. So don't make fun of my little numbers. Or do. It's all good
SEATED DB PRESS (w/ back support): 25sx10 4XMM 40sx10,10,10,10
OVERHEAD SHRUG: 45x25,25,15,25
SCAPTION: 4XMM 10sx10,10,10,20

Felt good to be back in the gym and at least work some accessory muscles. The back felt pretty good the whole time and didn't give me much problem. I think I was more excited to get to drink SpeedX3 again. Out of all the preworkouts I've ever tried... and I've tried a lot... it is hands down the most flavorful one I have ever had. Like I said to Miss Q I will be switching to SpeedX3 permanently once this log ends. It's that good. Shoulders felt great, huge pump towards the end of the workout with some DOMS the first two days after that I attribute more to time off than anything else.
Just feels good to get things going again.
Stay tuned, those days of PRs with each lifting day are bound to return once I get to 100%!
