Better idea is that you could compete raw, see if you like the meets and how they are ran, then decide to purchase gear.

We've actually looked into joining a PL gym, but there aren't any around here. We would both really benefit from an environment like that, I think.

The only hormone I would consider pulsing would be superdrol, and that is because a 3 week straight cycle made me feel like, as timber would say, death warmed over.

Running epi straight and solo should be a flippin amazing cycle. It was my first too.

    Day 20

LipoBurn: My legs are finally looking tighter and smaller! I weighed in 2-3 lbs less this morning than when I first started LipoBurn. Good fat loss progress so far, I think. Especially considering I'm continually gaining strength.

    Workout:

    Squats:

    5x135, 155
    3x185
    1x205, 215, 225, 240 lb PR

I had a very difficult time today. First of all I was using a different squat rack than usual. The racks were lower than what I am used to, and I felt more cramped in the power cage. It took me two tries to succeed in lifting 240lb, and I'm disappointed in my ROM. I should have gone down lower.

    Push Ups:
    5x15

    Supersetted w/

    Step Ups:
    5x8 w/ 50 lbs

Killer superset! I was sweating like crazy and it felt great!

    Bent BB Rows:
    2x5: 95,
    4x3 115

I had no energy to do these rows, hence the low weight. It's obviously a lot lower than what I've used in the past, but It still worked me out pretty damn well.

I did a couple of sprints around the track and then I finished off with a farmer's walk. I used 40 lb DBs and walked entirely around the track without dropping the weight. It was a mental challenge more than anything. Last time I did a Farmer Walk I used the same weight but had to drop the DBs 3 times. Mentally I wanted to drop the weight because of the pain, but I made myself to grip the **** out of that bar until I was done. LOL. I completed my goal, and my forearms are killing me right now!

    #1 nice squat

#2 Resolve, who's that huge beefy dude trying to get behind your wife like that? Looking swole bro.

#3 Squat the bar out of the rack, hold it for a second, and then walk backwards. It helps eliminate the whipping motion of the bar and helps conserve some energy.

I'm having a difficult time picturing this. If you mean that I would be completely out of the rack while squatting with no safety bars beneath me, there is no way I'm going to do it. I would probably kill myself at some point.

Here is my 240lb squat FAIL at my first attempt:

No... I mean.... unrack the weight and stand with it for a second to let it settle before stepping back. Instead of unracking the weight and stepping back in the same motion. Stand up with the weight, hold it for a quick second while it settles, then take two steps back and set up for your squat.

Inarius is 100% correct, BTW. It helps SOOO much when you pick up the weight and let your body adjust to the pressure on the spine before setting up and going into the movement.

Oh, and can you teach a seminar on booty growth and the power of a badonk to the entire female race please? Thanks.

Inarius made a great point- I just didn't understand what he meant at first.

A booty seminar? Why do I have the feeling that the room would be full of hundreds of people, none of which are women?

Two things that have helped me along the way BW - Again, considering that Resolve can front squat for 5 more than I can back squat for 1, I might be preaching to the choir... but

1- A belt never hurt anyone... when I do 1 rep squats, I typically wear a belt. I'll take it off once I squat that weight a few times, but after one lower back injury, I never want to deal with that ish again.

2- ever thought of stepping on the 2 1/2 lbs plates while squatting? It did wonders for the lower portion of my squat form.

I really am not lifting enough weight for me to justify wearing a belt. Once I can squat 400, I might consider it.

The plates are a good idea. I may add that to my routine once I get used to lifting in the power cage with lower safety racks.

    Day 21

    LipoBurn:

I can really see changes taking place. I love how this stuff keeps the water retention away from the application site. It helps me get a better idea of where I'm at with my fat loss progress. Like I said before, thighs are finally seeing a change and they weren't for a while. Good good things are happening.

    Workout:

    Deadlift
    5x135, 185
    3x 205
    1x215, 225, 245, 260 lb PR

So, I felt pretty strong yesterday. My back seemed to curve a little bit, but not too much considering I was lifting so much weight. As I watched the video I noticed that I racked the weight before doing the eccentric. Completely skipped the last portion. LOL. I don't know what I was thinking at the time, but it must have been something along the lines of "I have to unload all this friggin' weight, might as well rack it now while it's up in the air." I'm gonna have to think about what I'm doing before I do it.

    Dips:
    5x BW, 25
    3x35, 45
    2x60
    Backoff set w/ BW: 12 reps, 8, 10

I decided I would just try to meet my weight for last week, as I wasn't feeling very strong in my dips. So I hit it with 60 lbs, only could get it out for 2 reps though.

    DB Military:

    4x10: 30 lb DBs

Eh, nothing exciting. I was going to failure at 10 reps every time I did my set though, lol.

    Stair stepper for 15 minutes:

That made me sweat like crazy. I hate the stair stepper. My least favorite machine. But I add it in to my workouts here and there because it adds some spice into my routine.

I used to do that crap all time; racking the weight before the negative movement just because I hated having to pick it up again, but then I learned the plate trick. You guys may know about it, but just roll the plates onto a 2.5lber and you can take them off real easily right from the ground.

I just watched that vid again and that lift looked sooooo easy for you! You could be pulling way more. 280-300lb should be cake.
