I've never had my hormones checked and I know doctors don't check everything so what is everything that I need to tell my doctor to have tested? And what do I need to say to my doc so that my insurance will pay for it?

They won't without a symptom. That's why everyone mostly uses Private MD Labs for ~$50.

You could complain that you're having erectile dysfunction or having sexual problems, and there's a chance they'll prescribe a hormone panel, but this opens up a whole new can of worms.

Still good to go to your doc and get a lipid panel done. Usually included in a standard physical and worth it.

Say you're having quality of life issues and you want a full hormone panel.

This plus LH and FSH
Its much more complicated then that. Pregnenolone plays an important role, cortisol levels, prolactin, free t4, free t3, thyroxine binding protein, and soooooo much more.
