Why is it females get prescribed hormones at their request, but when males want it we have to jump through hoops, research the $hit out of stuff to know how to ask for stuff without raising red flags? Done coplaining, Im going for a blood test tomorrow, in 2012 my total test was 304, and according to my present doc my pittiful levels "arent that bad" what can I do to get my levels low enough to get some damn help?

Quite the contrary. Too many men are being put on hormones and at too high of doses without proper evaluation and lab work. In the end it comes down to physicians that do not understand hormone therapy, but it is so much better than it was even 4-5 years ago.

What type of physician is your regular dr? When I showed up with loooow test lower than yours I was immediately sent to endochronology so a.specialist could see me and run more specific testing

I'm going to an endo but in my area it doesn't seem too hrt friendly, I have good insurance and antiaging places are cash only so I probably won't see one, which sucks cuz they seem like the only ones that know what their doing, docs that work with insurance practice defensive medicine so they don't get sued.

Read up on these clinics, they are the scum of the industry and unfortunately the only route for some. They overcharge for "treatment", haven't a care if TRT is actually needed as long as you have money, and load you up on unnecessary medication to collect more money. Sure there may be some decent ones, but their reputations are already poor.

That is a normal starting lab. E2 isn't ordered off the bat in most cases unless other labs are out of whack. You can always request cortisol, preg, DHEAs and e2 and see what his response is.

Listen, I know it sounds like I am going against what you are looking for but I know a few things about TRT and know many, many people that are on it as well as several endos. I just want to place an exclamation point on doing your due diligence to make sure you really need to be on it and if there is any way to naturally raise your levels to address your symptoms.

Oh ok, good to know, I spent all day looking up docs in case this guy doesn't want to help me out, and it doesn't look good, maybe a few urologists but looks like I'll have to settle for little to no treatment regardless, it just sucks knowing this cuz I live a monk like lifestyle when it comes to diet and training, yet I barely look like I work out, Yea I'm drinking some Hennessey now but that's to lower my test levels lol

Absolutely, don't get me wrong, I'd be happy as hell if he says "let's try clomid and see if we can kick start your natural levels" or something along those lines, I'm 35 and don't want to be on anything for life, but the last few years have sucked big time, I have 2 kids and my wife just finished her chemotherapy and I been doing everything for everyone for a while now, and my energy sucked before all this, thanks for your help brother, you've came to my aid more than once and just want you to know it's appreciated!
